Navi Florges vs. Blossom Fields - Grin and Bear It

”1…!”

Blossom didn’t move after the first slap of the mat. She wasn’t quite unconscious, but was in that sweet little space between the awake and the dreaming, floating free and barely aware of the world. She could hear the referee’s count, but she couldn’t connect the importance of it. Couldn't register it as urgent.

”2…!”

Another slap. Blossom was more aware now, knew what was going on, but that didn’t mean her body was getting on board. She made an attempt at moving, but got nothing more than a twitch - nowhere close to what she needed to force Navi off.

Despite feeling Blossom twitch at the second count (causing Navi to try and put more of her weight into the ground, to make sure kicking out was as difficult as she could make it), the referee's hand soon came down for the final time:

"THREE!"

DING DING DING!

Navi relaxed and pulled herself off of Blossom: "Good match.", she would tell half aware Blossom, actually surprised herself that she had words of praise for her opponent, considering how angry she entered the ring tonight.

She stood up and lifted her arms in victory, allowing her arms to be lifted by the referee. After a bit of victory posing to the crowd, she slipped from under the ropes, and made her way backstage...
