Sky Captain Rosemary Maynard vs Yayuuki "Lucky" Sakura

Her face had gone a bit red with more than just pain or strain. Sakura’s cutsey demeanor mixed with how she was manhandling The Sky Captain was a bit embarrassing. Despite how you'd Rose was, she was more or less a veteran wrestler. She had started out so strong, but before she had even gotten in any offense here she was trapped in the middle of the ring. By a cheerleader.

“Arg!” Rose let out a low whine as she was wrenched back roughly after being so bold as to demand release. She could feel the slow grinding progress, one finger at a time, but she was on the clock against the woman on her back content to bend her in half. Baby steps seems completely unacceptable at this point, she needed to be free. Not just to fly, but to survive.

The briefest of relief came when Sakura started moving. Some kind of transition that, to be frank, Rosemary hadn't concerned herself with. The moment the girl took weight off her back, the brunette went into a scramble to get to the ropes, not getting terribly far before the cheerleader’s weight dropped back down on her upper back, pinning her chest back to the map.

The steeper angle of the hold provided her with no means to fight back as Sakura almost immediately had the move fully applied. Rose continued to kick, efforts to flail failing as she pushed ineffectively at Sakura’s thoughts with her trapped limb. Her free hand reached up to the hands clamped down on her, trying desperately to push them up face her face so she could slide her face out, though it was unlikely to work.

Her frantic kicking stopped. It had to. The likelihood of her breaking free in her own was unlikely unless her opponent had make a mistaken or showed mercy. She needed the ropes. There was no way around it. “Nnnngh!”

She dug her boots into the canvas, finding purchase before shoving at the ground to slide the two of them along the mat. It was little by little at a slightly pace, but it was that little bit that kept her going as the ropes got closer and closer. She couldn't see them locked in the crossface, but she could hear the swell of the crowd as she fought through the hold and came closer to escape. She pulled her free hand away, awkwardly feeling it through the air to find the nearing ropes to try to grasp for them.

Sakura merely hummed a soft tune to herself as she steadily cranked up the pressure upon her Captain's limbs, giving the the what-for in the best way she could! Rosemary flailed and fought, cried and growled as she kicked repeatedly at the canvas in a desperate attempt to be free! Desperate... if futile. All the floor-kicking in the world wasn't going to get the highly acrobatic Rose out of her grip... And she seemed to realize that. With her struggle for freedom coming to an end, her entrapped opponent instead clawed desperately for the nearest ropes, going for a break! Lucky's eyes widened as she found them inching closer and closer, responding by using her free foot to try and scrabble them both back towards the center....

ROPE BREAK!

The Cheer-leader blinked, looking down to see that the air-captain's fingers resting on the ropes, barely making contact! Barely was still barely though and lest she want a 10-count disqualification, she was gonna have to let go! Lucky unwound herself from around Rosemary, but she wouldn't give her any room to breath! She would grab at her legs (quite beautiful ones if she had to make such an observation), giving her a HARD jerk to rip her off the ropes and slam her back against the canvas!

She wouldn't give Rina any leeway... Noooooooo siiiiiir. She was far too acrobatic and did ANYONE see that dodge at the start!? And besides... It wouldn't be nice to give her slack... That'd be... like... dishonorable and stuff! If Rosemary was anything like the captain she was dressed up as, she'd understand that!

And so, in honor of keeping Honor, Sakura would raise her boot to deliver a hearty stomp to Rose's torso, striking her right in the rib!

Rosemary’s hand floated just outside the range of the ropes as she blindly grasped for her salvation. The constant pressure Sakura was applying to her was pushing her to her limits already. She couldn't get the girl’s sweet humming out of her head as her embarrassment only grew. Finally her fingertips brushed the ropes giving her a faint glimmer of hope. Just a bit further and she grabbed it hard, crying out.

The Sky Captain fell forward, slumping against the canvas as she was released. Hand clenched tightly around the rope, she lay breathing heavily with her cheek pressed to the mat. Once Sakura had dismounted her, she lost track of her foe until she felt hands on her ankles. The cheerleader gave her a hard yank, her grip on the rope fought the pull, bringing her body briefly up off the canvas before she was ripped away to flop back on the mat. “Oof!”

Sakura’s definition of honor was questionable at best as she stomped the Rosemary on the ground. “Agh!” The Sky Captains arms reached out, trying to grab hold of the girls leg, hugging the girls leg close to her chest. She would try to give the leg a hard tug, trying to sweep the cheerleader off her feet to put them both on the ground.

Sakura had this start in the BAG! A couple submissions and a stomp and already she had Cap on the ropes! She already looked like she was struggling, tired, and desperate! Wow! Was this match going to end in only a couple minutes! Lucky was going to pay for the hubris with a tug from Rose taking out her leg and throwing her off balance!

