Lucy Grange vs Lita - The Reckoning

The crowd gasped and hollered in shock from Lucy's rabbit punching here, but truth be told it just made Lucy feel all the more validated in her belief system here. She didn't give two shits about anything resembling honourable martial combat now, if her smirk was anything to go by here the former Brit's vindication was clear on her here. The ref did per Lita's request call her out on her dirty tactic, to which Lucy would simply put her arms up and say "Mea Culpa sorry my bad."

Of course the herald of destruction was lying through her teeth there but she figured a partial attempt would get the ref off her back at least. Now that Lita was reeling a bit there, it was time to try and put her through the paces a bit. Since coming back to wrestling with her heel turn Lucy had taken to looking at more darker approaches in matches, that rabbit punch was just a brief taste of what could be in store for Ms Grange's opponent should she come up short here tonight. 

Ms Grange would get in close towards Lita and grab her nearest arm and heft her up a bit, leaving Lita's upper body chest exposed. Perfect, Lucy would go from a smirk to a grin as she started trying to bring in some stiff knee shots right into Lita's ribcage! There was nothing fancy or unique here, just one shot and again to wear Lita down if she didn't get moving!

'Yeah, sure you are.' Lina said to herself after Lucy response to the referee. Going into it, neither Lina nor Lita expected Lucy to be how she was before when the thought of them going at it was teased and wanted by many when it was the others in both groups who were in-ring opponents. Still, if Lucy or anyone else felt the need to bend the rules in the favour, at the very least Lina could call them out on their bs and by her people some time, even if a dq was unlikely.

By the time Lita could make out where she was after being struck in the back of head cheaply, the first knee strike caught her a second later. Lina turned away briefly after the third strike took Lita down to a knee, not falling completely as Lucy still had a hold of the arm. She turned back around in time to see Lita get tagged with a fourth one, which caused Lina to sweat a bit.

With what Lucy's done so far, Lita was able to process that more would be coming, but she felt like she needed a few seconds to regain herself, but Lucy has a good grip on her and she wasn't going anywhere. If Lucy decided to keep the knee shots coming, Lita would attempt reach out to grab it, and counter with something resembling a dragon screw of sorts.

Since returning to the ring Lucy had very much taken to a new approach in wrestling in the ring, she'd adopted a much more.......no nonsense style. While as a face Ms Grange often took an acrobatic and high flying style where she'd usually be trying to bounce around all over the place, here however Lucy employed dirty tactics and was more grounded. Perhaps due to her spiteful nature simply meaning she wanted nothing more than to lash out at those around her, Lucy didn't even care about winning here. All Lucy would love is to just take out her frustrations from all that shit she had to put up with and grin and bare it for the sake of some country that chewed her up and spat her out.

However such a mindset would likely take some adjustments in the ring, namely because it gave Lucy tunnel vision as she dished out the strikes towards Lita here. Each time a knee was hit Lucy yelled something like "Cunt. Bitch. Eat it." however Lucy got so focused on this negative trail of thought that she didn't consider the possibility that Lita could try and catch the knee. Drawing on some classical wrestling experience Lita quickdrawed and managed to catch Lucy, managing to get hold of her. Lucy's eyes widened as she was drawn back to reality here.

"Shit!" Lucy yelled out, hopping on the spot briefly before being taken to the mat with a rough dragon screw. Ms Grange grunted as her back crashed onto the mat, the move caught her off guard there but she attempted to scramble towards the ropes though having been rocked like a dragon it was easier said than done~

The counter gave Lita a moment to recover from the onslaught dished out by Lucy a moment ago, not a lot of time, but enough to get thinking offensively rather than being on the defensive. Some have said Lita's got pretty resourceful legs, some may say just pretty, or both, but she couldn't deny what Lucy was using hers for, she could still feel it, but not as much as Lucy scrambled for the ropes.

Lita didn't want to take too much time and waste a possible advantage coming out of her recovery time, and when Lucy got to the ropes to make a move back up Lita would reach out to grab at least one of her legs, if both weren't in a position to be grabbed, and yank her back away from the ropes and closer to the middle of the ring.

Lucy was no stranger to being knocked down and be put on the mat here, it came with her in ring experience and her usual style of going about fighting. Lita managed to get a lucky grab and take Ms Grange down to the mat that was all, the brat wasn't going to be rid of Lucy so easily and so early just because she managed to take the former Brit down there. In fact already Lucy was gritting her teeth and hissing out like a coiled python as she was taken for a little trip away from the ropes and towards the middle of the ring. 

Lucy wasn't panicking however, relying more on playing it cool as Lita tried to drag her out. Ryan had done similar things in their regular sparring sessions and Ms Grange had learned from the amount of times he made her suffer as a result, the herald of destruction muttered out things like "Bloody git, I'm gonna make sure your battered and bruised from all this......" prior to her heel turn Lucy would have likely been more passive, let her opponent take her to the middle and let them perform something and respond back the best she could. 

