Yuma Sakurai vs Cicilia De'Reignhardt

Yuma sat in the locker room and was currently getting ready for her fight.
Her trainer was leaning against the lockers on the opposite side and read from a list she had prepared for the fight.
"Alright lets go over it again... Don't get cocky, don't make bets and don't cheat unless you have to."
"Yea, yea.. Just the usual right?"
her trainer paused for a second before continuing.
"Not quite... Your opponent today is from a very famous family of boxers in Germany. The women of the De'Reignhardt family are infamous for their boxing skill."
"Do you know them?"
Her trainer raised a eyebrow at this question and glared at her protege over the top of the paper.
"No? Just because I'm German doesn't mean i know every fighter from Germany personally..."
Yuma finished getting dressed for the fight and put one of her gloves on her hip in a sassy pose. Her trainer moved her attention back to the paper.
"She is two inches taller than you and also heavier. Now onto how you can defeat her... She seems to be a bit of a black sheep in her family and her record isn't nearly as impressive as that of her other family members. It also seems like she has anger issues, which is defiantly something you should try to exploit. Mock her, taunt her... Give her all the shit talk you got."
Yuma grinned in devious anticipation.
"Don't get hit and keep throwing jabs at her ego until she runs out of stamina."
"Got it! I feel like this will be a fun one!"
Yuma slammed her gloves together, eager to get into the fight.
"Alright, time to go."



The two stepped outside and moved towards the ring, supported by Yuma's entrance theme. The dark music, clashing with Yuma's cutesy pink outfit.
Her trainer moved to the blue corner, while Yuma climbed up onto the ring and energetically jumped over the top rope. With a cocky grin she moved into her corner and leaned into the corner pads while waiting for her opponent.

Unlike Yuma, who had someone to inform her of the nature of her opponent, the German had only her own experience with previous fighters to draw upon and assume the abilities of her challenger. Given that everyone here in Boxing apparently was more concerned with the short-game than the long, the Juggernaut sat back in her locker room, staring at closed metal storage box in front of her, assuming this was just going to be another speedy fighter. That's all AFW seemed to attract, really. It was all speed and hardly any toughness in this boxing sport. Sometimes, Cicilia felt like she was the only one here who was tough enough to make up for a lack of speed, strong enough to overcome a general lack of fineness... It was likely that she WAS the only one, given how blitzing one's rival is the winning strategy of this game!

Bah...

...And who even wanted to see her, anyway?

She still registered as a Face, given how she never attacked anyone back stage, kept to herself and tried to show off to the crowd... and yet, everyone booed and spat at her like she was the heel of Satan himself! ...She supposed they had enough of her short temper, of her explosive personality. She blew up at just the wrong time to take their patience with her.

...Now she was stuck with this... and she couldn't even have fun with it knowing everyone's desire for her loss.

"Hmph."

Cicilia moved on to watch from just behind the curtain as her short, little tan-skinned opponent stepped out to the ugliest shred of a guitar she had ever heard, the Juggernaut cringing some... and even more when she saw the dynamic of her cute little pink uniform flashing for the crowd! Wow... How utterly innovative. A combination that made her opponent so sick, she might not appear for fear of pre-match regurgitation.

As interesting a strategy as it appeared to be, the German was simply too stalwart to be put off, stepping out to her own harsh tune... except with the scars along her back, across her eyes... and her burning sanguine gaze implanted within her stone expression, it actually all fit together:



Cicilia said nothing as the crowd around her went about their routine of tearing her down, the specifics of their insults tangled and lost among each other... but the malformed glob of intention still impacted easily. They wanted her to LOSE. Shame they'll be disappointed in the first round or two. Cicilia stepped into her red-corner (appropriate), watching with quiet anticipation as she stared down her opponent. Nothing personal burned within her... but it was obvious she wasn't exactly comfortable either. How tense she was, how her gloved hands flexed and unflexed... how she had nobody in her corner cheering her on among a horde of people who wanted to see her fail.

...If Yuma was smart, she'd see that having all that... discomfort directed at her wouldn't serve her rightly in the long run....

