Alaina Sanders vs. Kozue Kaburagi - Long Time, No See

Kozue couldn’t say she’d given much thought to it before, but Alaina had pretty good butt. Not Mariko Ishii level, few could touch that level, but up there. She couldn’t find a muscle on her body that she didn’t look like it was carved out of marble, and the two biggest ones were no exception. Fine, sculpted, great definition all the way.

Just a random thought that came out of nowhere. It might’ve had something to do with having that ass rammed against her face at highspeeds.

Her butt made for a good battering ram, smashing Kozue’s skull up against the pads with her full weight behind the blow. Kozue rocked forth after the impact, eyes wide open and glassed, before she flopped over to the side in an unmoving heap.

Alaina pulled off her hip attack moving at ramming speed! She stepped away from the corner and pulled Kozue away from the corner by that ankles. She wanted to keep the pace slow so if Kozue went on a run again Alaina would be fresh and as ready as possible to try to keep up with the spitfire. Alaina attempted to lift Kozue to a sitting position while moving behind her before wrapping her arm around Kozue's head from the front as the amazon attempted to lock in a dragon sleeper hold! Alaina had recently learned this one and wanted to give it a try against a woman who was crafty enough to escape in ways Alaina would need to learn to defend against.

This again was a gamble but one that Alaina had to take to truly test herself against a craft opponent!

Ooof. Keep it together, keep it together.

Kozue was doing her best to shake off the hits she was taking, but it was no small thing with a woman like Alaina Sanders. This was the tough thing when it came to match like this, with her taking on the heavy hitters - it was a race to see if she could whittle them down by inches before they took her out by feet, and sooner or later, she had to deal with the heavy damage. Just a fact.

Alaina seemed to know this was her moment, too, as she wasted no time in coming back in and putting the pressure back on her, dragging her to the center of the ring. Kozue came back to life along the way and squirmed, trying to get free, but it was too little late - the Amazon wrapped her up tight, seized her neck, and pulled her into the tight hold. Dragon Sleeper. Good choice.

Kozue’s flexibility came in handy here, letting her bend back far, stretch out better than most would’ve, but there were limits to everything and she was being pushed to them at a rapid pace. For now, she just tried to focus on surviving the assault, holding on, but she knew that wouldn’t last forever.

Alaina was relieved, and a bit surprised as she successfully locked in the hold! She tightened her arm, tensing up as she applied pressure, trying to lean back to apply more by the moment. The amazon was trying to do all she could to keep Kozue slowed down knowing that the ninjette on a roll was a scary foe that could easily take Alaina down wearing away at the amazon. This was Alaina's best bet to keep that from happening. She leaned back further applying more pressure and gritting her teeth. She had to really do a number on Kozue to do any telling damage to her.

In the back of her mind she was also hoping that there wasn't some acrobatic counter coming, because Alaina could only imagine it would be an unexpected counter as well as a painful one.

Don’t panic.

That was the key, here - don’t panic. Even though Kozue was being pulled apart like taffy, even though she was in the grips of an effective wrestling submission, even though it was being applied by one of the best wrestlers in Friction, bar none…don’t panic.

That was what Kozue kept repeating to herself, even as her neck continued to get cranked in the absolute wrong direction. It wasn’t quite to the point where she was thinking about submitting, but it was far closer than she wanted to be, and there was always the threat of getting knocked out if Alaina kept cranking up the pressure.

So, okay. Take stock. The Dragon Sleeper was a tough move, but Alaina hadn’t done the body scissor variation. This made it hard to get to the ropes, but it also meant her body was free to move for the most part, so she did. Kozue planted one foot on the floor, then another, and pushed her way up, standing and getting her opponent to rise with her. Still captive in the hold, but higher now. Once they were up, Kozue reached up and grabbed Alaina’s shoulders, gripping her tight, going for all the support she could find.

3, 2, 1…

Kozue brought her lower body up fast, curling up while Alaina still had her in the Dragon Sleeper - a move that would send her knee flying towards the Amazon’s face with all the speed and force she could muster in this position.

Alaina was right that Kozue was agile enough to pull off counters she hadn't thought of.... she really regret being right in this case. The knee came flying up and Alaina didn't fully register it until it smashed her right in the eye! "UUUUGH!" Alaina groaned as she let go, falling back and covering her face with her hands. Alaina kicked the mat in pain and the kick had done its job leaving the large amazon laid out on her back putting Kozue back in the drivers seat with one quick, hard hitting counter!

Alaina knew that this was a very bad spot to be in, but right now she couldn't do much about it.....

Kozue fell to her knees the moment Alaina released her, breathing hard and sucking in huge puffs of air. There were no words to describe just how close to the edge she’d gotten there, how near she’d gotten to being knocked clean out. Her vision was still hazy, her throat was sore, her world was foggy, everything was askew and offkilter. If she were being safe, she would take a minute to recoup before she did anything serious.

But safety was never tops on Kozue’s priority list. Damn sure not when she had an opponent behind her, on her back, open and vulnerable. Screw that.

Kozue pushed to her feet, moving wobbly at first, before she got it together and straightened up. She took a quick look behind her to gauge the distance, then threw her body backwards, flipping away from the crowd in a familiar movement. Instead of coming down on Alaina with her chest, however, Kozue added some extra momentum, giving her enough force to keep spinning past that and come down on the Amazon with her back - a standing moonsault senton.

With Alaina unable to see things clearly she had to go by what she heard. Kozue and her light footsteps meant that Alaina looked up all together too late to do anything about what was coming. She saw Kozue when she was just about to land and the amazon didn't even have time to brace her body or tense up for the impact! "OOOMPH!" Alaina groaned out before wheezing in agony as the wind was knocked right out of her! Her torso was hurting and she was struggling to breathe as things kept slipping away with the speedy Kozue retaking control of the match!

Kozue’s landing wasn’t anywhere near as soft as she thought it would be - Alaina was probably good at a lot of things, but being a landing pad wasn’t one of them. It actually knocked the breath of her, despite her opponent taking the brunt of the damage, and it made her extra glad that she’d got for that extra oomph into the rotation to make it a senton. This was not a body she wanted to land on with her stomach.

But, hey, it had been effective, no doubt about that. Effective enough to win? One way to know that.

”Excuse me, just gonna pin your shoulders for a little bit…” Kozue rolled over, grabbed hold of the tree trunk Alaina called a leg, and pressed against her chest, coming down on her for the pin.

”1…!”

"Ugggh..... No.... not yet...." Alaina groaned as she weakly kicked her free leg and flopped her arms around while Kozue went for the pin! Alaina tried to get her arms underneath Kozue while she was down and still gasping for breath.

"TWO!"

Alaina groaned and tried to literally bench press Kozue up and off of her to break the pin not quite throwing but using brute strength to get Kozue to roll away from her. Alaina needed the distance to try to get up and she knew she was still in a precarious spot. Choose was faster and would be up to her feet before Alaina despite the best efforts of the amazon to fight through the pain wracking her body. She would have to be ready because she knew Kozue was going to come at her firing!
