Yajiri Kasamatsu vs Yayuuki "Lucky" Sakura

Yajiri’s recent return to Friction hadn’t gone exactly how she’d imagined it in her head. That’s not to say she had set her expectations particularly high. She was a realistic-minded young woman and had been a rookie in all metrics when she first entered this company, and had then taken a couple years off from wrestling to focus on college before finally jumping back into the ring. Yajiri wasn’t naive enough to think that she could just waltz back in and blaze right through the rankings after that. When informing management she’d been asked about her goals, and had given what she thought was a safe answer: “For now I just want to have some singles matches that test and push me.” Evidently, they interpreted that differently than Yajiri did…

Her first match back had indeed been a singles match...with hentai allowed, against a beautiful dominatrix! Yajiri had never competed in a hentai match, and was essentially thrown into one the moment she walked back in the door! And now that that was behind her she was finally set for a true, standard singles match…. AGAINST THE HENTAI CHAMPION!!!! The woman who had dethroned Natasha Loclear, someone even she knew about and held in high regard, to win that title!

“What are these people thinking?!” she asked herself while nervously pacing backstage just moments before her match was set to begin. It seemed management had decided the best way to “test and push” Yajiri was to set her up against hentai wrestlers, knowing full well of her inexperience in that style. Her mind replayed everything from her match against Mistress Paige, sending a chill down her spine. What if this woman was like that too?

But before she could come up with an answer to that question, her music began to play over the speakers. Cursing under her breath, Yajiri took a deep breath, swallowed a nervous lump in her throat, then marched through the curtain. She tried to ignore the crowd, staring straight ahead to the ring and striding to it as quick as she could without going into a jog. Yajiri rolled under the bottom rope and went right into her corner, where she paced again while staring down at the entranceway, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Hentai Champion...

Oh, It's been a little bit-and-a-half since Lucky had gotten a match outside of her typical hentai duties! As champion, she was always looking for people that could challenge her in bed, constantly thinking up newer, weirder matches to keep the people entertained and other such things! She hardly EVER had time now to go the the gym and work out, let ALONE set up actual fighting matches! This week, it was different though... Through various negotiations and conversations with her manager and AFW officials, Sakura found herself with a little bit of "time off"... which she promptly used to obtain a match! Lucky had been feeling somewhat... out of it, tired... She needed something that could get her blood pumping!

...and this Friction match would be it!

Sakura would step out into the light from backstage, the biggest, happiest smile upon her face as she raised her hands up to the sky... bringing them down in a cute-little sideways piece sign near either side of her face in a pose for the crowd! Her peppy, electronic theme echoed throughout the stadium... before it was nearly completely muted by the CHEERING of the crowd, Sakura almost flinching at their collective sounds of approval! It was almost like she'd been gone FOREVER by the sounds of these people, the cheerleader blushing softly... humbled by them all!

"Wowie... I need to get in more matches..." Lucky whispered to herself with a subtle little snicker before making her way down the ramp towards the ring! Her opponent was already inside, watching her just as intently... and BOY was she cute! Yajiri was her name right? Lucky saw her name on all the Promo-material and stuff for this fight! With a great, atheletic form and an outfit that didn't show too much or too little, the only thing that was slightly off-putting was the serious... resting-face she seemed to sport! It was like she was going into the military or something at first-glance or something! It was weird...

WELL! Lucky was sure she was a nice girl! No Bowser, that was for sure!

Slipping into the ring, Sakura would walk RIGHT up to her opponent and, with a big, sunny smile, would open her arms wide and PULL her into a hug! She would wrap up the blue-clad fighter in a big, snuggly cuddle without a single word, holding her for just a moment before stepping back, her grin emitting joy like the sun emitted light!

"Hiya!" She greeted enthusiastically, stepping back and, this time, offering her hand to her to shake! "I'm Yayuuki Sakura, but everyone calls me Lucky! Nice to meetcha!

