Winning Condition: The team that retrieves the tag belts that are suspended above the ring wins
Special Conditions: no DQ, a couple of ladders are left out at ringside in order to get the belt

”We can do this.” Tatiana chanted to herself, muttering under her breath like a crazy person. ”Wecandothiswecandothiswecanwecanwecan-”

It might’ve sounded weird, but it was pretty much the mantra that had been running through her head non-stop ever since Blazing Blizzard gave them a shot at the titles. Ever since that day, the match had just about been all she thought about. All she could think about, really, as Valerie made sure. The two of them had been drilling from dawn ‘til dusk since it went official sticking to a harsh training regiment. Working on cohesion, perfecting their tag maneuvers, making sure their best techniques were available. It was hard work, but it was supposed to be. Blazing Blizzard was the team to beat in Friction. Novae was the ‘Cinderella Story’, the no-name team that had a shot at the bigtime. This could make or break their entire career.

The pressure was on. Just a little.

Tatiana tried hard not let it psyche her out too much as she waited in the gorilla position, but it was hard to ignore the weight of it all. There she stood, decked out in a special white and gold costume that Valerie had made for the occasion, maybe, just maybe, mere minutes away from being a tag team champion. It was all so much to take in. Her parents would be proud of her. Valerie would be proud of her. And Belle…

As hard as it was, she tried to push her girlfriend out of her mind, just for a little while, as Valerie came striding over. Her sister had a domineering way of walking, always sort of looking like she was about to march in a parade, but today there was some extra force in her step. She was ready, she was willing, she wanted that championship more than anything she’d wanted in a long, long time.

”We’re almost up.” Valerie stepped in front of Tatiana and reached out, taking time to adjust her top, which honestly didn’t need the least bit of adjusting. ”Stick close to me, remember that.”

”I know.”

”I want you keeping an eye on the belt at all times. All we need is for one of them to slip away, get the ladder, and then-”

”I know.”

”And don’t let them take this match too far from the ring. Remember what the prize is.”

”I know.” She let out a long, exasperated groan as Valerie put the finishing touches on her top. ”I know, Val. I haven’t forgotten how the match works. Don’t worry, I’ve got this. We’ve got this.”

Valerie stepped back with a raised eyebrow and a grimace, looking like she might’ve been about to launch into a speech that Tatiana didn’t want to hear. Before she had the chance, however, one of the stagehands came over and gave them the go signal, putting them in the clear to make their entrance. ”I suppose we’ll see, won’t we?”

A few seconds later, Novae was making their entrance, coming out to their theme song. It was nothing that the crowd hadn’t seen before, really - they had new, fancy costumes, but the routine and moves were the same. What wasn’t the same, however, was the crowd itself. Larger. Bolder. Brighter. Everything was so much more than Tatiana had experienced in her other matches, and the sheer size was enough to leave her gasping.

She managed to keep it together as they came into the ring, as she and Valerie made her way over to her corner. As they went, Tatiana kept her eyes upward, looking at the belts as they passed under. Only ten or so feet up. So close, yet so far...

Belinda Northman awaited in the locker room as she and Chelsea were to go up second in this match...it was an odd feeling to be told that because you were the champion you were going to wait until after the challenger had made their way down into the ring. Yet, despite being a tag champion, Belinda didn't feel any less excited or rather stoked over this upcoming match.

She'd watched the match of Novae vs Onigashima and found the team they were facing to be quite interesting, no doubt they'd make for a tough challenge and a team that Chelsea and her would have to be careful not to be taken by surprise. Though having recently been in the position of the underdog and risen to the challenge with her partner and best friend Chelsea, in defeating Imperial Order, the two of them weren't about to let the gold get over their head.

Belinda would tighten her gloves around her hands and then clasp them tightly, but not too tight. She bounce a little on her feet, getting her chest to bounce a bit in her confines of her top. Rolling her shoulders she would pull her crop top jacket on and turn to her tag partner. Their outfits while polar opposite in color did match one another rather well, blue and white going together with black and red, as they both wore tight fitting shorts and similar types of jackets over their shoulders.

The Swede would walk up to Chelsea and give her a pat on her shoulder. " Ready to own the night?" Belinda asked as she would then step out of the locker room and walk to the Gorilla Position, waiting there for their theme to start, she would look back over to Chelsea. " No Pain, no game right? Haha!" Belinda tried a little pun to lighten the mood and tension as that was the name of their theme song, and surprisingly fitting for this being a ladder match. Belinda was sort of expecting to be thrown down onto a ladder tonight...so that wasn't going to be pleasant.

