AV 18 Tag Championship - Blazing Blizzard (c) vs. Novae

Chelsea kept on bending her foe like a wishbone making sure to get that lovely arch that she needed to really make this hold work for her. Where they we’re currently help wasn’t coming for her and even though a submission wouldn’t be winning her he match it would be wearing down her opponents efforts to fight back or climb the ladder which would make her case for the ruler of the skies a shoe in.

“This really got you huh?” Chelsea said trying to mess with her as she kept on pulling before finally letting go. She needed to change things up. The redhead would grab her counterpart and look to bring her up to her feet. Throwing her towards the corner she would let her come flying her way and jump up to send her down with a simple drop kick to the chest.

Okay, this was bad, but not quite as bad as it might’ve looked to the naked eye. Tatiana wasn’t a contortionist, not exactly, but she was far more limber and flexible than the average woman, and was used to stretching her body in ways that would’ve had others screaming.

That didn’t mean that this hold was comfortable, not by any stretch of the imagination. But she could endure. She could survive. She held on and held on, and eventually it paid off when Chelsea let her go. Not the best place to be, but she could go on.

Her opponent wasn’t done with her just yet, though, a fact that become clear as she was dragged up to her feet. She’d barely been standing straight for a whole second before a pair of feet crashed hard into her chest, knocking her clean off her feet and sending her tumbling to the other side of the ring, coming to a rest on her back near the ropes.

”Ow...geez…” She grumbled, slowly sitting up after a moment.

Knocking her down to the corner in a show of force Chelsea stomped to the center of the ring looking confident. She hopped on the balls of her feet looking at the women trapped int he corner and went to the other side. Lining up her shot and even pointing in her direction to let the crowd know what was coming next.

Then it happened, rushing back to Tatiana with as much speed as she could muster Chelsea tried to close the gap and jump in the air while spinning so that when she came crashing into her foe it was backfirst

Ugh. Come on, the match had only just started, and this was the way it was going? Tatiana would’ve smacked her forehead, if she wasn’t so sure that would make her mounting headache that much worse.

The world was coming to her in chunks as she laid on the floor, reeling from that last blow. The crowd’s cheering, the dull thud of her opponent moving about the ring, the sound of Val screaming nearby - none of it too pleasant, she could admit, but knowing where she was would be a good start to turning things back around. She just had to center on her opponent, and-

Uh-oh.

She looked up and to the side, just in time to see her foe coming back towards her, full steam. If she had to guess, Cheslea was about to pounce on her with some kind of splash, and it was far too late to move out of the way, if she’d even had the energy. But maybe…

As Chelsea leaped into the air with a Spinning...Senton...Thing, Titania drew in her legs and raised her knees. It would suck for both of them, she was sure, but she wanted to make sure it sucked for her opponent a lot more.

Taking to the skies like this took some time and she thought for sure she as positioned herself well enough that she had all the time she needed. In fact she was pretty confident that her move was going to connect and leave her foe more then a little flattened up and until she ended up dropping down on her knees that is, that was a pretty big wake up call that she had missed the mark.

“Agghh!” Chelsea screamed out dropping off her knees, or more precisely bouncing off as her spine stiffened from the painful impact of meeting her foes hard knees rather then it’s softer center. She flopped to the side next to her and brought a hand to her back. Alright enough of this. Bel’s turn. Slowly she would start to drag herself to her corner, holding her hurting back on the occasional pull as she inched towards her corner.

Belinda watched intently as the fast pace action of her the two redheads were going on in the ring, a rather impressive back and forth already in the early goings. Belinda was actually rather surprised that Chelsea looked to be having quite a hard time so far with Tatiana. She would wince when she saw her best friend hit those knees back first and recoil a bit in sympathy.

When she saw Chelsea start to drag herself towards the corner though, Belinda would quickly extend over the ropes as much as she could while still staying legally outside of the ring, aiming to reach towards Chelsea's hand and tag herself in. It was only a question if Tatiana was going to let them, unless she wasn't in the condition to deny them the tag.

So, that was a trainwreck, but at least it was a trainwreck that Chelsea had to share in, too. Tatiana had to give her rival credit - once the woman got going, she was a tough thing to stop, a wrecking ball that would’ve toppled her over if she’d been less off her game. Doing homework on their opponents was one thing, but actually experiencing them in the ring? Totally different.

She sat up and looked over, only to see her opponent going for the ropes, looking for the tag. For a moment, she considering trying to stop her, but that idea faded fast - the benefit to tag wrestling was switching up, after all, and there was no way that Tatiana could pass that up. She was tired, she was hurt, she needed a little rest. Let the blondes go at it for a bit.

Valerie shared that sentiment, as her arm was outstretched, waiting for Tatiana to crawl over her way, almost there, so close…

Got it.

Valerie vaulted over the ropes only half-a-second after she and Tatiana touched hands, sprinting across the ring as fast as she could. She knew there was little chance she could stop Chelsea from making the tag, so she went for the next best thing - leaping up, she tried to nail the younger Northman with a flying knee, looking to take her out before she even knew what was happening.

Belinda narrowly managed to smack her hand of Chelsea right after she heard the smack come from the other side of the ring, they were a bit slower on the tag...but the Swede was more than ready, as it was time for the blond's to rumble for a bit!

The Swede quickly slipped out through the ropes and would make her way towards her opponent, seeing the fellow blond rush towards her, Belinda was ready to take to this fight with all heart! Though she was the one caught off-pace, the slower tag had meant Valerie was quicker in closing in towards her and quicker to leap up!

Eyes widened, Belinda would gasp out loudly as the knee of Valerie smacked into the chest of the blond! The collision of the two charging blonds ended with Belinda being thrown onto her back, coughing for air as her arms wrapped around her chest.

Valerie’s aim was to get the jump on her foe, to take Belinda before she had the chance to get up a proper guard. With that it mind, the mission was certainly successful. Moreso than even she could have hoped.

She let out a triumphant yell as her opponent went reeling, starting off with a fairly big chink in her armor when the match was still fresh. It wasn’t the most sporting move, she knew, but she hadn’t come here to be sporting. She was here to win - plain and simple.

No holding back. No mercy.

Belinda was only down for a few seconds before Valerie dropped down and moved in, looking to take control of the situation. Grabbing her by the head, she attempted to put the Northman’s neck over the ropes and press her knee down behind her skull, looking to make that gasping problem she had even worse. The referee wouldn’t approve and a count would surely come, but it wouldn’t matter - the damage would be done.

Belinda had been caught by surprise of Valeria's swiftness and her sudden aggression, it had certainly taken her aback, as she was currently on her back with an arm wrapped tightly around her hurting chest. She would grunt and try and turn over to her side, still coughing a bit as the air that was in her lungs had pratically rushed out up her throat!

She soon enough felt the hands of Valeria upon her head, grabbing at her short blond hair and dragged her towards the nearest ropes! Setting her neck against the bottom ropes and then suddenly that knee came down! Her airway was caught off as the weight of Valerie served as an effective way to keep the slightly smaller blond down. She would gag, gasp and coughing, hands grabbing at her own throat and the ropes, trying to pull them apart.

The referee moved up towards ValeriA and was about to tell her to get off, but with this being a no DQ match, there wasn't much she could do than give the controlling blond a stern dissaproving look!