The whole dynamic in the arena seemed to change in a heartbeat. The crowd had been politely receptive of Yajiri during her entrance, though it was nothing particularly spectacular. The same could absolutely NOT be said when her opponent stepped out onto the stage. The sudden burst of noise from the spectators was so thunderously loud that it drowned out the music playing over the speakers, Yajiri even had to hold her hands over her ears for a second or two!

When the noise level became bearable again, she focused on Sakura while she made her way down to the ring. Yajiri typically didn’t watch the hentai matches, but there was a certain image in her mind when it came to that division. Dominatrixes, leather, lingerie, things like that. Sure, this woman had a cheerleader outfit on, but it wasn’t at all what Yajiri expected to see when she found out she’d be wrestling the Hentai Champion tonight. Maybe she shouldn’t have been so quick to stereotype that division in her head based on initial perception (...and maybe a personal experience or two). Regardless, the Champion was cute. Really cute. But she needed to stay focused. There was no telling what to expect from an opponent like this.

She’d just finished that thought when, as if on cue, Sakura started walking right toward her! Immediately Yajiri tensed, wondering what the other girl planned on doing. But the last thing she would have expected was to suddenly be pulled into a hug! Yajiri blinked in surprise, not at all sure what to think about this. When Lucky pulled away and introduced herself, a second or two passed with Yajiri just looking at her, totally perplexed, before she finally snapped out of it and remembered her manners.

“I’m...Yajiri. Nice to meet you too…” she said, somewhat anxiously reaching her hand out to shake Lucky’s. She was still tense, wound tighter than a rubber band. But she didn’t get the feeling this woman would do anything nefarious while they shook hands. If that were true, then what that said about Lucky as a wrestler in general would be quite a relief to Yajiri. She wouldn’t assume anything yet, but she was cautiously optimistic for now...

Sakura stared at Yariji and she just stared back after their hug, Lucky's smile flickering only slightly as she awaited a response... ANY KIND OF RESPONSE the look of shock and confusion on the other girl's face was almost funny... and also kinda scary! Did... Did she break her or something? What was going on? Oh... She didn't SCARE her or anything, right....? Sakura was starting to internally panic, afraid she had done something she didn't meant to do... Only for Yariji to come back to herself and take the cheerleader's hand! Instantly, Sakura's sunshine returned in force, her grin spreading wide as her opponent introduced herself!

"Nice to meetcha, Yariji! I betcha we'll have a good match today, huh?" Lucky giggled softly, her emerald eyes as warm and as trusting as if they had been best friends forever! WELL! She was glad everything was okay! For a second... it almost looked like she had spooked the poor girl! She still looked like she was INCREDIBLY cautious, though... and she couldn't really blame her either! There were a lot of heels in AFW, people who would sooner punch you in the face than say "hi!" Well... Sakura would just have to make it her duty to earn her trust, then, hmmm? It was ALWAYS good to make more friends!

"I'll letcha in on a secret... I hope you win..." Lucky giggled, leaning in just a bit so that nobody else, crowd or ref could hear! "I'm not gonna make it easy on ya or anything... But I have faith in you..." With a cute little wink, Sakura would step back, breaking their handshake, the cheerleader swinging her arms cheerfully at her sides! Her smile never faded, her light never dimmed, the cheerleader lightly bouncing on the balls of her feet as she stared intently at her opponent for the evening!

"Lets give them a good show, Yariji!" Lucky declared enthusiastically, dropping down into her wrestling stance! "Show me what you can do!"

Yajiri had had some baffling experiences here, but this one just might’ve taken the cake. Her mind was completely blown by how much Lucky defied her expectations. Had she ever met anyone as nice as this, in or out of Friction? She’d certainly never wrestled an opponent who was cheering for her. It made her blush a bit, and she wasn’t quite sure why.

“Thanks, I uh… G-good luck to you too,” Yajiri bashfully managed to reply...before realizing Lucky hadn’t actually said “good luck.” Now she was painfully aware that “good luck to you too” might not have made the most sense as a response, and she prayed it hadn’t come across as awkward as it now seemed in her head.