Chelsea went wbdious because of there opponents they were new and she was confident 9 out of 10 times they would win.. She didn't feel nervous about the crowd playing in front of large amounts of people never bothered her, and honestly she wasn't exactly afraid of showing off. She was anxious because unlike with the Imperials she had something to lose. The tag belt she cradled so close to her, she knew she earned it, she knew that no one else deserved to hold it, but she also wasn't eager to risk losing it in a ladder match, sure she was confident she and Belinda were the better team but they didn't have to be pinned to lose the belts, and if they did, then there feint would be short and without a single title defense. But these were just worries and ones she pushed out of her head, she won these belts for a reason and as far as she was concerned losing wasn't a possibility.

"Pssh..just don't let your admiration for them distract you. I wouldn't want to have to carry the whole match as usual." Chelsea winked at her partner before she started to make her way out to the ring, with the title in her hand that for once displayed her name as she came down to the ring looking as ready as possible, posing with the belt while marching down and high-fiving fans, Chelsea took in the sight of this place, her first actual Avalanche match and she was the second to last, it was a dream come true. Entering the ring and extending the ropes for Belinda to enter Chelsea slid on after her and handed her title to the ref after raising it in the air one last time. Once the ref had them she would put them on the rope to be raised and hung way out of reach for them without a ladder. And Chelsea intended to climb that ladder and take that belt back no matter what happened.

Belinda made her way down to the ring with her partner as the two of them wore their matching tag belts, each of which had their name emblazoned on them. The true signs that they were champions was the fact that it was their names on that belt. The Swede walked out with her friend and tag partner, making her way towards the ramp as the crowd cheered for the champions. It was an interesting match up to say the least as neither side was exactly disliked by the crowd.

When Chelsea decided to open up the ropes and allow Belinda to slip in the blond would do just that and then when she was in, would keep the ropes open for Chelsea to make her entrance a bit easier as well. In the ring, they would have to hand their belts to the referee as they would then be hooked up and raised up into the air, suspended high above the ring.

Belinda would pat the back of Chelsea and then turn towards their opponents, "Well, here we are! Biggest stage of our lives huh, Sydney! Now, you girls ready to fight it out with everything you've got?" Belinda asked their opponents, once again a team of a redhead and a blond opposed the Blazing Blizzard.

"Who of you two want to go first?" Belinda asked as she would shift her finger pointing between the two beauties.

And there they were. The champions.

It was hard for Tatiana to believe this was happening, even as it was happening, as reality unfolded right before her eyes. Here they came, two wrestlers who’d been in the sport far longer than her and her sister, ready to defend their hard-fought titles against them. Them.

It boggled the mind. Boggled it so much that Tatiana almost didn’t pick up on the question that was thrown their way. An elbow in the side from Valerie brought her back to reality. ”Oh, right!”

She stumbled forward, then shook it off and straightened up. Deep breath, eyes forward. Game time. ”I’ll go.” She drew her foot across the canvas, across an imaginary line in the sand. ”Fire and ice, who’s up first?”

Belinda would roll her shoulders a little as she saw the blond jab her sister in the side with her elbow. It seemed as if the redhead was up first. Belinda would nod her head and then look over at Chelsea.

Deciding to give her friend a little jab in the side as well, with her elbow. " You good to start us off? Seems like they are throwing their redhead up first." Belinda teased as she would smile towards her friend and tag partner.

She found it sort of funny, that they had just taken the belts from a team of a redhead and a blond, and now was facing off against another team consisting of a redhead and a blond.

"Intimidsted by redheads are we? Sure I can handle the heavy lifting, just handle the lightweight when I need to." Chelsea said strutting forward when Belinda volunteered her to go first. Facing off agaisnt her opponent who seemed starstruck to be here. Probably jus the poor rookie feeling shckmed at her big opening. Chelsea could understand on some level.

"The Blaze will be going first. This time of year is always so cold so it could've use some heating up." Chelsea added staring at her opponent. She knew the names of the two girls but not which one said names belonged to. So she refrained from actually saying a name until she could discern otherwise: instead watching the fellow redhead with determination.

With Chelsea accepting to go first, Belinda would nod her head and give a quick wave to the duo. " Don't worry, you'll be fine!" She said to the newer team, as she would then jab her elbow lightly into Chelsea's side. " Leave some for me okay?" The blond teased as she would then turn and walk towards the turnbuckle.

Leaving the ring as she would stand on the apron instead. Nodding her head as she would wait for the action to start, letting Chelsea and Valerie take to first go in this match.

Okay. Here goes. No pressure. Tatiana was only about to wrestle for the highest prize in her division. Right. Easy. Couldn’t be easier.

Oh, boy.

Tatiana kept her confident face on, but inside she was all butterflies, hardly keeping it together as Chelsea moved to face her. She did her best to ease into thing as the referee moved in to get things started. She threw a quick glance up, eying the belts one more time, the bell rang, and then…

”Go for it.”

After a quick whisper under her breath, Tatiana dashed forward and launched herself at Chelsea right away, leaping up and swinging her leg wide, attempting to take her off guard with an opening gamengiri to the face.
