Yuma Sakurai vs Cicilia De'Reignhardt

Yuma's cocky attitude quickly faded again, as her opponent kept up with her retreat and threw a series of jabs at her face.
She managed to block the jabs, but had to start moving backwards at a angle to not get cornered. While retreating, she shot her own jabs at Cicilia, every time she saw a opening, in a attempt to slow down her opponent's advance.
However, it did not work as well as Yuma had hoped and her much bigger opponent still managed to keep pace with her.
The real wake up call came in the form of a hook that smashed into Yuma's ribs and rocked her body to the side.
Her eyes shot wide open from the sudden pain, but she managed to stick to what her trainer had taught her and immediately fired a right cross back at her opponent's face. She continued circling around her bigger opponent while backing off, so she could recover from the massive blow.
Fuck! Did she move like a amateur to fool me? I need to stay calm... I need to look confident if i want to piss her off...
While backing off, Yuma smiled at her opponent to hide the pain she was in and kept her arms ready to fire off a straight, in case Cicilia tried to move in for another hook.

Yuma, for all her confidence and precautionary jabs, fell for Cicilia's trap like (dare she say it) AN AMATEUR! It was one of the most simple tricks in the art of fighting, luring an opponent's guard up in one direction with lesser attacks to leave another position open for a big finish! There was something to be respected, however... And that was that Yuma was able to stay on her feet and keep moving after taking such a crushing blow... even if she wasn't hopping around like the little arrogant bunny she was before. No, now she turtled behind her arms, putting on a little cocky smirk like she wasn't hurt at all... But the German noticed that change prior to this one... She noticed how her eyes shot open, how her body folded and contorted under the German's legendary and reknowned might.

Yuma was hurt... and no pathetic attempt at alluding to anything otherwise would help disguise it.

"Not talking big now, are you?" Cicilia noted as she poked at Yuma's guard some more, firing off jab after jab, each spot random, keeping her guessing. Stomach, chin, center-of-face, breast-bone... Just about anywhere that wasn't her chest... or between her legs. After all, the German had a code, STANDARDS of what places she'd strike and what she wouldn't even if the rules allowed such practices.

Jab after jab... her punches gaining speed as she fell into her momentum, her other arm joining in as she mixed a few crosses into her jabbing combination, hitting with greater power and guard-breaking ability! She kept on the lookout for counter attacks, combo-breakers such as Over-hand punches and uppercuts... but until such blows manifested, she'd keep pressing her foe until she broke!

Yuma hissed in annoyance at her opponent's comment. She had a point and that was what bothered Yuma...
However, now that her mind was on high alert, it was much harder for her opponent to actually hit her. She ducked and weaved under the jabs and kept firing her own back at Cicilia. Some still managed to tag her, but not with enough force to make her change her strategy.
The bigger fighter then started to mix in crosses with her attacks, which Yuma payed special attention to, to not get hit.
She started to block the jabs instead of dodging them and began firing counter hooks at Cicilia's ribs, every time the tanned fighter ducked under one of her crosses.
Death of a thousand cuts, that was how she planned to get back into the game.
At the moment, her Opponent still felt as the superior and if Yuma wanted her strategy to work, she had to establish herself as a strong opponent first. There was no point in trying to mock someone that was in a dominant position, but Yuma was sure that her dodging and her counter's would get to her opponent eventually and THEN she could start with her strategy of baiting the bigger fighter into throwing sloppy attacks out of anger.

It looked like Yuma was taking her seriously finally... Shame. Cicilia could've been in-and-out of here in a half-hour if this girl clung to her ego any tighter. Yuma ducked and weaved under and around the German's strike like she was a bobble-head avoiding a flicking finger, always moving, always slipping and sliding... No doubt that constant movement would inevitably wear down on her... Instead of holding any ground, she would keep changing and warping it to fit her needs in an effort to stave off the German's wrath... And it would indeed work...

...At least, until Yuma decided to go on the offensive!

