Ah, that was right. As Valerie poured the pressure onto Belinda, her inexperience in this sort of match shone through - she’d nearly forgotten the rules in her eagerness. Theoretically, she could’ve choked Belinda out like this, knocked her clean out…

...but that wasn’t the aim, really. No, the real objective was overhead, suspending, and now wasn’t the worst time to start making headway on it. ”Tatiana!” She called out from across the ring. ”Ladder! Get a ladder!”

Tatiana was still aching after her scrape with Chelsea, but she wasn’t so out of it that she couldn’t hear her sister’s call. Rolling off the apron, she grabbed the nearest ladder and slide it under the rope, placing it about halfway into the ring. With it in place, Valerie grabbed Belinda by the hair and started to drag her opponent towards it, already thinking of the best way to make use of the situation.

Belinda was in a poor spot right now, as for a moment it seemed as if the Valerie was planning to keep choking her out while she had the chance. Though that thought vanished the second the weight of the fellow blond left the back of her Belinda. She coughed and pulled her head up, before it was then violently yanked as the slightly taller woman took a hold of her short blond hair and yanked on it.

Pulling her off the ropes and towards the center of the ring, seemingly towards the ladder that Tatiana had just pulled into the ring. The Swede would grunt and struggle, trying to turn over onto her side and then her front. Aiming to try and pull herself up to her knees while being dragged.

She'd try and halt the pulling of her hair, by wrapping her arms around Valerie's waist as she'd try and rise to her feet, lift Valerie up off of her feet and try and then throw the fellow blond down onto her shoulders with a quick German Suplex attempt!

Valerie’s idea was a pretty simple one, being honest. She was going to pick Belinda up, drop her back onto the ladder, then use the same ladder to climb up and claim the titles. It wouldn’t make for the most entertaining match, but the theory was sound enough. Chelsea was still winded after that opening volley, and if she was quick, then maybe…

As it turned out, it wouldn’t make much difference, because her plan was stopped before she could even have a chance to get it working. Arms around her waist, she was being lifted up, and-

”Guaah!” She came down hard, right on her shoulders, and flopped over to her chest near the opposing corner. Dazed, she shook her head and started to pushed up, trying to get her bearings back. Grunting, she grabbed the nearest ropes and pulled her way up, one foot at a time, before she looked over to see what Belinda was up to.

Belinda managed to push up and wrap her arms around that waist, with a pop of her hips, the Swede would lift and then throw the fellow blond down, slamming her with that German Suplex and with it the other blond went flopping. Belinda would quickly push up and spin around on one knee. Watching Valerie as she came to that corner and grabbed at the ropes.

Taking a deep breath, the Swede would take to a run! Charging right at the slightly taller woman, aiming to run right towards the rising Valerie and at the final moment attempt to turn around! Aiming to drive her rear into that chest of Valerie with a swift hip attack!

Trying to knock the breath away from the fellow blond and leave her on her back foot.

”Val!” Valerie heard her sister crying out as she turned around to face Belinda. ”Incoming, she’s going to-”

The warning was appreciated, but ultimately futile, as Belinda turned out to be far too fast to make it effective. By the time Valerie realized what was coming her way, there was no chance to dodge. No chance to block. No chance to brace for impact. All she could do was wait for the attack and hope it wouldn’t be as bad as it looked.

It was.

The move sandwiched her into the corner, and when Belinda moved away, Valerie followed close behind. She collapsed down on her knees, gasping and cradling her chest, sucking in as much air as she could to refill her aching lungs.

The hip attack worked wonders, as she sandwiched Valerie against the corner and flattened her chest with that rear of hers, Belinda would stumble forward a bit and then spin around on her heels, facing the fellow blond to collapsed down onto her knees.

She wasn't going to underestimate Valerie, so far she'd been choked on the ropes by her....so she wasn't exactly in the mood for going easy on her. Deciding to take a hold of the fellow blond by her arm and try and pull her up! Aiming to lift Valerie up onto her shoulders and get her up in a fireman's carry position.

The Swede would next try and carry Valerie over towards the halfway pushed in ladder...trying to set herself up in a good position to then try and throw Valerie's body right on top of that half of the ladder with an Inverted Death Valley driver.

It was hard to believe that, just a minute ago, Valerie had this situation firmly in hand. She was on the floor, gasping, trying her best to deal with the pain, as the younger Northman loomed large over. If she had ten or so seconds to recover, it wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, but there was no way she was going to get that precious time. Clearly.

Belinda came in low and lifted her up, showing some surprising strength for her frame. Before Valerie was even able to think of escaping, she was sent up and over and down on the ladder and-

”Gah!” Valerie shrieked and rolled away after the hellish impact, kicking about and desperately rubbing the spot on her spine where the metal made contact.

Belinda took Valerie up into the air and onto her shoulder as she walked over towards the ladder. It didn't take a whole lot of time as she would then suddenly drop Valerie down hard onto the ladder with that Inverted Death Valley Driver, dropping the fellow blond down harshly onto the ladder! Hearing that shriek of pain from the fellow blond as she then rolled off of the ladder and started to rub her her hurting back.

The Swede would nod her head, she felt a bit sorry for Valerie for having smashed her down so harshly, but they had a match to win and titles to retain. She would try and grab onto the ladder, aiming to pull it into the ring and start to set it up, moving it to the center of the ring as she would start to put the ladder up and make sure it was good and steady.

As an acrobat, Valerie was used to taking some fairly nasty dives. Came with the territory, and she’d developed a fairly thick skin for bumps and bruises through her life. Resilience was a gift that she never took for granted.

It did her little good today, though, because, while she was used to taking crashes, doing so on a ladder? That was a new thing. A painful thing.

It left her rolling on the mat, gritting and groaning, as Belinda went about her business. But she wasn’t so out of it that she couldn't recognize what her opponent was doing, and she wasn’t about to let her get away with it unmolested.

For now, she just wanted to slow Belinda down, buy some time to recover. Rolling over, she reached out and wrapped her legs around the woman’s ankle, pulling it in tight to made a deadweight. It wouldn’t do much more than hinder Belinda’s progress, but she’d take that for now.

As Belinda had started to put the legs of the ladder down and begun to set it up, she would get a sudden feeling as the legs of the fellow blond snatched around her own ankle, grunting out a bit as she found it to be quite a annoying as the extra weight and restriction practically prevented her from moving.

The Swede was forced to abandon the actual climb and locking the legs in proper place of the ladder, as she instead would find herself awkwardly trying to and reach down for Valerie, bending over as she would try and throw a punch right into the woman's abs to try and stun her.

Before trying to grab a hold of Valerie by her head and guide her up towards her feet. Deciding to try and hit her with a European uppercut, driving her arm right up into the blond's chin!
