Trinity Cordova vs Liberty: Hardcore Debut

Trinity didn’t enjoy the taste of blood. But she did what she did to try and freak out Liberty. It seemed to have some effect. But perhaps not as a extreme reaction that Trinity would have wanted. Still. She felt bad. Trinity had a conscious. While she wanted to win, and she had no issue punching Liberty around, that early bleeding could leave her in trouble. Walking over to Liberty she would pick her up and sit her on the chair she had laid out before.

“Stay there!” Trinity ordered as she walked over to the barricades and saw a overzealous fan waving in the crowd at the front. She reached out and grabbed onto his tee, pulling as hard as she could and causing it to rip. As she walked back to Liberty, she began to rip the fabric into strips. When she got close enough, she placed her foot on the chair between Liberty’s legs and pressed the first piece of fabric against the wound to compress it. “Stay fucking still!” Trinity complained as she took the second strip and began to run it around her head, being careful not to cover her eyes. She repeated the process for a third stirp before tying them together to secure it.

“There you go” Trinity would take a few steps back, just incase Liberty tried a surprise attack. “Stand up and let’s go again. Can’t have you bleeding out before i get to give you free facial reconstructive surgery with my fists.”

Liberty was confused, and that confusion wasn’t going to get any better in the coming moments. She’d been on the floor, reeling, trying to get her together after the thorough headrocking Trinity gave her. The woman was kind of a bitch, but she couldn’t deny how good she was at pouring on the pressure, and the former hardcore champ was starting to feel like her time was running out. There was so many ways that she could’ve gotten fucked up from this point. Wide open. Begging for it.

But Trinity didn’t follow up. She didn’t even really press her advantage. Instead, she took her time to, well…
”What?” Liberty laid there as Trinity stole some dude’s shirt, ripped it apart, then came over and proceeded to do what amounted to a field dressing on her - her opponent - in the middle of a match. She didn’t move while it happened, because she found it hard to believe it was even going down. It was surreal. If Trinity had suddenly sprouted wings and started shooting fairy dust all over the place, it wouldn’t have surprised her half as much.

When it was over, she had a freshly wrapped head and a befuddled stare for her opponent, not sure what to say for an awkward moment.

Words reached her lips soon enough, though.

”Um...thanks?” She raised an eyebrow and made an attempt at standing up. ”You are a weird wrestler. Really.”

“Look. If i left you to keep bleeding there, I would have won and all that… but you would have bled out half way through and it would not have been fun at all” Trinity smirked, looked over at Liberty. “I want to win, but I want to cause you pass out after I have done smashing your face into pieces”

Trinity would look at the standing up Liberty and then raised her fists, getting back into her boxing like stance “Now let's get back to it” Trinity would start to approach Liberty, cautiously incase she decided to lash out and surprise attack. Once Trinity got close enough she would throw a left hook at the dirty Italians face “Ha!”

Liberty listened to Trinity’s explanation, heard her all the way through, and her face wrinkled up at the end of it. Confused and not afraid to show. ”I feel like that’s a weird kind of logic to have, but...okay, sure. Whatever works for you.”

For what it was worth, Trinity at least did a good job, getting the wound wrapped up nice and tight. It wouldn’t be coming out any time soon, at the very least, so the match was back on. Now, it was up to Liberty to make sure she regretted that good samaritan act.

The break had served her well, giving some pep back to her step, and she had the added benefit of better understanding what she was up against, now. When Trinity came in swinging, she had a better answer this time, ducking under the blow and charging forward a split second later, looking to hit the bigger woman with a tackle and slam her into the announcer’s desk.

Trinity almost instantly regretted helping Liberty. She knew in the long term it was going to go back and haunt her, but she wasn’t a total savage. She was here for the fight, not for killing someone. Despite what she might look like. Trinity went in with a punch, hoping to knock Liberty back onto the floor for a ground and pound, but instead of hitting her, Trinity got picked up and ran right into the announcers desk with a crash!

And there was her spine again. That pain she had been focusing on trying to numb away was back front, line and center. Letting out a groan, Trinity lay against the desk for a second, not reacting. Her back far too sore to move at this point. “Always the fucking spine with you isn’t it?” She grumbled in both pain and annoyance. Clearly she knew a follow up was coming, but what it was remained to be seen.

