Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
It took a couple of really annoying minutes, but Ed was finally able to reach the ropes, only holding them for a brief moment before he was released, the entire headlock sequence apparently meant to do nothing other than irritate the younger fighter as he got to his bare feet, rubbing his neck, his other hand rubbing the spot on his back where the handsome beach bums elbow had landed. That was gonna hurt for a bit, but overall he was fine. Annoyed, but fine.
Annoyed becamed irritated, however, when he looked over and saw Dash posing for the crowd, letting the ladies swoon over him and whistle and make catcalls at him. The short fighter, disliking being ignored, pointed a finger Dash's way. "Oi! Beach Bunny! You can flaunt it after ye've lost!" he yelled, before rushing towards his opponent. Rather than try to grapple, or attempting to tackle, his opponent however, the ponytailed fighter would drop his body down, kicking his feet out, trying to slam into Dash's legs with a sliding dropkick!

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Dash turned fully to regard Edward, never having truly let the man out of his sight. While he was far from the most professional wrestler there ever was, he wasn't dumb to the idea of turning your back on an opponent and getting whooped for it. That said, he would from time to time do it on purpose for his own reasons. Today however was not one of those times.
It looked like he got his for fired up a bit. That was good. Most people didn't tend to think straight when the were frazzled. It appeared Ed was no different. The smart man came charging at him full bore, while Dash stood his ground with a smile.
He wasn't expecting a grapple. Not after having worked the other man over on the mat like he just had. In a bout of strength, he was almost certain he could win every time if the engagement was a fair one. No, he would go for something different. A spear maybe? Something lower to be sure, as he had before in th corner.
Dash took a single step forward, waiting for just the right moment before he jumped up, kicking his legs out to either side. A simple standing leapfrog over Edward again. While his jump may have been a bit overkill given the nature of Ed's slide, it still removed him from danger all the same… though this turned out to work even better for him.
Rather than clearing Edward completely, he let gravity take hold, bringing his legs back together as he dropped. His feet kicked out, down at his opponent's chest in an attempt to turn his evasive move into a weighted double stomp down at the smaller man.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Ed was so close, about to take Dash down a peg, literally tripping him to the mat...when the bastard jumped.
"Idiot!" Ed thought, sliding his nearly naked body on the mat, now underneath a leaping Dash. "He saw you coming, get up an-OHSHIT!" There was no time. He was still on the mat, still moving, seeing only a pair of bare feet come down...
"AGHH!"
The teen screamed, Dash coming down hard, stomping both feet into his bare chest, the beach bunny, with his 5 inch height and 30 pound weight advantage coming down full force on the smaller and lighter fighter, the younger man's bare legs kicking up in reaction to having his upper body slammed into the mat, halting his momentum.
Several in the crowd, while still fully on Dash's side, gasped and winced at the sight of the brutal stomp, especially the after effect as Ed lay flat and still on the mat after Dash got off of him, arms and legs spread, eyes wide, chest seizing up as he gasped and wheezed loudly, in a high pitch, the wind literally driven out of him, the teen desperate to breath!

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Dash didn't find himself in this position often. He rarely took to the middle or top rope for moves, or.had use for something like this over slapping on a hold with a downed opponent. His was an oppotunist though, which lead him down pathee not normally walked when in matches. His bare feet slapping Edward square in the chest backed with his weight and power made for an effective and crowd wooing moment though. He would consider adding this to his wheelhouse in the future.
He used the other man as a small springboard, bouncing off his flattened chest with a hop, moving far enough past him to avoid stomping a second time on his face. It didn't seem especially sporting to double up on the guy, nor was he sure he would be able to stick a graceful landing on a more varied surface. Would it have been effective? Sure, but he had to worry slightly about making it look good. He didn't need tl wind up flopping to the canvas like a fish flung out of water if he couldn't stick a landing.
He extended his arms to the side, presenting himself to the cheering crowd as if an olympic gymnast who had just made a far more impressive dismount. They ate it up all the same, he was making fast fans among the audience on this sunny sizzling day.
He pivoted on his heel, looking down to Edward with a boyish smirk. “Up you go dude, can't have you laying around while we have entertaining to do.” Dash moved to clap a hand on each side of the Scottish man's head, forcefully jerking him upwards to pull him to his feet. He wouldn't go all the way though, trying to get the man partial up before throwing an arm around his head and leaning down to meet him.
His hand reached out to grab the side of Edward's speedo, giving it a hard pull to hoist the smaller man up into the air for a vertical suplex. Edward was light enough for him to attempt to keep him suspended vertical in the air for a few seconds before leaning back to bring the two of them crashing back to the canvas.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
For a brief second, as Dashs feet passed over him again, Ed thought this was it, Dash was going to double curb stomp his face and put him out completely, a no doubt very painful way to lose. Luckily that didn't come to pass, and the heavier blond hopped off of him.
Not that it did him much good, as he couldn't even move, laying on the mat, wheezing in a high pitched tone, desperate to regain his air, a sight that might have drawn him some sympathy, had the mostly bikini-clad audience not been fawning over how hot his opponent was.
Still trying to recover, he felt Dash roughly pulling him upwards, felt a pull on his thin speedo...and then he was upside down...and stayed upside down, for several seconds, getting a great view of the ocean and sky switching places...before he was suplexed onto the mat, arching his back and letting out a pained hiss upon impact!

