Summer Splash 2020: Friction World Title: Adrian Kytes(c) vs Death Bunny: Hell in a Cell

Death remained inert aside from having the overturned champion slump her arm off, whose hand would clench into a fist before she started dragging her fatigued carcass upward. At first coming to situate herself upon her knees, gloved hands settled on her hips as she gazed at the night sky and breathed the fire out of her lungs. Refusing to let the tragedy of the moment deter her and using every iota of her self-control to not let her rage hinder her judgments. She started soldiering up at a lethargic pace, shoving herself off of her good leg to a hobbled stance clearly hampering her movements...and yet she still seemed in better shape than the champion. Whom she'd begin hauling upward by one clawed hand tugging up on her disheveled auburn hair.

Sluggish though her motions were, they were as steadfast as when Death first had the steel cage's door locked behind her. An undying sense of resolute determination fueling her macabre ambitions to slam the coffin door down on Adrian's championship reign and return from the nether-realm whence Death came with a shimmering title belt dragged along the fogged floor beside her. Debilitated though the Dead Woman was with only one good leg to leverage her hobbled posture on, she was still somehow in better fighting shape than the seemingly decimated champion. Who appeared even more dead to the world than the actual Reaper hauling her upward, and who spat back at the inevitability of her situation by quite literally spewing a cloud of green mist directly into D.B.'s eyesight. Repelling Death instantly into a backwards shamble, shielding her eyes with a graveled roar and in a state of utter disarray...

Whatever noxious brew this was, it reignited all of the scorching sensations in Death's eyes that was previously the result of pocket sand. Except now exponentially exasperated as chemicals specifically designed to disorientate were thrown into the excruciating mix. Warbled vision and searing facial burns came about from Adrian perpetrating one of the oldest deceitful ploys in the wrestling playbook, a fresh shade of green splattered across Death's lavender locks and repulsed scowl when the world became even more disorientated when what felt an arm snaking around her battered leg from behind propelled her backwards.


Trussed up into a bowled over ball of squirming outrage, Death resisted what felt like an inexplicable mountain of leverage keeping her huddled over. Until that explanation dawned on her from noticing her denim shorts being snatched for what would have been an illegitimate pin attempt, one that would have been dutifully broken up had the referee not been in the exact right positioning to miss it entirely. Summoning whatever scrounged up strength she could muster, Death scarcely unbalanced herself enough to undo the accursed pin attempt her damned self, tossing herself over and positioned on her knees when-

-Death heard what she'd thought was a hallucination, until she gawked her one cleaned eye up at the referee already collecting the title belt to the all encompassing sounds of the Bullet Club theme and abject booing. For now she remained speechless and motionless, a slight dilation to her eye...

A cacophonous raucous was the chaotic ballad playing in the background to the unforeseen finale of the night's main event. Unforeseen being another word for outright gob-smacking in terms of an ending already being typed up by online wrestling journalists as highway robbery in it's purest essence. The grunge guitar riffs of the Bullet Club theme being accompanied by the jeering spitefulness of an audience crestfallen in being denied the sight of witnessing the maligned champion relinquish the championship title which she'd only claimed and defended three times now through her encyclopedic knowledge of unscrupulous wrestling tactics. A sandwiched amalgamation of twice blinding techniques and weaponed assaults blending with blind luck to bring about the commando's victory.

"There you go...eeeeasy now, how's that feel?" Medical personnel tended to the floored champion with expert care and copious ice pack's soothing the back of the commando's neck, which they concentrated the majority of their curative knowledge on. And they very well should have after witnessing the champion getting piledriven skull first on top of a steel chair. The two EMT's gingerly assisting the victorious bullet commando back to her feet with her arms hooked behind their necks now swarmed around her, the dutiful referee presenting the championship belt in front of Adrian and waiting for her to take it herself. Whether Adrian would do so was irrelevant though...not when a shadowed revenant with bunny ears would strike down the champion from behind with a fully cocked back steel chair thunderously brought upon Ade with unholy fury.

Bunny-eared bloodlust incarnate towered over everyone felled by Death's sole swing from a decimated chair that hit the canvas once D.B.'s grip eased. The Avatar Of Death blinded in one eye from direct contact with the poisonous mist, but seeing the world for what it was through her dilated remaining eye. A dawning clairvoyance burgeoning upon her as she breathed the fire out of her lungs, only hearing a high-pitched pinging sound until the warbled words of the referee beside her started being comprehended

"...ome on Death, this isn't you!!! You taught her a lesson, now that's enough!!! The fans love you now, all the kids look up to-HURK!!!" Finishing her sentence would be quite the task considering that Death was now throttling her neck and crunching her windpipe, one hoist and hellacious plummet later would see that referee become chokeslammed into unconsciousness. All of the other officials and EMT's scattering to the wind and back outside the cage after acknowledging that none of them get paid enough for this.

Feral brutality being all that propelled the unrelenting Reaper onward. Clawed hands latched on to Adrian's auburn hair, wrenching the commando off of the canvas and affixing her head between Death's thighs. At first leaving the champion there as the psychotic reaper scratched her hand down her seething visage. Dead weight or not, Adrian would be hauled upward to be seated on Death's shoulders. And by tugging on the sides of her tights for further elevation, would be meteorically thrust downward onto the steel chair that started it all in a massive Last Ride powerbomb...