Trying to refocus her mind on the task at hand, Yajiri backed back into her corner and stretched out a bit more, until the bell at last rang to kick off the match! Hands up and knees slightly bent, she stepped out of the corner and began to circle her foe, trying to carefully watch her movements. Then after a few moments, Yajiri surged forward and lashed out with her arms, seeking to lock up with Lucky so she could try to drive her back toward the ropes. Nothing complicated to start off with, but how this went might give her an idea of how strong the Hentai Champion was.

Lucky giggled lightly at Yariji's humble, practically speechless reaction, the cheerleader simply nodding her head and going along with it! It wasn't very uncommon, Yariji's confusion. After all, pretty much everyone had to be SUPER SERIOUS ALL THE TIME... or thought they had to be, anyway. Perhaps she was expecting someone a lot more rough and cold...? Well that was just too bad! Sakura had nothing but sunshine and happiness to offer... alongside an imminent butt-kicking! She couldn't very well hold a belt if she couldn't defend herself!

Sakura's arms would intertwine with Yariji's as the two women locked up, the younger brunette making a point of showing off her strength in an effort to RUN the champion against the ropes! Lucky would push back, gritting her teeth as she leaned into her opponent, her boots grinding against the floor as her forehead pressed to her rival's matching her strength almost exactly as the two struggled for control! She was amazed, actually, how this new girl could keep up with her in this attribute, especially with her rather thin, unassuming form! Maybe there were other secrets this girl was hiding besides her deceptive strength. Perhaps she should find out!

Her struggle-ridden frown turning over into an almost telegraphing smile, Sakura would suddenly lean back, pulling Yariji over her with her own momentum, the cheerleader falling on her back as she threw her legs up, planting her feet on her rival's chest as she THREW her over her in a Monkey-Flip technique, Yariji being tossed HARD on her back if she were unable to combat the flip! Should Lucky's counter go as she had planned, Sakura would HOP back up to her feet quickly, whirling around and making a quick dash at her opponent before jumping up and attempting a double-leg drop across her chest and stomach!

Even though the size difference between the two wasn’t tremendous, the only thing keeping Yajiri from being driven back herself was simple technique. She’d made sure to get just a bit lower than Lucky in the clench, and kept a solid, balanced stance with her legs to stabilize her position. It wasn’t enough to gain an advantage, but it did keep her from losing ground.

A stalemate, it seemed. Yajiri made a mental note of her observations here and filed them away in the back of her mind to help guide her decisions as the match progressed. But now she had to figure out what to do from here. There appeared to be little else to gain from this struggle, so, time to transition. But to what? A few thoughts came to mind, but the Hentai Champ was much quicker on the draw.

A sudden smile told her something was coming, but she had no clue what it was until it was too late. Suddenly Yajiri was rolling forward, a pair of feet planted into her, and then she was flying through the air before crashing down hard on the mat! “Ugh!!” she grunted out on impact. The brunette arched her back, grimacing while a hand reached toward her aching spine. But then suddenly Lucky came back into view, looming briefly in the air above Yajiri before her legs hammered down right onto Yajiri’s torso! Another heavy grunt was forced out of her by the impact, and she immediately rolled to her side while her arms rested protectively over her midsection.

Lucky's monkey-flip went off without a hitch, flipping Yariji over her deftly and painfully tossing her to the floor behind with all the grace one might expect from the creature of the technique's name! What was even better, the flip had disoriented her opponent enough that she was able to follow up with a quick double-leg-drop, an attack that didn't leave Sakura's bum unscathed, mind-you, but it did SO much worse for her brunette opponent! That chest and stomach would taste true punishment as they were lashed across with Lucky's toned, tough legs! As quick as she was tenacious, Sakura would quickly pull back, hopping up to her feet again as if she were a wack-a-mole! Yariji would withdraw quickly, rolling away and clutching at her body where Sakura had struck her! Not one to give her opponent much room to breath, the cheerleader would bound quickly after her! Should Yariji still struggle to rise to her feet or even defend herself, the cheerleader would be quick and mercilous upon her next attack! As much as she liked Yariji, as much as she did anyone, she wouldn't make this fight easy on her in the least! This girl would have to know the ins and outs of AFW if she was gonna make a life working here! Maybe they would go get something to eat afterwords or maybe go see a movie or something to relax...

