Vespa vs Hikaru Sawazaki- Standard Match

Vespa was seeing stars due to the punch, the nerves in her face were all firing out of control, and Vespa was yelling. Though her screaming came more from the frustration that her opponent got the drop on her when she had the advantage. Vespa made a note in her head to pay her back for putting her in such a shameful state.

That would have to wait though, as the small Invader gave out a yell and what sounded like a charge. Vespa didn’t worry, the small girl couldn’t knock Vespa over with such low momentum, even in her blinded state. It was a surprise then to suddenly feel a heavy weight on her shoulders, and a grip around her head.

Hikaru’s hurricanrana went off without a hitch. While normally it would be tough for someone to throw Vespa, she was braced to be pushed backwards and was easily thrown forwards. Smashing onto the floor, Vespa’s tailbone took most of the damage, the fresh, sharp pain clearing up the stars in her eyes.

Gritting her teeth, Vespa would begin to stand back up, shooting Hikaru an angry glare. She was planning her retaliation, but due to the pain in her lower back she hesitated to move too fast.

Hikaru was fired up, and when she rose to her feet she saw Vespa also rising. What did it take to keep her down? Hikaru was determined to find out. She crouched low, her arms up as she eyed Vespa. She was going to send this honey bee back to the beehive if she had her way.

Hikaru stepped up, crouching low before exploding upwards, hit fist moving quickly as she tried to aim an uppercut right into Vespa's jaw as hard as she could! Hikaru wasn't the best striker but she felt like a direct attack again against this woman was the way to go. She needed to pull out all the stops in her debut!

Vespa had a high pain tolerance, anyone that had faced her before could attest to that. Able to take heavy attacks and still go on fanatically ranting about her Queen and Hive, she is a true force to be reckoned with if left unchecked. However, despite her beliefs, she is still human, and with a consistent enough stream of attacks she will eventually fall no matter how devoted to her Queen she may be.

Vespa was aware of this and began to worry the Invaders continuing attack would eventually catch up with her. As a proud soldier of the Hive, to fall to such a pitifully small invader with such little resistance would not only shame Vespa, but her Queen. Vespa could accept any kind of shame if it was her alone, but never her Queen.

When Hikaru crouched low and then shot up like a bullet, Vespa had a split second to make a decision. In the end, she did one of the few things she hated most.

She retreated.

Vespa just barley avoided the fist flying towards her jaw, her bangs actually moved from the force of the blow. The quick movement bugged her lower back, a dull spark of pain flashing down her spine. The pain brought a fresh wave of anger, coupled with her wounded pride, Vespa struck back, firing an arm aimed straight for Hikaru’s throat. Her fingers would outstretch and prepare to lock around the Invaders neck should her aim hold steady and forcefully lift her up from the mat.

Vespa would prove to the Queen she was not unworthy to serve the flashiest way she knew how. Through sheer brute force and strength!

Hikaru missed horribly, and felt a hard strike hammer her throat as Vespa reached out and began choking her! She reached up grabbing at Vespa's wrists struggling against her grip in vain. Hikaru couldn't be so in effective on the big stage could she? Hikaru knew she had to do all she could, and she felt she had done that.

Hikaru wasn't out of ideas and wasn't about to panic. She still had her legs and was about to try to use them! She tried to angle her body right and send a sharp kick up at Vespa's elbow in an attempt to free herself from the nasty choke hold the young woman found herself in!

Vespa’s smile returned to her face, her captured prey wriggling in the air, helpless in her grasp. She focused all her strength in keeping her smaller opponent in the air with one arm. An impressive display of strength, but difficult to maintain.

Vespa’s arm began to burn, but she didn’t care. This was merely a demonstration of her strength, to impress the Hive and her Queen and instill fear into those watching. Still, she had to wrap this hold up quickly.

With a cackle, she would yell loud enough to drown out the crowd, “FOR THE ROYALTY!” before throwing Hikaru down in a chokeslam.

