Yuma Sakurai vs Cicilia De'Reignhardt

The two fighters squared up in the center of the ring, waiting for the next round to start.
"Hey She-hulk, I wonder how a famous family like your's could spit out such a mindless brute like you. Do tell... Could it be that you're adopted?" The dark skinned fighter made sure to make it sound like a genuine question.  
The bell rang and Yuma jumped back, expecting her opponent to continue the chase around the ring. However she just stood there like a statue instead which made Yuma more cautious. The smaller fighter took a sidestep to set up an odd angle for her opponent to defend and then went in for a quick one-two to Cicilia's ribs, before backing off again and hopefully baiting her opponent into another chase. Letting her opponent walk into her punches had worked fairly well so far, so that was what she wanted to do this round as well.

"Originality and boxing aren't your strong suits, are they...?" Cicilia muttered, rolling her eyes at her opponent. "I've heard every joke, comment and insult about me and my family already so... you're not going to get anything out of me like that." Cicilia's voice was flat and hard... her expression of anger simply falling on an apathetic blankness. In fact, inside, the German kind of hoped that she somehow WASN'T related to those tyrants... it would at least help her piece together WHY she was abused and hurt for YEARS by people who supposedly raised her for as long as she could remember! It would give them another reason, a more (if slightly) justifiable reason than the fact she wasn't as good a fighter! Secretly, Cicilia hoped that Yuma's accusation was true...

...She would have nothing to prove to them that way...

Yuma seemed to notice that the German wouldn't follow her this round, Cicilia instead waiting for her foe to come to her. In battle, it was often encouraged to be the aggressor, the one who controlled the pace of the fight had the biggest advantage... but then, such an advantage was meaningless if Yuma couldn't HARM Cicilia! Weak punches, weak insults... and worst of all, an arrogant expression that ruined whatever minor beauty the woman had on her... Cicilia was disgusted to share a ring with such an imp... AFW gave her money... but they weren't paying her enough for this crap... What she would give for someone who knew how to not TALK.... A MUTE even! Yes... But what were the odds such a person lived here...?

Yuma's cautious, perhaps even strategic approach was ultimately a meaningless effort as the boxer simply stepped back as the girl LUNGED for her ribs, the woman's fists passing right in front of the boxer's abs, two lightning quick blows that would've more than likely hurt Yuma's fists more than Cicilia's body.

"...Try a new trick, why don't you." The boxer muttered, following Yuma's movements closely, turning to face her fully with her guard still thoroughly turtled.

Yuma was unsure if her taunt had worked but it did something to her opponent, which she could tell from her change in expression.
Yuma's punches however hit nothing but air, which prompted the tanned fighter to change up her tactic a bit. So far she had been playing it long range, which was safe but not really her strong suit. She tucked in her gloves to her chin and started closing the distance to get into brawling range, using a dempsey roll to avoid any jabs or straights that could have stopped her from doing so. With lightning speed she then went for a gazelle punch with her right, targeting Cicilia's left eye. After that she continued her dempsey roll and used it to throw two very hard hooks to her opponent's ribs. THIS was what she was good at. Her hooks were unnaturally strong for her size, so close range really was where she could do the most damage and she intended to demonstrate that to the mountain of muscles in front of her.

Cicilia only watched, annoyed as Yuma began bouncing around like an ugly, unnerving bobble-head, using her core-muscles to send her upper body FLYING all over the place in Dempsey roll in an effort to mix the Juggernaut up! She had to admit, nobody in Japan seemed to favor the technique, focusing on more straight-forward dodges and blocks... so this set Yuma apart from the other incompetents, she supposed...

...Didn't mean it served her well, however. Once she started "rolling", the Juggernaut simply folding herself behind her arms and waited. The German's defense wasn't the strongest in the world (mainly due to her lack of speed), but her durability allowed her to outlast people like Yuma. Even if a few punches cut through, even if the pinkette was able to pierce her guard... she would have a MUCH harder time making a sizable dent in the boxer's ARMOR!

...And again, Yuma would surprise her, using a blow that nobody bothered to use against her before in AFW!

Cicilia peeked out behind her guard... only for a glove to SLAM into the left side of her head in a QUICK... and surprisingly powerful Gazelle punch, the fist missing just shy of its target, instead slamming into Cicilia's cheek bone! The punch jerked Cicilia's head in the direction it traveled... but hardly did it rattle her! The Juggernaut returning back to her defense, more angered than anything else! Yuma went RIGHT back to her bobbing and weaving like she were a sewing-needle trying to repair a stitch: up and down... In and out... trying to protect her head... and completely neglecting her body.

Yuma LUNGED in for a go at the boxer's ribs and Cicilia stepped inside her punch, Yuma's arm instead LOOPING around her side rather than hammering into it! with her step inward, the Juggernaut RIPPED her fist upwards in an uppercut aimed to SHATTER Yuma's stomach and blow it out her back, Cicilia's muscles tensing, BULGING as she focused her power into them... She was building up for something... One of her signature blows...

The question was if Yuma would be awake to see it!

Yuma's hook missed its target and she barely managed to block the uppercut with her left elbow, leaving a red mark on the spot.
Fuck this bitch has power!!
It blocking that blow left her left arm stunned, which prevented her from completing her combo. Instead she tried another hook with her right, this time aiming to arc around Cicilia's guard and hit her face from the side. if she was lucky, Cicilia wouldn't expect her to use the same punch again and that surprise moment was pretty much all she was relying on, as her left was temporarily out of service to throw any punches. After that, she tried to disengage again and jump out of Cicilia's range.