Cicilia grunted softly as Yuma DRILLED her fist into the German's side... But such an attack wouldn't stop the simultaneous uppercut ROCKETING UP into the tan-girl's belly! Cicilia could feel the force of her opponent's punch PUSH into her body and out the other side... but her fist would grind in very little against the armored stomach of the Juggernaut! It was like punching into a padded bag, with just enough give for the force to not SHOTGUN back into the woman's wrist... but not quite enough to indicate meaninful damage!

The German's eyes glowed hotly with anger, not at all dissuaded from her attack because Yuma got one measily punch in! Whether or not the German's uppercut connected, Cicilia would fire another one, this time sending it SHOOTING up into her opponent's jaw!

The tanned fighter's punch missed its target and was stopped by Cicilia's rock hard abs. Her opponent immediately fired back two uppercuts in retaliation.
Yuma sidestepped out of the way of the first uppercut, but didn't manage to do so for the second one. She was forced to block it, which sent her back a few steps and left a burning sensation on her forearms.
Her back almost touched the ropes, but she managed to regain her balance in time and circle away from the ropes.
For now, she wanted to continue her strategy of baiting Cicilia around the ring and making her walk into Yuma's counters.
While being still out of range of her opponent, Yuma grinned at her.
Having fun? I certainly am.
She tried to bait her opponent into advancing forward and wanted to meet her with a right cross to the face as soon as she was in range.

...This was getting ANNOYING but she could tell AT LEAST she was making progress. She wasn't RUNNING OVER Yuma like the rest of the hopeless idiots dumb enough to step into a ring with her... but she wasn't exactly providing meaningful resistance. The tanned girl would come at her quickly, poke at her and then get tossed aside... It was like a bear fighting a wasp... And everyone knew where that fight inevitably went... After all, Wasps were only, truly dangerous when there were a lot of them.

Yuma was THROWN back as the German's uppercut SLAMMED into the woman's guard, sending her near the ropes with the German in hot pursuit! Before she could pin the girl against the ropes, however, Yuma managed to slip away, just as the GERMAN RIPPED at the space where she was standing with a brutal cross-punch where her head once rested! The girl seemed to mock her, remarking at JUST HOW MUCH FUN SHE WAS HAVING... consistantly losing ground and doing very little to actually justify her retreat. Well... Let her have her fun... fore she would not be feeling anything for much longer! The Juggernaut DID, chase after Yuma, giving her little time to set up her roots... but also taking care to watch for her movements... The moment she had gotten far enough away, she stopped... and seemed to wait, inviting the German over there, almost...

...A trap. Go figure...

Still, the German rushed RIGHT in with her guard raised over her head, Yuma's fist shooting out HARD in a... remarkably strong straight right into it! Even the Juggernaut paused in the face of such power, the German's sanguine eyes widening slightly in mild surprise... before lashing out with her own LEFT straight at Yuma's jaw!

Yuma's cross landed on her opponent's guard, supported by the momentum it could have done some major damage. But sadly it didn't.
The punch did let her larger opponent hesitate for a second however, which Yuma took note of.
She wanted to capitalize on her opponent's hesitation and followed up with a strong left hook, aiming to get around Cicilia's defense and hit her face from the side.
However at the same time, her much larger opponent also shot a left straight at the tanned girl's face. Her head was snapped back from the force and the sweat from her blue hair tips was sent flying through the air.
Yuma fell backwards into the ropes, without knowing if her hook had done any damage or not, instinctively turtleing up into a full guard.

The Juggernaut pushed through Yuma's punches, baring through their stinging contact, pushing past the force they produced in order to take command! She wasn't going to let some cocky, two-bit wasp buzz about her and bring her down with her annoying speed! She had crushed faster girls than her... and certainly much stronger ones! She would not be ANY DIFFERENT!

Cicilia's blow sent Yuma FLYING intot he ropes, Cicilia ROCKETING right at her, fist SHOOTING towards her just now risen guard in an attempt to SMASH RIGHT THROUGH it-

DING! "END OF ROUND ONE!"

