Trinity Cordova vs Liberty: Hardcore Debut

Trinity had finally gotten onto her hands and knees. But it took way longer than it should have done. The entire time her back was protesting against movement. It was like her spine had been replaced by concrete.

“Not the worst thing i have ever been through” She groaned as she carried on crawling on her hands and knees, trying to reach the ring, and get away from Liberty. She was going to go for an attack, but realised that Liberty was more than likely fresher than her right now, so attacking would just be inviting a counter attack.

If she made it to the ring without getting mauled or killed, she would grab onto the apron and begin to ever so slowly pull herself to her feet.

“Fuck...my back”

Liberty had done it. She’d dealt a major blow to her opponent, seriously hurt her, and the only thing to do from this point was to get up and reap the rewards. She was winning. She could pull this off.

She just needed to stand up.

On her feet.

She could do it.

Liberty tried to raise up, managed to get about halfway, and then her body decided it had enough of that and dragged her back down to earth. She laid there for a moment before making another attempt, this one a bit more successful. She was able to get up, just in time to see a wrecked Trinity trying the same thing, making a good for the ring. Yeah, no, this match wasn’t going back between the ropes if she could help it. Which she could.

Up to her knees, then up to her feet, she came at Trinity from behind and reached out to wrap her arms around the fledgling wrestler’s neck, looking to drag her back with a tight choke.

With every moment that this match went on, Trinity was starting to regret helping Liberty out. Maybe she should of just let the bitch bleed out. Still, Trinity held herself to a kind of code. That did mean however riding the worst with the best. Each step forward got her closer and closer to the ring, and closer to getting back onto her feet and into some sort of fighting condition.

Typically however she would not make it. Liberty came from behind and wrapped her arms around her neck and yanked her back, putting her in a neck choke. Trinity would gasp in surprise from the sudden hold. She would struggle for a while, tossing and jerking her body to try and make it uncomfortable for Liberty to maintain the hold. However that didn’t truly matter as Liberty had locked the hold with both her arms, making it near impossible to break by ripping her arms off. So it was time for another plan. She would fire her elbows backward, trying to strike the busty Italian in any place she could, she didn’t care about power, or location, as long as her elbow made contact with some form of skin, she was happy. She was doing her best to wear Liberty down and teach her that it would cost her dearly to maintain the hold any longer.

Liberty was many, many things, but a gifted submissionalist was never going to be one of them. That wasn’t to say she had no idea of technique or any of the finer aspects of wrestling, but they were never really her style, and most of the more complicated things she knew just came from osmosis - stuff that had been done to her so many times that she couldn’t help but pick up on it and add it to her repertoire.

In other words, the current choke was about the most nuanced move she could bust out. If only because it didn’t involve using blunt force trauma.

That being said, it still had its uses, and putting down a bigger woman like Trinity was definitely among them. For a moment, it seemed like this would even be the clencher. There was just one, tiny problem with that idea, however: Trinity could fight back.

And fight back she did, giving Liberty a punch of elbows for her trouble, ramming them deep into her body. She took two, three, four, five before it became all too much. Liberty let go of the hold and pushed Trinity away, cradling her sides while she groaned, hissing at the pain in her sides.

Trinity needed to break free. Submission holds were not her forte and it would be very easy for Liberty to finish her there and then if the hold was tight enough. For a moment Trinity thought it may have been the end though. Thankfully her elbows worked and she was finally free from the woman’s grasp.

“Going for a hold huh?” Trinity would cough slightly before straightening herself back up, her body still aching. This was going to be rough now. She would raise her fists and get herself back into a fighting stance. At least she could start getting some hits in. Trinity closed the gap between herself and the aching Liberty. When she was back in range she threw a left hook aiming at the dark haired woman’s cheek, only to be followed up with a right hook to the opposite side of her face.

“You know, however this fight ends, we should arrange a rematch… though perhaps next time have it away from here. Fuck these cameras”

This sucked. All of this sucked.

Trinity’s elbows did damage, more than Liberty had been expecting right out of the gate, leaving her gasping and breathless, hurting and heaving. It was an effort just to get her abdominals on the same page for her to sit up, much less mount any effort of an offense. She would be fine, she was sure, she just needed a few moments to collect herself. Get a hold of things.

