Dark Reign: A Snake Enters the Garden

Berenice blocked the jabs, and figured that they were ruse, and so she kept her eyes on the woman's arms, and when she was proven right. She blocked the hook that came with her arm, the Impact sending chills down her spine as the fist bounced off her arm. She dashed forwards as the hook impacted, and threw a sledgehammer of an elbow at the woman's jaw, driving it from underneath her chin in a swift, vicious movement. After this, if it hit, she would go to knee her in the gut and headbutt her in the nose, putting faith in her years of head injury and damage that hardened her skull to handy, being used like a battering ram against a locked Castle gate.

"You know what, that almost sounds nice, will I get a pretty collar and shit too?" she asked, chuckling and grinning almost murderously at Mercury as she went on a counter offensive, The Rush of fighting increasing ever more, sending a chill straight down her spine as she advanced on her opponent.

Hyacinth was staggered after taking the brunt of Ashley’s attack and was staggered a bit when she kicked off of her. A frown spread across her face as her adrenaline began pumping through her veins and she prepared herself for the next attack. Ashley was fast, but Hyacinth was just as fast, narrowly avoiding her foe’s attack before she lunged forward in an attempt to catch Ashley with a clothesline. Should she connect, she’d shuffle backwards and then superkick her in the face as she tried to get up before turning her attention to Amber and the other fight going on. Though it seemed Berenice had it under control, having an extra pair of arms and legs lashing out at someon couldn’t hurt, but first she needed to check and see if Amber was alright.

Ashley missed her lethal kick, her target moving to the side before it could connect. Hyacinth quickly retaliated, smashing Ashley’s chest with a hard and fast clothesline! The impact sent the smaller woman rolling, but the drug in her system made the pain fade as fast as it affected her system. Already, Ashley was back on her feet and dashing towards Hyacinth. Her superkick flew over the redhead as she slipped behind her, Ashley’s arms wrapping around Hyacinth’s waist as she attempted to lift her up and suplex her into the floor.

Mercury was a bit annoyed none of her strikes seemed to be landing, but Berenice was interesting enough not to anger her too much. Her fellow musclehead moved in to drive a fist into Mercury’s abs, but the fiend was quick to block the strike. She couldn’t do the same with the headbutt, Berenice’s skull bouncing off her own, leaving the foul beauty to hiss in pain.

“What, are you into that sorta stuff? If you get a collar, its gonna have your name on it, with a few sparkles here and there but otherwise…” Mercury threw a savage knee attack looking to cave her opponent’s ribs in, “You’ll just be like a common dog!”

Hyacinth was sure her precision was as accurate as a laser when she sent the kick towards the red head, but clearly, she had underestimated her for’s speed. She could feel the girl’s arms wrap around her waist and begin to lift her off the ground, the purple beauty stunned at such an incredible feat of strength, but it was to be short lived as she came crashing down into the ground HARD.

Amber looked on in total horror at her friend being womanhandled in such a way, but her shock slowly turned to anger as she looked up at Ashley. Her frown remained, but her eyebrows furrowed downwards and she glared daggers into the girl that had just done harm to one of her only friends, slowly crouching down low into a defensive stance before suddenly bursting forward, a fist coming up towards her jawline before a knee would lash out towards the girl’s midsection, attempting to knock the wind (and potentially this girl’s breakfast) out of her before she began her assault.

Berenice Avoided the knee, dodging back out of its range. After her foot touched the ground she heard a thud from behind her. A quick check pushed her worst fears to the top of her thoughts, Hyacinth was down. Berenice's left eye twitched violently as she let out a loud, savage growl, glaring at the Brute in front of her. No more playing around, not anymore. There was a good chance they were here for Amber, if not her, Hyacinth. That being the case, She couldn't afford to hold anything back. These two were the first people she'd come to like, and come to get on with, despite a rocky introduction.

She glared knives at the brute, baring her sharp teeth and an aura of violence almost seemed to emanate from her being. A part of her she kept locked away on purpose had forcibly broken confinement. Harming Hyacinth had given it the strength it had needed. Berenice darted forwards with beastly roar of rage that could make windows vibrate, feinting a right Hook, then aiming a bone breaking knee at the woman's ribs and should that make contact she'd follow up with a vicious elbow at her nose. She'd Continue her assault if all went well, with a flurry of aggressive punches aiming for weaknesses in the body, and though it left her open, she cared not, she couldn't really in her current mindset. A Berserker's rage clouded her mind as she charged forwards at her opponent.

During her barrage of attacks she would growl and mutter to herself like a madwoman, putting every single part of her mind to task in pummelling the woman before her, and protecting those she cared for, to make up for those she had caused trouble for.

Mercury was looking forward to working over Berenice in the most brutal way possible! She was doing well enough to last this long, but the thug was sure that if she kept putting the pressure on she would get the blonde woman in a mistake and put her down permanently. Well, she could, if the bitch would just sit still and TAKE A FUCKING HIT!!! The bitch was moving around like a slippery snake, dodging just short of every attack she was throwing at her. The entire experience was infuriating!

Once again, the gal jumped back, making Mercury have to chase after her, throwing another punch to take some of her anger out on her foe.

“Stop fuckin running! I thought you said you were a fighter! Take a punch already!”

Suddenly a heavy THUD came from behind them, Mercury looking over in time to see her hooded partner take Hyacinth down like she was nothing more than a sack of potatoes. That drug must have been the real deal, the pipsqueak simply standing over her beaten foe, watching Amber with those creepy eyes of hers.

Whatever, that wasn’t Mercury’s problem. She had a bimbo to dispose of—

”What the?”

When the thug turned back around, the blonde bimbo looked like she had taken some of the drugs the red head was taken. She was practically feral looking, her breathing deep and enraged. She didn’t even look like she was the same person.