The commentator’s dropped what they were doing, got out of their seats, and immediately moved away when Liberty crashed into their table at full force, hitting it hard enough move the entire desk a whole foot. Good move on their part, really - this was a hardcore match, and one with Liberty Vella. If history was a good indicator, the farther away from her they were at the moment, the healthier they’d be.

The same couldn’t be said for Trinity, however, as her back crashed into the table and left her reeling. For the time being, Liberty had an advantage over the bigger woman, had her on the defense and hurting. She just hoped she could keep things in her favor long enough for it to matter.

”Something like that.” She reached up, balled her fists together in an axe handle, and drove it down hard into Trinity’s chest, looking to hurt her and pushed her on top of the desk in the same move. Once that was done, she could focus on getting to the more interesting bits...

There was also to be said about hindsight and how wonderful it was. If she had known that Liberty would have gone for another spine attack, maybe she would have thought twice about taking the time to stop the bleeding. Now here she was, lying slumped against the commentary table which had now moved a fair distance. Trinity spine schedule, refusing to let her move.

Which was a bad thing, as Liberty seemed to have plans for her. Raising both her hands Liberty would bring them back down with force, hitting Trinity square in the chest with an axe handle, causing Trinity to groan in pain as well as winding her in the process. The axe handle have enough force to push Trinity onto the table proper, her legs now dangling down the side. She wanted to make a witty comeback. She really did, but she was too winded to say something. Besides, how did you make a comeback when you were at someone's mercy?

Target in position? Check.

Trinity was a big bitch, a big strong bitch, but she wasn’t invincible. There was only so much she could stand, and it seemed like she was reaching her predetermined limits. Liberty laid her out, had her loopy on the table, and the opportunity was too big to pass up. It was time to go airborne.

She raised her fist to the sky, letting the crowd in on her plans, and made her way over to the barricade, psyching them up along the way. She climbed her way on top, and after a little wobbling to work out the balance issues, she was able to stand tall and look down on Trinity from a few away.

A deep breath. A quick prayer.

Liberty leaped off the barricade, raised her arm up, and attempted to send Trinity through the table with her signature elbow drop, a move she liked to call the Market Crash.

For the entire match so far, Trinity really had one golden rule: Avoid those metal plates. Those nasty little fuckers would end up putting her in hospital if they were ever used. So far she had done a good job of avoiding them, mostly by making sure Liberty didn’t have a chance to fight back. Though that time had now past and Liberty was firmly in control. Here Trinity was, lying on a table, feeling completely numb in her back, and too winded to actually move.

She hadn’t had a chance to race where Liberty went. All she could here was a cheering crowd, so she knew she must be setting something up. Trinity needed to move. She really needed to move. As if she needed any more confirmation, she could now see Liberty in the corner of her leftmost eye. The only way she could have seen that was if she was up high. So now she knew what Liberty was planning. It was now imperative that she moved. But she couldn’t. She really couldn’t.

What happened next was a bit of a blur. All she could remember was the sigh of Liberty getting closer and closer. And a loud bang, there was a bang too. The elbow drop nailed Trinity perfectly, the resulting pressure shattering the desk into pieces of wood and metal. The metal padded elbow had buried itself deep within Trinity and had left a nasty bruise, that even though it was only a few seconds old, was already going purple. On top of that her back was in even more pain. The resulting smash had released a scream from Trinity’s lips. Lying on the floor in the wreckage, Trinity would start groaning, trying to move around. Her body would slowly react. Her vision slowly coming back from a blur. She rolled onto her side, trying to get onto her hands and knees.

Liberty, despite popular belief, did have some sense of self-preservation. There was a little voice in her head, one that often warned her about doing this or that. ‘Watch out for those wires, Liberty’. ‘Don’t jump into that pile of lightbulbs and barbwire, Liberty’. She always ignored that voice, but it never went away. Not even now, as she flew through the hair, her hair streaming behind her as she soared in a brilliant arch.

Flying, soaring, coming down, all for a big, deafening crash.

It wasn't pretty - not by most definitions of pretty, anyway.

It would be more apt to describe it as trainwreck. Wood and plastic and metal exploded in every direction, erupting around them, demolishing the table and everything around it in an instant. She hit her target head on, but that hardly meant that Liberty could enjoy a soft landing - she wound up writhing in the rubble, squirming about as the shock ran through her system.

But she was smiling. How could she not? ”Gotcha, bitch.”