Cicilia's fist stopped just a mere half-inch from the tan-girl's arms, her fist's sudden stop causing a quick GUST of air to blast over the woman's face and ruffle her cutsy pink hair! Should that punch have impacted... this match might've just ended at round one! Cicilia thought so at least... a pity so much time was wasted CHASING HER AROUND THE DAMN RING LIKE AN IDIOT! One could practically feel the anger irradiating off Cicilia like she were some sort of nuclear victim, the air around her seeming to warp as Cicilia forced those emotions inside... just beneath her skin. Her sanguine eyes would GLARE into Yuma's, a look that warned her off of toying with her next time...

...Lest she find herself not waking up when she was inevitably caught.

"...Hmph." She snorted before turning back and returning to her corner, leaning into it only a bit as she analyzed her most annoying foe yet... Damn girl... She didn't have time for these stupid games...

Cicilia's fist stopped inches away from Yuma as the round ended and saved the smaller girl from taking another powerful blow.
The bigger boxer was noticeably angered by the fact that she didn't get to destroy Yuma in the first round, which the dark skinned girl answered with a smug grin.
Once Cicilia turned around to walk back to her corner, Yuma let out a sigh of relief and went back to her own.

Yuma's trainer met her with a wide grin.
"You're doing good so far! She is pissed off and realized that you're not a pushover. Next round you can start throwing some banter her way and then abuse her anger driven movements."
Yuma nodded while her trainer started to clean the sweat off of her body with a white towel.
"It's like fighting a gorilla... Only that she sometimes shows a hint of intelligence..."
Her Trainer gave her a sip of water, wile giving some more advice to her student.
"You mean that hook she got you with? Yea, she tricked you into believing she was just a mindless brute with no strategy and then at the height of your confidence, hit you with a strong punch. Stay cautious about stuff like that. Don't celebrate your victory before she is out cold on the mat."

The buzzer called the two fighters back to the center of the ring.
Yuma got there first, starting to jump a bit on the spot to show her opponent that she still had a lot of energy left and to keep herself warmed up.

Arrogance was a trait a lot of people liked to attribute to Cicilia. Sometimes it was because she wasn't the kindest girl to ever walk into a ring, other times it was because she wasn't afraid of the over-confident nimrods that made the unfortunate mistake of getting into the ring with her... Well, if arrogance was a word that could could be attributed to her, then Yuma embodied the attribute. Look at her, smiling smugly as she was probably being fed sugary trash from her trainer, being told how awesome she was and giving her hints on what to do... This girl was pathetic, requiring someone to think FOR her and she'd call CICILIA a gorilla...?

Hypocrisy was another attribute this girl could choke on.

With the DING of the bell, the two fighters were called to the center, Yuma hopping about like a dainty little imp... While Cicilia stood steadfast, heavy and solid in her stance. The Juggernaut quietly speculated how many blows it would take to render this girl into a bleeding, broken mess, how many heavy, bone-crunching, ab-busting blows would be required to beat every last drop of confidence from Yuma's smiling, disgusting face.

...She guessed 5. Only 5 solid blows that connected with their targets.

Showing Cicilia she still had energy did nothing to wear on the German... really, only giving away how much she relied on distraction. Yuma, with each motion, slowly revealed her weaknesses as a fighter, implying that through all these jabs at her patience and anger... all she really had to her name was a good, fast punch... She wasn't a true boxer, one that couldn't simply shut up and let their fists do the talking. She was a sheep in wolf's clothing, a pathetic runt who liked to pretend she was big.

Go figure... Another one. AFW seemed to be full of girls like these... Were it not for Sayumi, she would've left ages ago.

With not a bit of her stamina depleted and with nothing but determination in her eyes, Cicilia simply waited, body turtled behind her arms, waiting for Yuma to make a mistake... a mistake that would cost her much.