...But in this ring? You had to fight to win!

Lucky would bring a leg around and throw a sharp KICK right into the brunette's back, striking at her unprotected spine! She would then quickly attempt to follow up her attack by slipping up close to the woman, her chest pressing into her back as she would snake her arms around her head, making an effort to get her in a sleeper-hold! So early in the fight, Sakura didn't think she'd, like, be able to choke Yariji out... but she might be able to get her breathless, surprised, out of it even, make the rest of the fight that much simpler and easy! Lucky meant what she said when she was rooting for her to win...

...But it'd be disrespectful to make it easy on her! No self-respecting athlete wanted that kind of treatment, right???

Yajiri of course wasn’t about to pretend to enjoy being tossed around or blasted with a leg drop. That said, she also couldn’t fault Lucky for keeping the pressure up on her. The Champ had outright told her this was how it would be, and it was one of the few small aspects of all of this that had gone just as Yajiri had expected. Well, naturally she had hoped to be in a better position than this at...had it even been a full minute into the match yet? Hard to tell. In any case, she had figured Lucky wouldn’t go easy on her. And even though it wasn’t going particularly well for the rookie at the moment, she did genuinely appreciate it.

She had just pushed herself back into a sitting position when she felt a sudden explosion of pain in her back, courtesy of a stiff kick from the Hentai Champion! Yajiri immediately winced, tensed and yelled out in pain. Effectively stunned by the kick for a moment, it left her wide open for Lucky to move in and lock her up in the sleeper. For a brief second or two she blushed at the feeling of her foe’s breasts against her back. But very quickly the constricting vice of the sleeper hold brought her mind back to reality.

Gritting her teeth, her hands came up to the arm coiled around her neck and pulled on it. Yajiri highly doubted she’d be able to pry it off completely. But every breath she could sneak because of the effort would be important. And if she could loosen Lucky’s grip just enough, she’d attempt to slip her head out while twisting her foe’s arm. If it worked, she’d be freed and have the champ in a side wrist lock. If it didn’t...it would probably be a good time to consider finding her way over to the ropes somehow.

Sakura's stranglehold around Yariji's neck would be far to strong to be pulled away completely, especially from the position her opponent was in while attempting to do so! Maybe in her early days in the AFW, Yariji would have been capable! She was certainly around equal when it came to Lucky's raw physical might now. Had they fought in the past, she might've been able to overpower Lucky outright... But Sakura had been training with lots of people... people who's names were known across AFW as fighters worthy of belts! Natasha Loclear was a worthy master indeed, teaching the cheerleader much about technique, how to fight and what made a strong warrior. Haruka, her girlfriend, was the strongest person she KNEW when it came to raw strength! Lucky had never known another girl capable of tossing her around as much as she was! This would force Lucky to get stronger... tougher... someone capable of pushing back! Yariji was strong in her own right, someone that should never be taken lightly by anyone...

...But she wouldn't be outmuscling this plucky champion!

That being said, it wasn't easy keeping Yariji contained, her grip bit into Lucky's forearm with a painful sharpness, her nails digging in like teeth as they searched for a solid grip! Lucky grunted softly as her opponent tugged and jerked, her chin pressing into the cheerleader's muscle in an effort to tuck it between and pull her head out! Sakura's brow beaded with sweat as she only tightened her grip around the girl's neck, barely able to keep her under control! However, even as she struggled... Lucky smiled... This was going to be a fun match, in her estimation! Even if her opponent managed to turn the tide on her!

Speaking of which....

Yariji, realizing that her bid for escape would be fruitless, would attempt to claw towards the ropes! Sensing an opportunity, the cheerleader would... leap OFF of her rival, giving her the air she so desperately needed! Not a second later, Sakura would leap up over Yariji attempting to land butt-first on the center of her spine, flattening the other girl against the floor of the ring! If she managed to do so, Sakura would reach around her opponent's face, hands under her chin... and PULL BACK in a brutal Boston crab!
