Sky Captain Rosemary Maynard vs Yayuuki "Lucky" Sakura

Sakura’s sweet laugh managed to drag a smile out of her, even as she tried to keep her stoic act going. It was hard to really get fired up to wrestle the cheerleader. She was too bright, too cute. Every time she thought about hitting her with a move she hesitated. It almost felt like her moral compass had tied an arm behind her back just because she was facing who she assumed was a bright eyed rookie… but she was a dangerous one. Those submission holds hadn't been weak or sloppy at all. She had to keep reminding herself to stay on her toes.

“Lady Luck.” She gave a small bow, simple this time, lacking the flourish the the match start. No need to make the crowd wait on them all night. She had been weary of Sakura drawing in closer be it to kiss her or grab her. She wasn't keen on having either thing happen again at the moment. Thankfully the girl kept her distance as they gave shortened introductions.

The warning Sakura gave before pouncing was perhaps not the best tactical decision, but Rosemary wasn't about to complain. As the cheerleader charged her, the Sky Captain took a few quick steps back, buying her time to avoid the initial push from her opponent. She met her then, after the bulk of the power of the tackle had been met with no impact, catching the girl in a lock up, trying to steady Sakura upright for what was to come.

Rosemary threw an arm up and around, trying to hook it behind Sakura's head to pull the girl down into what seemed at first like a headlock. The Sky Captain hopped up then threw her weight back, trying to take Sakura down to the mat with a hard and fast snap ddt to plant the girl’s head on the canvas. "Take this!"

Sakura's charge was met with a head-on lock from the captain, stopping her dead before she could get close enough to even attempt her spear! Rose's arms shot out, catching her shoulder and arm, pulling her into a typical lock-up and tanking her momentum like the baddass she was, forcing the cheerleader to engage her in another lockup!

"RRRGH!" She growled softly, more cute than actually intimidating as she attempted to push and shove the opposing woman back against the ropes or something! Rosemary didn't fight her the same way she did before, having practically swung Lucky left and right until she could no longer keep up! No, this Captain was more stoic, stead-fast and far less feral... Almost as if she was planning something... If she was, Lucky certainly didn't know about it! She simply struggled against her captain, attempting to overtake her and gain the advantage legitimately this time!

Her honesty would cost her dearly, however as Rose siply wrapped an arm around her neck shot back, PLANTING Lucky hard into the canvas head first!

"AKK!" She gasped as her skull shot down against her neck, dulling her thinking and... well... EVERYTHING as she flipped over on her back! "Uuuuuh..." That DDT was so effective, it practically shot a good chunk of life out of the cheer-leader, leaving her sprawled out and helpless. Her arms and legs were spread wide, leaving her belly and buxom chest exposed for anything Rosemary might have in mind. Lucky was blinking rapidly, trying to bring some SENSE back into her mind before something REALLY BAD happened...

Rosemary was up, then back down bringing Sakura to the canvas in a beautiful DDT. She had incredible body control, transferring movement tinto force before drilling her opponent hard. As her adversary lay dazed on the mat, the Sky Captain tucked her legs before shooting them back out to perform a seamless kip up back to her feet. She seemed unhindered by delivering or recovering from the move, already running opposite where Sakura lay on the ground.

She circled as she neared the ropes, leaping up to catch a good on the middle than hopping to the top rope in a impressive display. She held her arms out to either side as she managed to maintain her speed tightrope walking along the cable until she reached the turnbuckle. Positioning herself high above the ring, she looked down to her helpless foe. Reaching up she tipped the brim of her hat in a polite show of respect before springing in place.

Rosemary hopped a few times, rising a little higher with each before she leap free from the ring post, soaring through the sky with her arms outstretched. Mid way through her flight, she tucked her head down, flipping herself to come down hard on her back across Sakura’s body with a swanton bomb.

If Rosemary managed to land the move, she would promptly lay her back across Sakura's and hook one of her legs, going to a Pinfall while she panted to catch her breath. It took a lot to do what she had just done.

