Summer Splash 2020: Friction World Title: Adrian Kytes(c) vs Death Bunny: Hell in a Cell

"Ragdoll" is a term people toss about a lot nowadays, but their really was no more apropos words to describe the manner in which the B.C. commando was being treated. Although speaking of being "tossed about", Adrian could relate to that phrase as well after becoming acutely acquainted with the steel fence swaying somewhat after she'd been launched straight into it. The Bunny-Eared Tyrant and a stiff European Uppercut clocking her right in the jaw would greet the champion unsteadily reeling off from the fence, and soon afterward accompanied by Death clamping onto her brown hair and grimly marching them both back towards the ring. Where Adrian would be tucked and rolled back into by another hand tugging on the lower back of her black singlet, with D.B. entering herself by hiking onto the apron and stepping through the middle and top rope.

The audience, oh so amused by Adrian's previous tumble to the floor was given another treat as the side of Death Bunny's elbow clattered into the champion's jaw, sending her straight back down to the badly-padded ringside base with a thud as he shoulders smacked down. But the Bunny wasn't done there, oh no.

It was one of those weird quirks about Hell In A Cell matches: Do pinfalls have to take place in the ring or could they be anywhere? If it was the former then it could just mean that the Bunny wanted to end the match as she hoisted the former cosplayer and chucked her back into the ring and letting her roll limply towards the middle, if it was the latter then... well it didn't give the best impression as to what evil intentions the challenger had for Adrian.

Witnessing the reviled champion being battered about like a black and white ping-pong ball brought the audience, and perhaps half the locker-room, all manner of cathartic glee as Death did what she does best. But she remained all business throughout it all and continued stalking Adrian with a grim inevitably to her gait as if she were the literal embodiment to her namesake. The tempo of the match creeping back down as D.B. reached down to heave the champion back to some semblance of verticality through a doubled handful of her auburn hair, before hooking one of her arms over Adrians left shoulder with D.B's other hand slotting between her thighs for a grip on her backside. One seamless upheaval later, Ade would be hauled upward and twirled about for a booming powerslam...

"Ngghhh..." Adrian grunted as she was once again forced to her feet via a handful of her long locks "Stop with the hair..." the champion whined. If the referee was worth a damn she'd be close to throwing out this match with how often Death Bunny was going for the hair. Oh wait, no DQ in the cell. Well shit, something to keep in mind. Although what the Bullet Club commando really needed to keep in mind was how to brace for impact as she was hoisted upside down and thrown back to the canvas with a small splat.

*Ah...so she does speak...* Death internally mused after finally hearing this mute champion say something since her fate was sealed via the ring bell, even if it was just her mewling about her hair for God's sake. Still an uncharacteristic occurrence for someone whose got a mouth that belongs in a circus, but D.B. imagined she'd be hearing a whole lot more sounds come from out of her before the deed was done tonight. Death sprinting off towards the side immediately after dunking Adrian down for the Grim One to come rebounding off the ropes, and doing like her other namesake by hopping remarkably high into the air for an attempted leg-drop accompanied with a pin attempt by hooking the back of Adrian's thigh.

"1!"

With AFW's usual fanbase, there was probably someone who wanted to be crushed by Death Bunny's thighs but from Adrian's perspective it was anything but a pleasurable experience, feeling the Mad Hopper's thigh come crashing down on her chest with enough weight behind it to make her whole body jolt underneath the leg drop. Unlike other victims of the big leg throughout the years, Adrian still had enough fight left in her to get her shoulder up at the count of "Two!" meaning the Bunnymaniacs' celebration was going to have to wait. She might have been getting beaten pillar to post but the champion still had some resilience in her.

Unperturbed in her thwarted pin ambitions, Death expressed scant few signs of despondency and merely hung loose. Smooth and creepily fan-worshiped thigh shifted up at an angle over the swiveled champion so D.B. could take a moment to prop her arm atop her knee. The Dead Woman knew that each derailed pin attempt was a taxing endeavor for the champion, and whittling down this woman like this was a chess move intended to play out in the long run. Arising upwards came with Adrian feeling her arm being tugged in the same direction. But that assistance back to her feet came with a torqued price as Death twisted in an arm wringer with a pelted clobber to her shoulder to boot before starting to march them both towards a turnbuckle ahead. At least Adrian got her wish for D.B. to stop targeting her hair, but D.B. wouldn't be surprised if she started bitching bout her arm now...

Well Death Bunny had listened to her, the challenger was no longer attempting to make the champion bald when she dragged Adrian off her ass and back up to her feet, she just wished that it wasn't at the expense of her arm instead. What the Grim Hopper lacked in Finesse with her arm wrench, she made up for with the stinging power as her fist came down right on Adrian's shoulder, leaving the champ little option but to scurry along with her if she didn't want to lose a limb.

Those in the AFW universe who noticed Death's maneuvering's early had already started to go into preliminary cheers before she'd even stepped one boot onto the turnbuckle. And by the time she was balancing herself on the ropes a fever-pitch was in affect. Using Adrian's angled arm as an unwilling aid, Death wound up performing a seamless tight-rope walk from one corner towards the middle of the rope. A feat of grace and acrobatic dexterity that showcased the type of unnatural athlete The Phenom was...before the theatrics were ended with one hell of a sledging strike brought down on the back of Adrian's shoulder from her "New School" signature maneuver.

There was nothing Adrian wanted to do more than knock the big woman off her tightrope walk but with how Bunny had her arm all twisted up moving in closer was going to just hurt. Besides: a fighter her size was running the risk of naturally losing balance and slipping anyway, it wasn't as though she was holding on to anything for balance-

Fuck.

"Fuck!" Adrian grunted out as once again the Grim Hopper's first slammed down on her shoulder blade, this time with the extra help of gravity making it all the more painful as the combination of the clubbing blow and arm wrench managed to flip the already doubled-over champion from the impact.