This was time that Trinity wasn’t about to give her, though. The moment Liberty made it to one knee was the same moment that a hook crashed against the side of her skull, hitting like a sledgehammer. She could’ve withstood it, couldn’t hung on, but the hook that came after that made such a notion impossible.  

Liberty was sent flopping to the floor, dropping flat at Trinity’s feet, her lustrous black hair splayed all around. She started to push up after a few seconds, but it was a slow, sluggish process, trying to make the most of the fumes she was running on.

Liberty seemed to be almost finished. It was a shame. Trinity had hoped that this was going to be one of those legendary fights where it went on for days and both of them would end up almost killing each other. It seemed however that it was not meant to be. Looking at Liberty on the floor, Trinity would bend down and grab Liberty’s hair, trying to pull her up by the hair.

“Come on Liberty, I thought you were going to beat the living shit out of me!” Trinity would sigh as she finished lifting Liberty to her feet. Now that she was finished lifting her Trinity moved her over to the ring apron and leant her against it so she would have something to rest her body on. “Not so hardcore now are you?” Trinity smirked and then prepared for another assault. Unless Liberty had some secret stash of energy somewhere, then it looked like she was pretty much done for now.

Trinity took a step back to admire her handiwork. Liberty most certainly did look like a mess right now. Raising her fists again, Trinity went back to work on Liberty's face. She could have punched the rest of her body, but she really wanted to inflict damage so the face was her best bet. She rained down two more crosses towards Liberty, stacked up with the left fist first, followed by the right. She didn’t care where in the face they hit as long as Liberty hurt more, then Trinity was happy.

Where had all of this gone wrong? It was hard for Trinity to pinpoint the exact second where she’d fucked this whole thing up, where she’d let the match run away from her, but she knew there had to be some point where she made a critical mistake, ignored something, done something she shouldn’t have done if winning this match was a primary concern. She wasn’t just the veteran here, she was a former champ. She should’ve had this rookie beaten easy.

And yet, here she was.

It was hard to figure that out, though, with her head swimming from Trinity’s brutal strikes. She wasn’t able to muster much in the way of resistance as her hair was pulled, forcing her upwards, setting her roots on fire as she was leaned against the apron. Before she could even think about summoning enough faculties to fight back, two more punches crashed into her face, crossed that battered her face about and screwed up her vision.

Running on instinct more than anything, Liberty stumbled forward and lashed out with a sloppy barrage of punches that whiffed off their intended mark, her brain too scrambled to even make an accurate punch. She wound up falling to her knees beside Trinity, staring at the floor in disbelief.

It seemed as if Trinity had already won this one. Liberty was really not putting up any sort of resistance at this point. Her hurried punches had hit Trinity, causing a small yelp of pain to jump from Trinity’s lips. It was however at this point rather futile. Liberty just didn't seem to be able to inflict enough damage.

“Awh come on Liberty, don’t tell me you have given up already” Trinity scoffed looking down on the ground at the useless fighter beneath her. Leaning down, grabbed onto Liberty’s waist with both of her hands, lifting her up to her feet and holding her for a few seconds so she could regain her balance. While Trinity could beat the crap out of her while she was on the floor, but it didn’t feel quite right. Trinity prefered fights where everyone fought to the bitter end, and right now she felt like attacking Liberty while she was down just felt like she was taking advantage.

“So you up for that rematch sometime?” She smirked and would take a step back, letting Liberty stand on her feet properly “I am thinking, a private cage match, a pit possibly or perhaps a match at my place” Her smirk only grew bigger “Please tell me that you can still talk” she chuckled

It wasn’t the beating that was pissing Liberty off the most. She’d taken beatings before. She’d had it worse, though not much worse. In the grand scheme of things, this was bad, but nothing that she couldn’t recover from in, like, a day or two.

No, what was grinding her gears far more than anything was the banter. How she not only had to put up with Trinity’s offense, but her taunting, the way she was acting like this match was already over. A rookie, not taking her the least bit seriously. That shit was going to stop. She was going to knock that stupid smile off this bitch’s face. She just wasn’t sure how yet.

Trinity was in no hurry to press her advantage, and was even willing to ‘help’ Liberty back up, aiding her as she rose. Something about that gesture by itself was about all the insult she could take, and before she knew, she’d summoned enough energy to lash with a wide swing, hitting her with a move that was half palm strike and half of a straight up slap to the face - both of which Trinity deserved.

It probably wouldn’t hurt all that much, or do much towards evening the score, but it sure felt good.