Lucky lay on her back, her chest rising and falling heavily as she attempted to clear her head of the fog within! Rosemary's expertly preformed DDT left Sakura feeling as if her entire upper-body had been replaced with a block of concrete, making it exceedingly difficult to move, let alone get out of the way! It really was too bad that she couldn't see the magnificent acts of dexterity and control Rose was putting on for the crowd from where she was laying. If she could, the Japanese girl would've been so transfixed by the grace of her captain's movements, chances are she wouldn't have gotten out of the way anyway!

Rose can CRASHING onto Sakura's stomach and chest back first, squeezing the air out of her lungs like air out of a balloon!

"HHHUH!" She wheezed loudly, Jerking underneath her her opponent before falling still, her eyes clenched shut in pain! Rose hooked her leg up, ready to end this fight right as it had begun... AGAIN!

With a soft grunt, Sakura kicked her way out of the Pin, rolling over on her side towards Rosemary in the process! She groaned softly, reaching out to grab the girl's shoulder to help her to her feet, her other hand softly massaging her stomach just below her breasts, gasping for all the air she could!

"*HUFF! HUFF!" NNnhh.... Good... one..." She acknowledged with a pained, but genuine grin. Even like this, she still found time to be friendly.

Rosemary came crashing down on top of Sakura, rolling across her body to sit at her side with a heavy huff. It perhaps wasn't the best choice of moves given her back had still ached from the earlier submissions but she had no doubt that she did far more damage to her adversary than herself. She leaned back, settling in up against Sakura, hooking her legs tightly. Her foe seemed a bit limp as she asserted herself, holding her down. This very well may have been it.

She mouthed the words with each count of the pinfall, holding her breath to await the third. She was slightly startled when Sakura managed to kick out, sitting up off the girl as she started to rise. She was promptly sat back down as Sakura, perhaps unintentionally used her weight to keep Rose sitting, used as a means for the other girl to get up.

Rose blinked in minor confusion, glancing back at Sakura as the girl struggled to her feet. “My thanks.” Reaching up she grasped for the cheerleader’s wrist and forearm, starting to rise as well with her opponent, she attempted to wrench at her arm, twisting the limb in the wrong direction to take control of Sakura’s movements, trying to guide the girl away to arm’s length.

"Try to keep up!" Rosemary would try to bring Sakura along with her, jogging at first then running towards the turnbuckle. Rather than throwing Sakura into the corner, The Sky Captain would run up the turnbuckles while holding the girl’s wrist. She would leap off the ropes, twirling to bring her leg around in a wide arching kick to try and catch Sakura on the side of the head and her collar, letting go of her arm on impact to let the girl fall again if she made contact.

Sakura struggled up to her feet... only for Rosemary to grab at her arm and wrench it back! The poor cheerleader let out a yelp in pain, jumping at the action... But she wouldn't let the captain take her to where she wanted her to go! She was hurting to be certain and her lungs were barely starting to recover from being squashed flat, but little did the captain know that she had put herself in a very unfortunate position! Slowly, Lucky's smile turned edged as she dug in her legs and JERKED back with everything she had in her legs and arms, intent on pulling Rose back to her like the snap-back of a bungee cord!

"Don't underestimate me!" She warned, bringing her boot up... not to strike at the girl, but to nestle right under her chin and against her neck, balancing on one leg! Once that position was confirmed, Sakura would drop back, her boot DRIVING UP into her opponent's chin as her back hit the floor, all that energy traveling up through her limb and into the air-captain's jaw in an inverted-stomp facebreaker! No doubt such a powerful (if situational) move would knock all dat edge RIGHT off Rose's face, either stunning the living day-lights out of her or sending her crashing back to the mat with all that force delivered into her head all at once!

Granted... Tugging on a wound-up arm such as hers wasn't the smartest idea... her limb would be left sore, aching... but it would be worth it... If she could get this move off!

Rise turned away as she charged towards the turnbuckles, not getting more than a few steps before she met a sudden strong resistance. She pulled Sakura’s arm tightly, almost being yanked off her own feet as the woman brought them to a screeching stop. Left off balance, when her opponent gave her a strong pull, she spun back around, stumbling towards the cheerleader.

She flinched as the woman's boot came up, expected to take a kick to the face. She blinked, slightly confused at first when the sole of the girls boot was pushed right up under her chin. Something however seemed to click as Rosemary tried to pull herself away. “No… nonono!”