Berenice came in as quick as a flash, faster than her foe could react. She feinted a right hook, and in a panic, Mercury put her defenses up in preparation to intercept the attack. Instead, Berenice’s knee came up and slammed into her rips!

“GUAGH!!!”

Mercury was about to hurl, her arms wrapping around her bruised ribs. Her eyes bulged as a searing pain ran through her body, but that all went away as an elbow CRASHED into her cheek, throwing her into a deep, empty darkness of unconsciousness.

Ashley stood over Hyacinth. Her face was as blank and cold as when she started the fight. The second Hyacinth was dropped, the girl’s eyes turned towards Amber. It appeared the Irish girl was rather protective of her companion, and valiantly tried to defend her against the strange attacker that simply peered at her with a look of pure apathy.

Before her fist or knee strike could land, Ashley’s arms turned into quick moving blurs. In an instant, she snatched Amber’s limbs out from the air as though it were nothing. It was here that Amber could see exactly how empty Ashley was…she didn’t even seem human any more…

Berenice’s primal roar did not go unnoticed by the drugged woman. Her empty eyes snapped towards the beast. She only faintly seemed to notice that Mercury was out of commission. It mattered little. Ashley clearly didn’t feel anything at the moment.

With a grunt, the tiny girl would seize Amber, pulling her in close before throwing her at Berenice! As Amber stumbled, Ashley would dash around her, looking to score a shot in Berenice’s back and get in some early damage to the bronze hulk!

Amber wasn’t surprised when her attack failed, but what did shock her was how close Amber was to her assailant. She peered into her eyes for the briefest of moments before she was suddenly thrown back into Berenice, causing her to give a small grunt and stumble, but the second she regained her footing, she would move to intercept Ashley. Moving almost as quickly as the high flyer, she sprung at her, attempting to catch her mid air with a clothesline. Should she connect, she would pull the girl up quickly in as side head lock before lifting her leg and then dropping forward to deliver a devastating headlock ddt. Should it connect, she would then lift the girl back up and drive a knee into her midsection, the shy and timid girl now being replaced by pure unadulterated rage as she would look to deal as much damage to her foe as possible, “You...you hurt...my friend...you hurt my friend...YOU HURT MY FRIEND!” She screamed before she would finally pull a fist back before looking to bring it down into the face of Ashley and finally put her out of commission should her combination of strikes find their mark.

Berenice allowed Amber to bump into her body, using her hands to help her keep her footing. She growled at the smaller girl, sharing the same hatred she had for mercury as she helped Amber. As she did so, she felt a blow in her back, causing her to sway forwards slightly. She realised a girl that size shouldn't be hitting that hard, though the rage was still flooding her system and so she swung a fist round behind her, letting out a roar of anger as she did so. She looked insane, saliva flew from her mouth as she spun, her hair was a mess and her eyes radiated violence and an urge to harm, maybe even so far as to kill.

"I'm going to make you wish you were never fucking born!" She yelled as she swung her fist swiftly.

Amber was quick...but Ashley was simply quicker. The tiny redhead bounced over the tiny Irsih girl’s attempt to clothesline her and nailed the larger woman with her kick. Berenice growled like a bear, and Amber was quickly degrading into a wild beast herself! It was only thanks to the enclosed nature of the haunted house as well as Ashley’s heightened abilities that the girl was able to maneuver as well as she could. Like a flea, Ashley was constantly bouncing around! When her kick finished impacting off Berenice’s back, the red head pushed off her and into a wall. Using the wall, she shot to the floor, and from there, she lunged towards Amber.

Ashley looked about ready to seize Amber up into her arms. Her blank face didn’t really hold anything in it other than some hidden mission given to her by someone. Her hands grabbed Amber’s shoulders, but were just as quickly taken off after the irish girl popped Ashley in the nose. The speedster stumbled backwards a bit, a mi of green and red liquid leaking out of her nose. The small woman would suddenly hold her damaged nose, small bolts of tears appearing around her eye as she suddenly made a sharp, almost whimpering sound.

“Owwww! Wha waz dat fo?” The once stoic woman said in a nasally voice.

“Hey Kassidy...You ever wonder why things are like they are? Like...why do bears have toes?”

“What?”

“I mean like...What if they didn’t? What if they had claws...like, sloths or something?”

Kassidy had long since finished her kettle corn, but Brook was just starting on her desserts. Judging by the way the conversation was going, Brook must have started in on her Bear Claws. Soon she would hear shit about elephant ears, or something.

“Are those morons still in the haunted house? Jesus, did they die of heat stroke in there?! I’m gonna go check it out...”

“But….But Kassidy! I told you...I don’t like Doctors.”

“Did I say I needed a babysitter? Just sit on your fatass and eat like you’ve been doing. This fucking place is driving me nuts! I’ll go by myself!”

Amber has turned away from the speedster to tend to Hyacinth, who was only now coming to. She sat up and held her head with a groan as Amber hugged her tightly. She didn’t say a word, only snuggled her face into the crook of Hya’s neck, forcing a pained giggle out of Hyacinth as she patted Amber’s head lightly. Her mood only changed when she saw Ashley and she glared, “Amber stay back, this one is dangerous...” she would start to say, but a simple shake of Amber’s head would cause Hya to look a little bit closer, her eyes widening at the sight of the drug leaking from the red head’s nose, “Oh my, that is interesting...did you do that?” she looked down at Amber, who blushed a little in embarrassment and nodded before laying her head in Hyacinth’s lap. The purple beauty was just about to say something when she spotted a familiar shade of purple entering the fun house, she knew exactly who it was that had just joined the fight...there was no mistaking those psychotic red eyes anywhere, “Kassidy...” Hyacinth muttered, soft enough to be considered a whisper, but loud enough for those near her to hear.