However, her prey wouldn’t take it lying down. A sharp kick cracked against Vespa’s elbow, causing a strange pins and needles feeling to fun up Vespa’s arm. Vespa’s focus turned to the strange feeling in her arm rather than the strength of her chokeslam, making a devastating slam turn closer to a violent or brutal attack. If the move was pulled off, Vespa would focus on her arm, trying to diagnose if it was damaged in any way.

Hikaru tried to escape but her attempts didn't really do anything to aid her! She was lift up and crashed hard to the mat screaming out in agony as the choke slam led to a thunderous impact! Hikaru was laid out, her offense in the match seeming to do no good as Vespa shrugged it off and laid Hikaru out on her back.

After the chokeslam, Vespa seemed preoccupied with her arm, not even acknowledging the painful scream of her opponent. The pins and needles feeling wouldn’t go away, and she was nervous something may be damaged. She didn’t care so much for her own wellbeing, but to have such severe damage after receiving her first orders from the Royalty didn’t sit right with her.

She flexed her arm a few times, moved each finger, then rolled her shoulder. Everything seemed to be working fine, but it was probably best to watch it for now.

Finally, Vespa looked over at her downed opponent. The chokeslam had done its job well. Even after her checkup on her arm Hikaru seemed to still be lying there, winded from the slam.

“I must commend you, Invader,” Vespa said, approaching her downed form, “You lasted longer than I expected. It still wasn’t very long, but nonetheless the Hive must surely be entertained.”

Vespa would put a foot down on Hikaru’s chest, a cocky pin, but Vespa meant no disrespect by it.

“My Queen insists I best you this way. Be thankful for her mercy invader, for otherwise I would show you none.”

The referee would suddenly appear next to Hikaru, beginning the count.

“ONE!”

Hikaru was still laid out as the count continued. She wanted to move but her body just wasn't cooperating.

"TWO!"

The referee's hand went back up but before it could hit the mat a third time Hikaru thrust a shoulder up to break the pin! "Ngh! I can't get beat like this!" Hikaru said as she tried to roll away in order to rise up to her feet without taking any more hits. She grit her teeth, trying to rise up although she stumbled as she eventually made it back up. "I am going to shut your mouth, and keep you from talking crazy nonsense." Hikaru said, trying to sound intimidating even though she didn't come across as threatening given how her face was still stick in a wince of pain.

Vespa’s foot was forcibly removed from its dominating position atop Hikaru’s chest. The Invader was still conscious, and willing to fight on. She rolled away from Vespa, who made no attempt to chase her, her idea of honor not letting her attack a downed opponent that was weaker than her.

The girl seemed to struggle to get to the other side of the ring. She tried to stand, but stumbled, her determination to beat Vespa seemed to be the only thing that kept her standing. Vespa watched, annoyed at the girl’s tenacity. Things would have been so much faster had she just stayed down. The Invader even went as far as to challenge Vespa, saying she spoke “nonsense”. It was hard to take it seriously, though. The girl was still in immense pain after all.

“So, you still have some fight left in you? A mistake I intend to correct.”

With that, Vespa once again rushed Hikaru with an outstretched hand, looking to grab ahold of her once again. Her damaged arm seemed to be trailing behind, leaving an opening that left a side of Vespa’s body, including her head, Defenseless.

Hikaru saw Vespa reaching out again and scowled. If she thought she could do the same thing twice in a row to Hikaru she was mistaken! Hikaru saw her coming and went low, kicking her legs out to trap Vespa in a drop toe hold, sending her to the mat face first! If this could stun her for even a moment Hikaru would jump on top of the beehive woman, sitting on her back and reaching her hands underneath her chin to pull back!

Hikaru wanted to lock in the camel clutch on her and wrench back, applying as much pressure as she could! she needed time to recover still and this would allow her to do so while putting Vespa in a painful hold!
