No DQ Match - Liberty vs Odessa

Liberty had been in a bad way in the weeks following the AFW Summer Splash in Atlantic City. Her Casino match had won her the Hardcore title against a hated enemy, but following the win she had been ambushed and beaten up really badly. It had taken days for her to recover in the hospital before she had even been allowed out of the bed. Even now, her face and body were sporting a lot more bruises than normal. Her crotch, which had been singled out for abuse, was still sore, and wasnâ€t lost on Liberty that she hadnâ€t been able to fuck for several long weeks. In short, what should have been a jubilant time for her had in fact been utterly miserable.

Back in Japan, doctors had advised her not to fight until she was fully recovered. Liberty was never fond of following orders though, and decided she needed a good scrap to cheer herself up. Her opponent for tonightâ€s match, Odessa Brock, seemed perfect. A privileged girl who had declared an interest in hardcore matches, she sounded exactly like the kind of overconfident diva that Liberty would enjoy ‘educating†in the ways of hardcore fighting.

It was actually a No DQ match and no titles were on the line, but anyone expecting a clean contest would surely be disappointed. As the lights came up on the AFW arena and her theme began to play, Liberty marched out onto the entrance ramp to much audience cheers.

She knew the fans would be looking at her bruises and watching her closely to see how she would come back from the PPV, but Liberty had a determined look in her grey eyes and headed confidently for the ring, microphone in hand.

“That Casino ambush? Disgraceful! AFW *let* that happen because they were afraid to see someone truly dangerous take centre stage! Itâ€s a conspiracy! Well, it will take more than that to keep me down! The medics told me not to wrestle tonight - but fuck that!” she declared to raucous cheers. “Let me show you what your Hardcore Champ is made of!”

Odessa had a little something to prove tonight, as well. Though she had arrived at AFW with the intention of participating in hardcore matches, it had not been until she had met Cecilia Northman that she had really been able to get her toes wet in that pool. Tonight, she had a chance to really prove herself of being capable of taking on the very toughest that AFW had to offer, for she was fighting the newly-crowned Hardcore champion, Liberty Vella.

Odessa strutted out into the arena as her theme began to play, garnering generous applause from the fans as she made her way to the ring. She slipped inside, and once in straightened up to her full height and cast her gaze at her opponent. This Liberty was dirty, and bruised, though she seemed to carry every mark and blemish as a source of pride. Odessa smiled. She could respect that, even though she herself honestly didnâ€t feel the same way about those sorts of things.

Odessa walked up to her opponent, arms crossed over her chest, but smiling. “I watched your Summer Splash match,” she said, loud enough that it should be picked up by the microphone which Liberty held. “It was a shame that they let that ambush happen. I donâ€t understand why a company of this size canâ€t hire adequate security to protect its wrestlers from such unexpected occurrences.” She held out her hand, offering Liberty a handshake before the match. “Iâ€m looking forward to seeing what a champion can do. I donâ€t think itâ€ll be enough to beat me, of course; but I definitely look forward to finding out.”

Liberty held the traces of a scowl as Odessa approached her. Big, certainly, but in comparison to the champ she was very well groomed. Probably whimper at the first broken nail, Liberty thought to herself grumpily. Then she realised her internal thoughts were overly negative at the moment. She should at least listen to what this girl had to say.

Her scowl lessened as Odessa sympathised about the ambush. “Well, yeah, damn straight, but AFW doesnâ€t try to protect its wrestlers, it only exploits them!” Liberty replied with a bit of polemic.

Pleased that this girl didnâ€t seem entirely unreasonable, she took Odessaâ€s hand and shook it fairly. Libertyâ€s expression darkened again though as the white-haired girl boasted about her skill. “Oh, Iâ€m sure, princess,” she answered sarcastically. “So, uh, what WOULD it take to beat you?” she added with a wry grin.

She was still shaking Odessaâ€s hand, but with her final point she would tighten the grip somewhat.

Odessa sized Liberty up, giving the champion a thorough looking-over. The two of them were the same height, and Liberty was generously built, obviously a strong girl, but also sexy, with an ample chest and smooth, curvy hips. Odessa loved taking on women like this. She had to admit, the championâ€s dirtiness was something of a turn-off, but Odessa could scarcely complain about that.

“I agree, I agree,” she said, nodding as Liberty vented her frustrations about AFW. Odessa hadnâ€t really experienced anything of the nature of the ambush herself, but she had to wonder how attacks such as that could be allowed to happen.