"Hey..." She mumbled suspiciously as her Captain reached out and grabbed at her leg. "What're you... AAAAH!" Suddenly, her limb was pulled out from under her, sending the poor cheer-leader to fall hard on her back, knocking a little bit of wind from her lungs. "UGH! Oww..." She looked down to see Rosemary's arm wrapped around her leg, hugging it close to her chest. SO close, in fact, she could feel Rosemary's breasts press somewhat hotly against her, making a light blush flash across the cheer-leader's cheeks! She really was such a perv.... The smallest incitement of something and there went the fantasies.

"Hey... Let gooooo!" She protested, jerking her leg back and forth, trying to pry it free from the grip of the air-captain. "I need that for walking and locks and stuff!" She doubted that her protests for freedom would be heeded by her awesome opponent in the middle of a match, especially since she just turned the tables!

"Please...?" She offered. She didn't want to start stomping on that beautiful face of hers but if Rosemary didn't let go, she would have no choice!

Rose clung onto Sakura’s leg as if the match depended on it. With how poorly things had gone in her favor thus far, it very well might have. As she pulled on the limb and brought the cheerleader down to the mat, she briefly consider d trying her own submissions, but tossed that school of thought away. She was no submissionist, certainly less of one than her opponent. She needed to avoid putting herself in a predicament the other girl was likely to reverse.

She hung onto the earlier comment about her wanting to stop her from flipping at her. It could be the other girl had issues with that sort of offense? It was possible the girl had just  been making small talk  and teasing her, but she had  to work with something and this seemed like a good jump off point. Rose needed to get back to her feet and start playing to her own strengths.

She threw her own legs up in the air, kicking hard to build momentum, spinning herself on the mat as her legs cut through the air as if she were breakdancing. It lifted her, shifted her angle, and ultimately landed her back on one knee where she would stand up from, bringing Lucky’s leg with her. She stood at the end of the other girl’s legs, trying to scoop up the other one in her hand.

"Sorry, both of those things are standing in my way of deafeating you. I hope you understand." why was this girl even cute when she was whining? Taking a deep breath in preparation, she hopped once to put some spring into her feet before flipping forward, right over her opponent. She carried the girls legs with her, using the momentum to try and bend the girl in half by hyperextending both to the limits of the girls flexibility. She would land the flip not on her feet, but her backside, attempting to plant her booty right on Lucky’s face to smash it into the mat.

Rosemary carried her momentum, letting go of the girls legs to tumble forward back to her feet where she came to an abrupt stop, threw her hands up, and flipped back the way she came in an acrobatic display. What started as a standing moonsault changed into a mid air corkscrew as she tried to come down sideway on Lucky’s chest, hard, to cover her for a Pinfall.

Sakura really started to struggle now when Rosemary got to her feet, now clutching both of her legs in her hands, holding them up threateningly! Her pleads had gone unheard as the captain took her legs.... and decided to pay her back for all those submissions by torturing her legs! The Captain, in all her flippy glory, flipped right on over using Sakura's body as a support, forcing to them to bend at an extreme angle like some kind of reverse boston-crab or something!

"AAAH!" She cried out, reaching up wildly to claw at Rosemary's fingers in an attempt to free herself but it was all in vain! Her hands were too far up near the bottoms of her boots, impossible to reach from this angle! "N-NO! I... I DON'T! STOPITSTOPITSTO-" She stopped it.... After a few agonizing moments, it seemed Rosemary had decided to be merciful, letting go of her legs to do a rather stylish flip back to her feet! Sakura groaned heavily as she flopped back down, folding her knees back up to her chest and cradling her poor legs... The word "Ow" didn't even begin to describe the sharp burn that had been ripped up her thighs and knees... And it was only going to get worse from there! Little did Lucky realize, Her captain was already in the air right above her, body out stretched to slam right into hers!

...Only the legs she's been cradling had gotten in the way...

Unwittingly, Lucky had put up a double-edged defense, the air-captain instead slamming on the edges of her lower-legs and knees instead of her softer stomach and chest! Still, the force of a human body crashing down upon retracted legs made her tendons CRY in protest, tears starting to bubble up in the corner of her eyes!

"NNNNNNH!" She hissed, shoving Rosemary off her and rolling over on her side. "OwowowowOOW..."

Some wrestlers trained hard to improve certain aspects of their offense. Training on the weighted bag for their punches, weights for their lifting, all sort of things just to add a bit of extra oomph to a part of them. Rosemary did a little bit of everything. She wasn't the strongest or the fastest, hell, she wasn't even the most technically skilled. But she was a living weapon. There was no one part of her that made up who or what she was, no easy training, no cheap shortcuts. She was a tiny steamroller, and when she got moving, boy was it hard to stop her.

One she had gotten hold of Sakura, leaving her opponent in a precarious position this time, she took full advantage of her style to lay on the hurt and bedazzle the crowd. Her initial flip went off without a hitch, bending Sakura’s legs so far she had almost bent the girl in half like a folding table. She knew it had hurt by how tense the girls legs had got, stretched to their limit by the time her backside had landed on the girl’s head before she rolled forward.

Without looking, she sprang up in place, flipping through the air backwards, spiraling towards her destination. A devastating combination into an early pin. Maybe she would pick up the win before things got rolling. It only had known just how lucky Sakura was, true to her namesake.