Now however Lucy would be more than happy to simply lash out at the world with her no longer constrained hatred, so Lita was going to have to deal with a scrappy lass here with Lucy using her free leg to violently kick out at Lita and hopefully clip her somewhere enough to make Lita work quicker if she wanted to do something to get a leg up with no pun intended!

Lita managed to hold on to the one leg while dodging the other one. One of them did tag her on the thigh, which caused her to unintentionally tighten her existing grip while slanting over a bit. She was more annoyed by Lucy's mouth than her kick, which caused Lita to forget what she was going to do.

Unfortunately for Lucy though, something else came to mind and Lita was quick to act on the thought. Another one of Lucy's kicks did tag Lita in the side of the arm, but Lita did eventually manage to grab hold of the legit that was giving her some trouble and wrapped them up with her arms hooked between them. Without saying a word Lita bent up, as if she was going for a texas cloverleaf, but instead she rose quickly and flung Lucy into the air before driving her down for a powerbomb before turning her over while holding on and finishing with a texas cloverleaf.

If she managed to pull that off it would take away Lina's thoughts of asking Lucy if she felt like saying anything now and she'd instead wonder if Lita is exerting a bit more energy than she should at this point.

Lucy since coming back to the ring had been letting anger guide her thoughts mainly, in her objective to cause as much chaos around herself that she could possibly make it did at times make her less perceptive to the bigger picture. Case in point here with her struggles against Lita, the opponent was ring savvy and knew the mat game too. Lucy's kneejerk reaction was more of a direct hinderance than a help as it were here because Lita was able to put her ring talent to good use. Lita seemed to have attempted a submission attempt, which Lucy would respond by preparing to slip one of her legs out and kick Lita right in the rump.

However Lita was simply performing a subtle feint, because before Lita was to properly turn around to cinch the cloverleaf in the Japanese lady would swiftly roll around with Ms Grange on the mat again. Putting her much taller frame to good use Lita would suddenly and swiftly bring up Lucy and slam her down hard with a powerbomb, earning a loud yell of pain from the herald of destruction there! Now that the wind had been taken out of Lucy's sails it made locking in the actual cloverleaf a lot more easier.

"Argggghhh!!!!! Motherfuckingrimjob!" Lucy hissed out as she tried to ignore the pain shooting through her back and into her legs as best she could, but god damn this was like being being slathered with cooking oil and put out over the summer sun. Lucy drew on her wells of hate once again, clawing at the mat before trying to inch her way into the ropes. The dreams of spite and anger serving to fuel her veins here as she fought to stay in it!

Feeling Lucy trying to inch her way to safetly, Lita would pull her back if she felt too much progress on Lucy's part for her liking. As she was about to pull up a bit, she suddenly lost her balance and fell forward. She managed to get a hand out to prevent herself from full out face-planting, but that was ehough for her to let go of Lucy.

Lina looked concerned when she saw what was a clear upper hand for Lita suddenly vanish. She did have a feeling why, but still to see it happened wasn't visually appealing. Lita stood up and wondered what happened. "You alright?" Lina asked her. As far as Lita knew she was alright, not processing she had a little body hiccup when the rest of her caught up with her sudden jolt of a move moments earlier. She gave a slight nod towards Lina before turning around and her attention back towards Lucy.

The crowd didn't seem to notice that there was another individual making their way toward the ring. The intruder was dressed in a sleek, form fitting black tracksuit, a mask covering his face to hide his identity from any eagle eyed viewers!

This was the perfect moment to strike, with both fighters seemingly down, however briefly! Sliding under the bottom rope, the intruder stood up behind Lita, raising a hand in a gesture as if commanding the woman to get to her feet. Their leg twitched, bouncing slightly as the muscles tensed up.

The moment she would face this new player, the stranger turned deftly on one foot, bringing his heel up to CRACK her right in the jaw! The impact made the crowd lose their mind, as the stranger looked on their work. Dropping down, the masked one rolled Lita onto her back, hooking up both legs for the pin!!!

"Wait what?" Just as Lina got word from Lita that things were fine, she saw someone sneaking up behind Lita. Before Lita could be warned about it she turned right into, thinking she's see her downed opponent, a spinning foot with a decent amount of speed behind it, catching her square in the jaw, dropping her instantly.

Was this Lucy's doing? Were Ryan and/or John watching over the situation? Before that or any other thought could enter her mind Lina saw the masked one pinning Lita. The referee wanted an explanation to the person's appearance and get him to leave, however a second referee, which followed the unknown guy out, counted the pin.

By the time Lina was able to process what was going on, the three count was made and Lita's reign of 24/7 Champion came to an end.