“What would it take to beat me?” Odessa repeated with a grin. “Oh, darling, you donâ€t expect me to divulge all of my secrets, now do you? Youâ€ll just have to wait and see what I have in store for you.” She felt Libertyâ€s grip on her hand tighten, and she would tighten hers in return, and clasp her left hand over Libertyâ€s right. The message was clear: if Liberty wanted to start the match right now, she may, but she should know that Odessa was ready to go, as well.

As Odessa clamped a second hand over hers, Liberty paused and looked straight into the other girlâ€s bright green eyes. She smiled calmly, and clasped her own hand down as well, so all their arms were placed right in front of them.

“Wait and see, huh?” she replied, licking her lips thoughtfully. Yeah, she probably wasnâ€t going to do that. Especially not after being called “darling”.

The calm before the storm soon ended as Liberty suddenly stepped forwards and butted her head at the centre of Odessaâ€s face, looking to get things going with a quick, aggressive strike.

Odessa clasped her left hand over Libertyâ€s right. Then, Liberty clasped her left hand over Odessaâ€s right. Now, both women had their hands in play. They each knew what the other was thinking as their grip on each other tightened. The fight wasnâ€t going to wait even one more second in order to begin.

Liberty struck first, flinging her head forwards and smacking her forehead hard into Odessaâ€s. The ebony beauty grunted as she teetered back a few inches, her face momentarily throbbing after the harsh impact between it and Libertyâ€s. The match had started. Belatedly, the bell rang.

Odessa would quickly strike back, not willing to give Liberty any sort of distinct advantage this early. She would swing a leg forward, trying to land a hard kick to her darker-haired, lighter-skinned opponentâ€s leg, shoving her foot into it hard in order to try to unbalance her and send Liberty toppling over onto her back, hopefully with Odessa on top so that she could put the champion through her paces. She ignored the pain in her face, knowing there were more important things to think about.

Liberty was pleased to score the first blow but Odessa wasnâ€t quite as stunned by it as the punk would have liked. In fact, Liberty even found her own skull a little rattled by the move, a worrying hangover from her time in hospital.

The brief pause following the clash of heads was soon punctured by the bell, and the simultaneous strike from Odessa. Liberty grunted as her leg was kicked out from under her, toppling backwards for a second before falling to the mat.

She threw her hands out behind her, cushioning the fall a little so she didnâ€t smack her ass too hard. Still, she was left sitting on her hands, with Odessa bearing down on her. Liberty instinctively lashed her own leg up at Odessa, hoping to get lucky with her steel-toed boots, before she was thoroughly floored.

Odessaâ€s face was still smarting after a few seconds, and she imagined that it was going to be irritating her for a while. But Odessa wasnâ€t the sort of woman who would let an impact like that rattle her very easily. If Liberty wanted to do some serious damage to Odessa that way, the dirty woman would have to be willing to risk her own skull in the impact, as well!

Odessaâ€s counterattack was very successful, and she toppled the hardcore champion to the mat, falling on top of her, trying to pin her down and keep her there so that she might start working the champion over. As Odessa came down on top of Liberty, Libertyâ€s boot came up to meet her, smashing into her inner thigh just a couple of inches away from her groin. Odessa groaned and fell over sideways onto the canvas next to Liberty, trying to get back up onto her knees before the champion had a chance to get on top of her while she was down.

Liberty slowly sat upright, pleased to have given Odessa a taste of her steel, even if it was just a glancing blow - it had been enough to keep the big ebony wrestler off of her.

She looked over to see Odessa getting up onto her knees, and decided to strike before the other girl was standing again. Liberty scrambled towards Odessa on all fours, trying to get behind her opponent and throw her arms around Odessaâ€s neck, hoping to lock Ms Brock in a kneeling sleeper hold.

Libertyâ€s boot felt heavy as it slammed into Odessaâ€s thigh. The British woman hadnâ€t been able to tell by looking at it, but she now knew that the championâ€s boot was steel-toed. Odessa would need to be careful. Something like that could break bones if it hit her in the wrong place.

She got up to her knees as fast as she could, but Liberty managed to be a little bit faster. The Hardcore Champion slipped behind Odessa and threw her arms around the ebony beautyâ€s neck, putting her in a sleeper hold and trying to choke her out. “Kkhh…” Odessa grunted, as she felt her airway restricted, her opponentâ€s arms preventing the flow of oxygen to her lungs. She only had a few seconds before she would start to weaken from the hold. Odessa would make the most of them.

She would grab onto Libertyâ€s hair, sinking her hands into the long, dark locks. She would shift her legs underneath her, getting her feet on the canvas and maneuvering into a squatting position. Then, Odessa would lunge up and forwards, hoping to use her hold on Libertyâ€s hair to drag her along. Odessa would then tuck her body down and try to flip her opponent over her, intending to throw Liberty onto her back on the mat.