Yuma grinned as her opponent entered and was met with a storm of boo's.
"Looks like there is someone they hate even more than me."
She said to her trainer, with glee in her voice.
"I guess... don't let it distract you in the fight tho"
"Of course not!"

Yuma's opponent stepped into a ring and delinquent got a closer look at her opponent.
She noted that the girl defiantly was stronger than her, but she had fought stronger opponents before.
The lights above the ring focused on Yuma and the crowd started cheering. It was a odd and unusual experience for Yuma to actually have the crowd in her favor for once.
Then speakers around the arena came to life.
"In the blue corner, at 5'6" and with a total boxing record of 33 wins and 6 losses... Yuma Sakurai!"
The arena roared for the tanned delinquent and she raised a fist into the air, while keeping her eyes fixated on her opponent and giving her a provocative grin.

And in the Red corner... at 5'8'' with 3 wins and 0 losses, It's Cicilia De'Reignhardt!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

...Good god, could they get this over with already... Of course, all this was for the benefits of the watchers, for everyone to pick their winners and losers... but it seemed all this had been decided long before. She wished the ref would just CUT TO THE DAMN FIGHT already... so she didn't have to hear herself be slandered and hated by the ignorant!...

Fuck this...

The German only glowered at her opponent as Yuma seemed to smile back as smug as a slug, that smarmy little grin like a girl who had the worst, ugliest revenge in mind for a life-long foe. How utterly disgusting, she seemed to ENJOY being seen in the positive light... almost as if she had never been cheered before! ...A very ugly feeling brewed in the boxer's chest as the boxer's sanguine eyes locked onto Yuma's with a quiet disdain, a feeling that promised pleasure immeasurable if she knocked her the HELL out in the first round! Memories of her one-hit KO match against that midget flashed through her mind, pleasant, pleasant memories of silencing a loud-mouth woman who dared to stand before her as a challenge.

This girl is weak, a fucking idiot... CRUSH her. Her wins mean NOTHING.

...So she would.

The Ref motioned for both women to enter the center of the ring, Cicilia ALL too happy to follow his instructions! The German's muscles flexed and rippled as she moved to the middle, her motions stiff... and hard, as if her body was restraining it's own mighty power... and the intent with which it was gathered. Without even needing to be told, the juggernaut lifted her gloves up to bump them with her opponent... to signal the start of the fight!

The moment their knuckles would touch, the bell would RING... and Cicilia would unleash the first punch of the fight: A MONSTROUS STRAIGHT PUNCH right into Yuma's nose!

Yuma saw the hate in her opponent's eyes as they squared up in the center of the ring.
It felt even better than the cheering of the crowd and she wondered how those hateful eyes would change when Yuma was standing triumphant over her broken body.
The tanned girl's grin widened at the thought of it.
"You seem pretty lonely for a rich girl... Looks like even you cant pay people enough to make them wanna spend time with a she-hulk like you."
Her grin grew even wider and she bumped her gloves against her opponent's.
As soon as the bell rang, a powerful straight was heading straight for Yuma's nose. She easily dodged it by tilting her body to the side, feeling the wind that was generated by the blow, brush up against her cheek.
Before her opponent could pull her arm back, Yuma fired a left straight and a right cross in quick succession at her face, before backing off out of Cicilia's range.
"Nice try bitch!"

"I'm not rich, you inbred...." Cicilia bit her tongue before she was able to complete her insult, an intentional silencing of a comeback that would serve only to make the German all the more angry. She didn't care about friends... She'd gotten this far without them... But she hated that people thought she was anything like her family. Rich, callow, making bonds through currency rather than truly earning them with action... And the sad thing was, these stereotypes weren't at all untrue. To keep businesses and other economic ventures alive, bribes and buyouts were necessary to keep expanding in both power and size. It was one of the things the German had listened to AND understood when she was taught... before she was cast aside like a used towel.

"I hope you're better than you look... Or this is going to be painful for you."

DING!