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
The fans were engrossed, counting the seconds Edward was left hanging in the air, punctuated by a wavelike cheer when they move finished out with a powerful arc into the mat. Their voices didn't have as much power behind them in the open air venue as they would in the arena, but the beauty of the beach made up for it in Dash's eyes.
The sting of the mat was a good one for him, less for his opponent. It had gone off without a hitch and left his Edward on the ground. Dash twisted his body, rising up to his knees. Tucking his hands under the man's shoulders, he lifted him up to a sitting position. His arms reached out, wrapping themselves around the other man's neck to lock in a sleeper hold.
He inch in, pressing himself firmly to Edward's back, flexing his arms to attempt to tightly cinch the hold. Another efficient use of a rest hold to help grow the gap in both men's energy, setting him up well for whatever came next. Despite Dash's easy going nature, he didn't seem to be holding back even a little bit when it came to applying pressure.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Edward was starting to not have a good day. After hanging upside down, straight as an arrow, long enough for his face to start turning red from the blood rushing through it, he was finally dropped onto the mat, where he arched and hissed before laying flat. On the bright side, that was the tallest he had ever felt before. On the negative side, he was still winded, though getting a few breaths in at least, and now his back hurt.
It didn't take long for more bad news to arrive either, as a strong pair of arms soon had the speedo clad blondie sitting up straight, and then closed in tightly around his neck, effectively cutting off the flow of air he was already in pretty desperate need of.
It was a tight choke indeed, Ed's face, still red from the blood rush of the suplex, starting to turn redder, almost a light shade of violet, as his bare legs kicked and slid on the mat, grabbing at Dash's strong arms and pulling in a frantic, if futile, gesture.
"C-Ca..n't....B-brea..the..." he choked out, trying to hold out the best he could against the aggressive beach bunny.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Dash took advantage of catching Edward unaware, the arm he had hooked around the man's through like a noose tightening up until it couldn't anymore. His other arm was bent back, locking in the first to strengthen his claim over the hold. Save for a small twist left or right to manipulate the positioning of the two he had it applied just as much as he liked. The blond beach bum remained as he was, knelt behind Edward, keeping the man's back pressed firmly against his chest.
“Yeah, that's how it sorta works my dude. Sorry ‘bout that.” That had gotten a bit of a chuckle out of him as Edward stated the obvious. It also had him thinking, if the guy was having issues with this, maybe he should dial it up a bit more. He decided internally almost in an instant, nodding to no one but himself.
He dropped back from a kneeling position onto his backside, pulling Edward back a bit to lean with him. Legs spread wide, one other either side, they moved to wrap around the Scottish wrestler's midsection. The two deadly limbs would try to cross one another, locking in at the ankles to apply a crushing scissor to Edward while keeping the first hold going as well, working the other man over on two fronts.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Considering Ed was already dealing with having the wind knocked out of him and not having much air, the sleeper did NOT help him out at all. But, at least, he was still in the fight, he could still find a way out of this. Still, it was the worst position he could be in...
Oh, he was wrong! It could get MUCH worse! Dash's long legs snapped around the teens waist, squeezing, crushing, making breathing that much more impossible a task and making the hold more painful to boot.
Even more embarrassing for Ed, on top of the bad situation, was that being held against Dash's chest, rubbing against it in his struggles, was just semi-intimate enough that it almost felt...nice...and his brain, losing oxygen, recognized that just enough to send signals of embarrassment to Ed's cheeks, causing him to blush...not that anyone could notice, with his face already red.
"N-not...like...this..."
This was bad. Dash had him trapped. He couldn't reach the ropes, or get onto his front to try and crawl towards them, and he wasn't sure he could crawl anyway with Dash on his back. In a panic, Ed's vision started to get blurry, his head feeling heavier, while his struggling and kicking slowed, his body slowing down until he hung his head, seemingly going limp against the beach bunnies body.

Re: Ed Sealgaire vs Dash Turner: Bash At The Beach
Edward squirmed a bit, struggled as most tended to do when put in a submission hold. There wasn't much the man could give though, still reeling from getting literally stomped into the canvas. Dash did what any good wrestler would, took each little movement and reposition as a chance to squeeze a bit more out of his hold. He pushed his legs out, ankles locked, allowing his thighs crush with pressure that far exceeded his natural strength without having it cinched in.
It seemed as though this match was going to be over soon. He expected a bit more but ultimately was fine with a quickie win. The sooner he finished up here, the quicker he could get back to the beach and babes. He tilted his head at Ed's fading voice. Poor guy. He hoped this wasn't his first match or anything. The last thing he wanted to do was deter someone else from the sport much like his treatment back home.
“Yo, don't worry about it. There's always next time.” he Gave Edward a small twist as he worked the hold, though no response had come. He raised a brow, eyeing the referee for clarification. He wasn't even certain if the guy had heard his words of semi encouragement… bummer.
The official dropped down beside both men, snapping their fingers near Edward. “Are you alright to continue?” They waited a moment for a response before shaking their head slowly. Reaching out, they took hold of Edgar's wrist, lifting his arm slightly.the limb hung limp, lifeless. The referee let go, allowing it to drop to the mat with a frown. A second time it lifted and fell. They raised it one last time...