“Guuh!” Rosemary's eyes shot wide as she buried Sakura’s upturned legs into her midsection, gravity working against her. She let out a choked gasp, one that last the audience cringing and holding their breath with how painful it looked. Rosemary could attend it hurt just as much if not worse than it appeared. She crumpled up against her downed opponent, paralyzed by pain and lack of breath. It wasn't until she was shoved aside she had finally dismounted the girl’s legs.

Rosemary was rolled off of Sakura, flopping to the canvas with a dull this as she lay their gasping, slowly curling up into a ball as her arms wrapped themselves around her stomach. Her boots kicked the mat lightly as she closed her eyes tight, trying to fight through the pain.

"NNnngh..." she groaned, looking over at Rosemary who was having a much worse time than she was! Her poor captain was flopped over on her belly, kicking the mat in agony as the breath was completely knocked out of her! Lucky wouldn't lie... She felt pretty bad for her... That REALLY looked like it hurt! Just by looking on her face a little bit, Lucky could feel the pain a little in her stomach, her mind creating a pale simulation of the sensation of knees digging into her guts...

"Oh... Wow... I'm sorry..." She mumbled, crawling up to her hands and knees. "I... I didn't mean to..." And she meant it too! OH THE GUILT SHE FELT seeing Rosemary incapacitated like this... Were it on purpose, she wouldn't have had a second thought about it and had gone on with the fight! You know... because it was part of the plan! Since it wasn't and was an extension of her luck, it just felt... wrong to enjoy that the ball was once again in her court. She had the advantage now... but at what cost!? Rose looked terrible...

"Hey..." She said, getting to her feet slowly and holding out a hand as a sign of friendship to help her up. "Let me help you up... that wasn't fair." As ruthless as Sakura could be in a match, when it came to circumstances like this, her morals simply got the better of her... Rose was such a nice girl, a beautiful one at that and a great wrestler... It was CRIMINAL to take advantage the way she was now: Paralyzed! If the Captain too her hand, Lucky would smile warmly and pull her to her feet.

"Sorry..." She said again. "Wanna start over...?"

Rosemary winced, peering up to Sakura is is loomed beside her doubled over body. She seemed hesitant to take the girl’s hand with being in this business long enough, a bit of healthy paranoia was good. She was however fulfilling the role of a heroine, one that sometimes needed to walk into traps to keep the moral high ground. Reluctantly she reached to to grab hold of Sakura’s hand to start to pull herself to her feet.

“Thanks… really sweet of you.” Rosemary stood slightly hunched, still clutching her stomach with one arm. It really was nice to face someone this genuinely nice, though part of her disliked the break in competition given the girls reasoning of it not having been fair to her. Rosemary of course, didn't know her moonsault had been thwarted by mistake, so all of this seemed like odd coddling to her which left her wondering if there was some form of ulterior motive.

“It's fine. We’re on the field of battle after all.” Rosemary stood up a bit more, affixing her hat to sit properly and straightening out her top  bit. She had an image to maintain, even if she was in pain she was almost driven to hide it, at least in front of Sakura. She wasn't sure if it was the way that the girl looked at her, or the fact of their differing themes made her really want to come across as serious as she possibly could, but the motivation was there.

She gave a small tip of her hat to Sakura, hand lingering with the cheerleader's before she slipped back a few paces. “Sure. Let's start over.” She cracked a small smirk. “I am Sky Captain Rosemary Maynard.” Rose gave a small wink at her corny humor, though it was clear she knew this wasn't what Sakura meant by starting over, she was just having a spot of fun. No more than a second had passed before she slipped back into her fighting stance. Bobbing on her feet, arms slightly raised.

Sakura smiled widely as Rosemary thanked her, giving the hand she had held to pull her up a shake in good faith.

"Of course!" She exclaimed. "You've been nothing but nice to me! Why wouldn't I be nice to you?" Why indeed? Even inside a match there should be some sense of sportsmanship right? Well... not really... Even if there were two people quite friendly with one another, they seemed to throw all decency out of the ring whenever they were in battle. It was just how this sport seemed to work. Play by the rules and win... Those were the only tenants to professional wrestling and now Sakura was breaking both with a smile on her face! For now at least. Her constant apologizing brought assurances from the captain, reminding her that they were indeed on a battle-field. Well... that was a rather macabre way to put it, wasn't it?

"...Sorry..." She said again...

Rosemary agreed to starting over and by that... she meant right at the beginning! The Japanese cheerleader let out a hearty laugh as her opponent reintroduced herself, bringing a wide, happy smile to her face!

"Hiya Cap! I'm 'Lucky' Sakura Yayuki! It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance!" As for the kiss... she'd save that one for the end. No need to embarrass the poor woman! She wanted her to be as happy and comfortable fighting her as... well... fighting a punching bag, she supposed!

"Here I come Ms. pretty-lady-i've-never-introduced-myself-to-before!" And like that, she charged right at Rose, intending to take her down with a quick and sudden spear to the chest!