Cicilia's sudden strike was deftly dodged by the tan-skinned boxer, her fist coming around in response in a quick right-cross at her jaw! The punch would only taste leather as the German's arms shot back to defend her, folding over her front like the gates to a castle, harmlessly deflecting Yuma's punch! Cicilia advanced across the distance between them slowly throughout this exchange, pushing into Yuma's comfort zone... something her opponent didn't approve of, apparently! As skittish as she was a loud-mouth, Yuma retreated back several feet, just out of the German's punching range.

"Tough talk from a coward." Cicilia responded bluntly, going about her casual routine of playing the stalking predator hunting down the speedy rabbit.

Yuma circled around her opponent to not let her push her into a corner. Following every motion of Cicilia's body with her eyes. She was surprisingly fast for someone that seemed so much like a lumbering behemoth and even had managed to block Yuma's counter.
The tanned fighter went through multiple strategies in her head before deciding on one.
She dashed forward and feinted a straight left to Cicila's face, before going with a right hook to her ribs. She might not be as strong, but Yuma knew where to hit, to get around the natural defense of very muscular opponents like Cicilia and she definitely had enough strength to make those hits hurt.

Yuma seemed relatively unaffected by the German's insult the woman simply circling about the boxer as she was chased around the ring! It was almost comical, the Juggernaut following Yuma around like she were a rabid dog on an invisible leash. They could do this all day if Yuma wanted until her stamina gave out... Cicilia was fairly certain she could outlast this girl if she had to, taking all her blows and firing back with something twice as disruptive... If she wanted to just dance around and pop out at her... she'd better bring real firepower with each attack... or this match would be long and grueling for her!

As if to challenge that notion, Yuma LUNGED in with a straight seemingly, the boxer's arms shooting up to defend... only for a quick STAB at Cicilia's ribs! The blow impacted HARD against the German's side, Cicilia's eyes widening just the tiniest bit as she bent inward upon impact!

...Damn it... She's strong and fast.... What a pest...

That didn't mean Cicilia was halted in the least however! Recovering instantly, the boxer lashed out with a HUGE uppercut into Yuma's stomach, aiming to rip her abs asunder and leave her hanging from her fist! Cicilia's uppercut held a great amount of her strength, enough to drop a lesser opponent to her knees!

Yuma's hook connected and showed her opponent that she might be smaller, but her punches still hurt.
The bigger fighter retaliated with another over-committed attack, which Yuma could see coming from a mile away.
What a amateur...
Yuma sidestepped the powerful blow, letting it zoom past her body to fire a counter hook and a cross at her opponent's face, using the cross to push herself away from her opponent and out of her range again.
While she executed her counter, the tanned fighter wondered how long it would take her opponent to realize that power moves like that uppercut would not work so early into the match.

Cicilia could tell Yuma was getting confident, thinking that Cicilia didn't know as much about this sport as she. Look at her, throwing heavy punch after heavy punch... and look at her opponent, dodging around them like a fly around a sword-swing. It would've been humiliating... if this incompetence was innocent and genuine.

The German could see how Yuma was making judgments before the fight had ended, how she was already confident that the boxer she was facing was nothing more than a thug... But Cicilia had been doing this a long time... Since childhood in fact. Before she even knew how to have proper manners, she was fighting other girls in this sport... Yuma would pay for her arrogance... Either when her stamina ran out or when she thought she could go in for some real damage... The girl may have been strong... But she was little more than an annoyance, a spider-bite to a human. Noticable... nothing of consequence.

Yuma's hook would hit nothing but air as Cicilia quickly stepped back, pulling her upper body back just as the woman's fist came around, striking at nothing but the space between them! Seemingly desiring to put more space between them, Yuma stepped back again... but for every step she took back, Cicilia took another towards her, keeping their distance constant and the same. She quickly lashed out with a solid jab RIGHT at the center of her target's face, a punch quick, to be sure, but packed with all the power of the juggernaut! Another would come... then a third, each one stabbing at the woman's face before Cicilia QUICKLY shot out a crushing hook at Yuma's ribs, aiming to split her in two with it's force!
