Family Matters

It was like Christmas had come early for Shad who silently prayed his wife would take the opportunity. He had almost thought that she had blown their chance, but now...well, he would wait and see.

Rebecca continued to smile as she contemplated his offer. "You know what, your on Kyo. I have faced Makie but now I want to see how I measure up against both halves. And if we get a title shot, so much the better."

Kyo smiled at Rebecca's enthusiasm. "If that's a challenge, then I accept!" he replied. "I'll happily take you on then, whether it be here, or in the ring. Whatever time or place you choose, I'll be more than ready to face you."

Makie, of course, made no comment and did nothing to interrupt her brother. Instead, unnoticed by either Kyo or Rebecca, she would glare at Shad, looking to see what he would make of all of this, and ready to counter any challenges he might decide to make...

Shad caught that death glare Makie was leveling his way and return it with a cocky grin of his own. It was academic at this point anyway. He may not have gotten a shot right away but he was confident in his wife since she was just as strong alone as with him around. So he just grinned at her, letting the younger girl know that he was pretty sure he had won.

As much as Rebecca wanted to fight him here and now, she was still too banged up from her Spar with Makie to face him at her best today. "Alright, Shad and I will go talk to admin right now, see what the earliest is we can get this match put on the card"
