After exchanging information with her, the Rodriguez cousins waved her off, letting her leave to do whatever things a woman like her did in their spare time. Felina was generally curious to figure out what those specific things might’ve been - she’d been looking for someone to hang out with every since Amy left for the States. Carmen was fun, but she was older and not around all that much, and Army was...Army.

”Hey,” He finally spoke up after a few moments of appropriately awkward silence. ”Are you going to be okay?”

That was a good question, and one that Felina wasn’t sure she had a good answer to. Edgar had been an experience, something she hadn't been through in her entire career. She’d lost before, sure, but that was beyond just a regular match. That was crushing. That was humiliation. That was…

”I’m okay.” She cut him off before he could ask again and make this moment even more awkward. She stood up and turned to face him, walking away as she spoke. ”I appreciate the care, I really do, but I just need to sort through some things. Give me a little time. Okay?”

Army parsed his lips, looking her up and down, noting how ragged and weary she looked. It wasn’t just the bruises, either, though more than a few of those were already forming. Felina was always brimming with life and energy, no matter what, but right now she looked like she’d added on ten years to her life out of nowhere. Just tired. Beat down. Done. ”Yeah,” He sighed and sat back. ”Take as much time as you need. See you back at the apartment.”

Felina gave him a quick nod, and started to make her way off, keeping her head as high as she could stomach to. In the back of her mind, she hoped Army wouldn’t be waiting up for her, knowing she had many, many thing she wanted to think about before she came in for the night…
