Hera vs. Garzah - Squash Match Roughhouse

As she jogged down the ramp, and pointed her hands out to the crowd, she heard the crowd's cheers, mixed with a number of boos. Even though Garzah could hear the disapproval amongst some of the crowd, she didn't care much for it. She knew she didn't have a great track record here. She had a lot more approval way back in her weightlifting days, but her lack of skills made her stick out amongst the roster. Now she was practically a jobber here.

But Garzah wasn't bothered by this. Every fight was a experience, and a thrill. Though not as much thrills as she hoped, they were thrills nonetheless. Even when being defeated, she felt enthralled by the fights. She didn't judge much on who the opponent was, she just liked the fights even when she knew she couldn't win.

Today, as she hopped into the ring, she wondered who this....Hera was. She only knew she was new, and had made her debut by challenging that titaness, Hathiya. She must be some super confident strong lass, then! Garzah hoped she could give her some bigger thrills in todays match.

A familiar drumroll sounded through the arena, the crowd simmering down in anticipation... Before a triumphant orchestra heralded the arrival of the Unrelenting Gladiator Hera, and her sly retainer Hermes!

Hera, in particular, had a rather vicious scowl on her face as she stomped her way to the ring. She had been made aware of her opponent beforehand, and it felt like a slap in the face to her, being given a match with someone who's already lost six times. But, there's no use in complaining... Just have to get it over with.

She enters the ring and moves immediately to Garzah, stepping toe to toe with the orc and staring her down with her piercing yellow eyes. At least she's facing someone her own size now.

Garzah eyed her opponent as she walked in through the ring. She had seen her before on picture and tv screen, but now seeing her in person, she could see (and admire) her pretty solidly toned build, all things considered. Healthy and strong looking, her leotard showing off her thighs and her rather eye catching abs on her stomach.

What did surprise her, however, was her walking right up to her face almost, looking her up and down. The scowl on her face was notable and Garzah wondered if either that was her default expression, her show expression, or if she was just really ticked off today.

She figured it's most likely the second. Extending a calm hand forward, she greeted, "Yo."

Hera glances down at the hand offered to her with a raised, unamused eyebrow, her eyes shifting back up to glare at Garzah- Before simply brushing her hand away with a huff.

"I'm not shaking your hand unless it's deserving of being shaken. Maybe if you last five minutes, I'll give you the honor."

Garzah's eyes widened in surprise. Ok maybe she actually WAS just sour? She could hear the irritation in her voice. Shrugging, she walked back to her corner, saying, "All right. Have fun!"

And the bell rang!

Garzah kept her arms in a ready grappler stance, while approaching Hera.

Hera couldn't help but roll her eyes at Garzah's nonchalantly attitude as she turned to her corner while rolling her shoulders. She leans against the turnbuckle and waits, staring intensely at her opponent...

Ding!!


Hera raised her arms and walked forward, eager to show she's not someone to be taken lightly. She meets Garzah in the middle and immediately locks up with her in a collar and elbow... Before simply rearing back and shoving the orc full force!

Garzah's lock up against Hera was pretty tight, both seemed to be equally matched opponents in strength.

What Garzah didn't expect, however, was suffering a hard push from Hera. She stumbled backwards several steps, surprised at the sudden move.

And Hera looked to show off her strength even further- Just as Garzah seemed to regain her footing, a furious "HRRYAGH!!" filled her ears as Hera rushed forward, cocking her massive arm back and swinging it full force for the orc's head!

Garzah didn't duck in time, and her head received a face full of angry lady energy in the form of a clothesline smashing her head, causing her to get lifted off her feet, and slam to the floor hard enough to shake the whole ring violently, as her legs threw upwards then crashed back down on the ring just as hard.

All she did was give a grunt during all of this, and her wide open eyes were staring up at Hera, a look of bewilderment on them.

Hera had thrown her full weight into that clothesline, stumbling to her knees as she connected with the laidback orc's throat. She picked herself up with a huff and looked down upon Garzah, staring down into her startled eyes with her hands on her hips.

"Well? You having fun yet?"

She pushed herself up to her feet, not particularly paying attention for Garzah's answer, as she moved to stand over the weightlifter and reach down to grab her by the throat...