"Tch." Cicilia growled as her fist plowed NOT up into the woman's stomach, but DRILLED into an arm that had shifted between them in defense of it's owner! The German bared her teeth in frustration as her punch THREW Yuma's arm wide, shattering her guard and leaving a nice, searing red mark in memory of it's presence, the arm folded back into the stance... but appearing weaker... slower... She doubted Yuma was going to use it for anything, defense or attack, for some time... and that meant that side of her was vulnerable...

Instead of returning to her bobble-headed dodges, Yuma instead decided to fire back with her own hook, a WIDE punch that slipped around the German's guard like a snake along a branch! Throughout this fight, the boxer had been gathering energy in her arms, focusing her power for stronger blows... Each punch she threw took a bit of that energy... but most rested in reserve for a moment such as this... Cicilia's arms flexed, their muscles swelling with the power she had been gathering, her sanguine eyes aflame!

Train wrecker...

"PFFFT!"

Yuma's fist SLAMMED into the left side of the German's head, the woman's right hook SMASHING into her jaw! For an instant, life seemed to fade from Cicilia's eyes, stunning her... BEFORE IT ALL SURGED BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, HER HEAD PUSHING BACK against the force that JAMMED into it, PUSHING Yuma's punch back! Cicilia brought her own fist around, the edges of her glove seeming to warp as the air around it could not escape from it's surface fast enough! Yuma tried to retreat to pull back... But the German only followed her as brought her and around, a straight so powerful... it might as well had been considered a lethal weapon!

"PUUUUUUUUUUNCH!" She roared, bringing her right fist around to BLAST RIGHT into the center of Yuma's face!

...Whether or not it connected... there would be consequences...

Yuma was caught while retreating and the blow just blasted through her guard, like a canon being fired at a door. Cicilia's glove flattened Yuma's nose and send her flying with a trail of blood. The dark skinned fighter landed on her back an gripped her nose with her glove. Her head was groggy and it took her a moment to realize she as being counted out.
"3... 4..."
Yuma sat up and looked at the blood on the inside of her glove. Anger started to build up in her gut and refueled her with energy.
"5... 6..."
She got back up and nodded to the ref, to continue the match.
"Alright, i'm done playing nice..." She mumbled to herself, as she raised her gloves again.
Blood still dripped from her nose, onto the floor.

"...Damn it... Am I getting weaker...?" Cicilia hissed, her arm CRAMPING as her full strength recoiled into her shoulder, the German eyeing up her limb with disdain... then at Yuma as she began to, somewhat quickly, climb up to her feet! She had knocked a girl CLEAN OUT with that punch, one single punch, first blow of the fight and she had stolen the match. Ever since, Cicilia had been unable to replicate those results! Granted, she hardly ever used that punch due to it's agonizing recoil... but each time, the woman had been able to climb back up, glove or no glove!

...It frustrated her... Especially that Yuma was able to keep fighting after taking her FULL STRENGTH in that one, mighty hit! Blood dribbled out of Yuma's nose and over her lips, stained the glove she used to wipe it away... but even if that were so, the German's finisher only did THAT MUCH!? Screw the 6-count! This was an INSULT Damn this girl... Damn her....

Flames of anger burned in the German's eyes as she stared at her foe, catching her little whisper about no longer being nice...

"Pathetic." She growled, her fingers curling in so tightly into fists, her nails nearly bit into the soft padding of her glove! "This fight is a joke."

Yuma saw how furious her opponent was to see her back on her feet. It did a pretty good job of lifting her spirit up a bit. She licked the blood off her upper lip and her cocky smile returned. What was a broken nose in exchange for such a wonderfully pathetic sight? For the dark skinned fighter there were few things she loved more than seeing her opponents lose their composure.
While Cicilia was busy rambling, Yuma thought it was a good chance to catch her bigger opponent off guard. She threw two quick jabs at her and then took a step to the right for a hard right hook against Cicilia's left eye, before she backed out of the engagement again and retreated beyond Cicilia's range.
"Wake up she-hulk or i'll knock your manly ass out"
She thought that her insults might be more effective when Cicilia was already steaming with anger.

Cicilia's first impression wasn't that Yuma was a kind of crazy. She was arrogant, idiotic, skilled only in her abilities to run away and spout insults at the same time... But she wasn't a freak.... or so she thought. No, she was just another one of those stupid, hungry idiots that just LOVED to make her mad... and, by extension, another one of those idiots who would soon find themselves in need of a proper dentist.

Ugh... Yuma was disgusting. Look at her, smiling even though her nose was stained red with her thin, runny blood, her tongue lapping it up as if the taste of copper wasn't revolting. She couldn't believe it... Even after taking a LONG ASS TIME to return to the boxing circuit, she was put before another one of those girls who deserved to be in an asylum... UGH!

One day... I'm going to retire. Cicilia thought to herself, not even bothering to raise her guard as Yuma poked her fists at the German's jaw, each one slamming into it... but hardly budging it an inch... before a hook SLAMMED into the side of her head! A serious punch, finally, SNAPPED the boxer's face to the side, Yuma's glove striking JUST SHY of the socket... leaving the smallsest scuff upon Cicilia's face. As the dark-skinned pinkette retreated, the Juggernaut slowly righted her head back to center, cocking an eyebrow... and opening the eye her opponent had struck.

"...Not with punches like that, you won't." Cicilia growled, lifting her arms... and waiting for Yuma's approach!