She was dragged forward into Sakura’s outstretched leg. As her opponent hit the mat, her head bounced back off the girls boot hard, sending her upright again as if she was standing. She took a wobbling step back, swaying before she colaspee to the side. Her body hit the mat hard, lacking her usual grace when landing from a fall. Her body rolled over onto her back, arms and legs spread wide as she lay on the canvas, laid out. Her chest rising and falling with each heavy pant, though her eyes looked rather vacant.

Sakura's attack worked like a charm! She was actually worried there for a second... Her reverse-face-breaker was a move that was so high-risk-high reward, it was a wonder why anyone used it in the first place but it worked! Rose's head SNAPPED back as a boot drove into her chin, all that energy rocking her skull so hard she fell back spread-eagled, hardly any life left in those eyes! She'd be a liar if she didn't admit that felt... good, executing a dangerous move like that! Despite the fact she could barely roll over on her stomach and get to her hands and knees, she felt all strong and stuff! Laying out a woman as impressive as Rosemary with just one move was something to be proud of! And Proud she was!

Breathing heavily, Sakura crawled on over to to her fallen, stunned opponent, flopping her body over hers so that their breasts pressed neatly against one another, the cheerleader's body blanketing the aerial captain's in a pin. Her face was only a few inches from her opponents, their lips so close, she could feel her own tingle... but she resisted the temptation to exploit that position... It wouldn't be right, would it...? To kiss a wounded woman while she was down? Especially now since she was in no position to do anything about it.

The Ref slid on over, checking to see if Sakura's pin was solid before bringing her hand down to the mat and began to count!

"1!"

“Auh..aah… ugh…” Rosemary stared up at nothing, eyes half lidded, lips slightly parted as she panted softly. The blow had rattled her hard leaving her on the floor in an obvious daze. She groaned softly as Sakura climbed herself on top of her, her for arms lifting slightly, fingers reaching for something out of reflex before they fell back down to the canvas softly. Her body shifted slightly under her opponent, but showed no real sign of resistance.

She could feel the woman draped on top of her, weighing her down. She was so close she could feel the head in Sakura’s breath as the first count slapped the mat. It was as if she was just waking up, groggy and confused. It seemed so easy to just stay down for just a bit, to rest for just a minute more.

“Two!”

Her eyelids fluttered as life seemed to trickle back into her. Dimly aware of what was happening. This was a feeling she was familiar with… she had been knocked down far more times that she cared to remember. But she had to. Those times made her better, stronger, they gave her the ability to fight on when everything seemed lost.

“Thr-”

Just before the referee slapped the mat the final time, her arm shot upward, remaining raised high, shoulder lifted just off the canvas. The crowd erupted at the incredibly close near fall, many of the people in the audience getting to their feet to applauded or shout. Rosemary reached out to place her hands on Sakura’s shoulders, trying to weakly shove the girl off.

Lucky nodded her head with each count, a smile creeping wider across her face. Even as the counter reached "two" it didn't seem like Rose had any energy left to pull herself out of this pin! Sakura lay atop her comfortably as the hand came down a third time to declare her the winner of the match... But just before it touched the mat, the captain's arm shot up into the sky, breaking the pin and denying Lucky her win! The Cheerleader's eyes widened in shock, glancing down at her opponent to see there were still some life in her face... Focus had returned to her gaze as her other hand attempted to shove Lucky off of her, her attempt not having very much strength behind it... but enough.

Lucky rolled off the airship-captain, letting out a soft groan as she pulled herself up into a sitting position. SO CLOSE! It was SO CLOSE! Still, the fact that Rose could take such a hit only made Lucky admire her more! Were the rolls reversed, the cheerleader could say with absolute certainty that she wasn't going to be getting up in 3 seconds! Slowly standing, Sakura would grab the sides of her captain's arms, aiming to pull her up into a standing position herself before throwing a hard forearm right into her cheek!

Lucky was breathing hard, her body heating up from the effort of this match... Her breathing had recovered somewhat, but was FAR from returning to normal... She was in somewhat of a bad way after taking all these hits but she had to keep going! She wasn't going down without a fight and she suspected Rosemary was the same way!
