Re: The Fated Date
Sayumi gave Cicilia such a look as the girl had a laugh at her expense. Narrowed eyes and puffed up cheeks as she huffed softly. It was pretty clear she wasn't actually mad, she got like this every so often. It came across far more adorable than intended, not even remotely threatening. "Criminal scum." She murmured softly under her breath, subtly trying to secure the towel again.
Her expression broke at the two small kisses, her attempt (and failure) at being intense with her reaction being met with sweetness made her blush. Let by she started to scurry off to their room... Only to come back to quickly and suddenly steal a quick kiss from Cicilia before she hurried back to the bedroom closing the door behind her.
Sayumi had quite a few dresses. She almost always had on one of those, or at the very least a skirt. Safe for workouts, it was a rare occasion when she had on something that lacked a something that she could have fun twirling in. Her selection of things that were truly fancy however were lacking. She wasn't a terribly formal person after all, nor had she ever really needed to dress up for a big event. She hadn't even attended a wedding in her life.
Since the place in question was on the beach and today was suppose to be relatively warm, she opted for once of her prettier sundresses. The look of it wasn't a surprise, only because she monopolized the closet space with all of her dresses. Cicilia didn't need to have that many hoodies hanging up anyhow. The dress was a pastel red with some deep red flower print, thin vines and stems were done in gold rather than a natural green. This one had a more modest cut on the top, choose specificly to obscure her bra straps because... Fancy restaurant and all. It sported puffy sleeves which barely came down off her shoulders. It had a white lace trim that hugged the upper part of her bicep.
She dug around in her jewelery box on the dresser for some fitting additions. A pair of rose bud earrings and a cute leather choker with a red heart shaped clasp on the front. She finished it all off with a cute pair of heeled booties to tie it all together. Eyeing herself in the mirror, she pursed her lips striking a few various poses ranging form cutesy to sexy to give the look a good judging. Everything seemed in place, well, all but one thing. She went to the door, cracking it slightly.
"Close your eyes... No peeking." She would wait for confirmation from Cicilia before making her trip back to the bathroom to shut herself in. She had a bit of makeup to apply. A tastefully dark shade of red lipstick to match her dress, some crisp black eyeliner to make her eyes stand out more, and a few small spritzes of perfume... And that was about it. She didn't do makeup much, her natural beauty normally carried the dah. Once she had finished, she popped open the door and presented herself fully. "Is this okay?"

Re: The Fated Date
Cicilia sat around on the couch twiddling her thumbs quite literally, as Sayumi went about choosing her outfit. She couldn't help but think that she needed her own little space for all the hoodies she had hanging up in her closet. It made her half of the the space seem so... street-thuggish... Sure, she didn't wear the baggy pants (because they tripped her up too many times for her liking) nor did she have the bling (because it was too expensive) but seeing all the heavy, covering monotone jackets next to the bright, and emotive outfits her girlfriend had... It seemed to different for her tastes... Maybe she'd sell some of her hoodies in a garage sale or put them in storage somewhere... Either way, it was getting too warm for them anyway... She was thinking maybe get her little geek-shirts out with such fashionable fronts as "Sarcasm" or her Tri-force shirt...
As she mused on, she heard the sound of the bedroom door crack open and her gaze immediately shot that way, only to see a single aqua eye peering out from inside, telling her to close her eyes and not to peek. Cicilia raised an eyebrow at the tone she took, so serious and ominous... if she didn't know her partner better, she would've suspected an "or else" hiding somewhere in there... Still, who was she to turn down the love of her life? Her eyes clenched shut and the German showed the "OK" sign with her hand somewhere in her general direction, letting her know that she was free to do... whatever she planned to while Cicilia was blind.
A moment passed... then two... three.... Sayumi asked if "this was okay", a sign, she took it, that it was time to look. Cicilia opened her eyes... then blinked, making sure it wasn't some kind of vision.... Her jaw dropped as she stared at the beauty that was her girlfriend, adorned in a gorgeous red flow dress, so much more fanciful and beautiful than anything Cicilia had EVER considered! She wore a choker with red lipstick and black eyeliner, small booties and a delicious flavor of perfume! If she was of a vain sort, the german would've been severely depressed over how MUCH Sayumi put her at a disadvantage! She was a true vision... Was this okay...? WAS THIS OKAY!? What kind of question was that!? Just gazing upon her made her cheeks flash a DEEP red, nearly as red as her partner's lips... So much red... so much for her to look at... They contrasted so MUCH all the time, even now! Cicilia looked like she was going on something casual and friendly and Sayumi looked like she was going on a rich Ball! ...And she loved it!
"Sayumi..." She muttered, getting up from her see and hastily making her way to her... "I... I can't even BEGIN to tell you how I feel about you right now..." Cicilia took her hands in hers, bringing them up to her lips for a kiss... Who was who's lady now?
"My lady..." She murmured, stealing the position of intensity. She had abandoned it outside the bathroom so it was free game to pick up. "Would you honor me with your company this afternoon....?"

Re: The Fated Date
Cicilia's reaction had been not only flattering but priceless. She considered for a moment telling the boxer she had made the dress herself out of a decorative window curtain and some softer stitched in fabric for the inside and sleeve lace, but thought that might shatter her existence. She couldn't deny she found the dress pretty. It had been the inspiration for the smaller red and gold curtains she had put up around the apartement when they moved in together.
She blinked as Cicilia moved up to her. It was still so strange seeing her in such a girlie dress, especially when her movements and mannerisms hadn't changed at all to suit the look. She looked like a fish out of water in that respect. When she was stationary, with only her appearance to form an opinion from it looked natural for the boxer. Had they just met, she could have easily have thought it was how the girl always dressed.
As Cicilia took her hand she was ready to get moving. She though the woman was going to just lead them out, but instead she planted a kiss on the back of her hand. Sayumi's face lit bright red at this. Unsurprisingly, she was a sucker for things like this, tapping into a very stereotypical want to be an actual princess that she never grew out of. Little Sayumi would always dress in big bright and fluffy dresses at home and play the part. Ruling over her loyal plushie subjects as their beloved princess. Her acting in the role had been so convincing as a diva it had put her down the early path to what would later become the obsessive march to make her an idol.
She hadn't answered the question. Caught up in the moment just staring at Cicilia in a soft haze of daydream. When she finally came to, she wasn't any less flustered. "Y-yes!" She nodded excitedly, taking a step closer to Cicilia. She was willing to anything at the moment, living out a fantasy she thought died with her youth. While she never expected her prince would be a princess back then, these days it didn't seem to matter to her.

Re: The Fated Date
Cicilia was so enamored with her partner right now...She was so gorgeous in her dress, her makeup... the way she held herself and now, when she kissed her hand, the blush added a bigger helping of cuteness to the mix! Oh.. She loved it... Her expression was the best thing, she had to say, how stunned she was... In fact, so stunned was she, it took a couple seconds for Sayumi to answer her... but answer her she did, stuttering out a word of approval. She smiled warmly, her cheeks just BURNING at the sight of someone so beautiful...
"Then our coach awaits us..." She murmured, keeping up the act. She released her partner's hand, instead offering her an arm, like how a prince might escort his princess... Sayumi was her princess, her cute, cuddly, perfect princess... And so, she would be treated as such! If she took her the arm she was offered, the acting-prince would smile at her partner, tightening her arm just a tad so that they would walk reeeeeeal closely together as they made their way outside...
*Skip ahead a little*
After a short ride by taxi (one of the more awkward rides she's ever been in), Cicilia and Sayumi arrived at what would be their dating location for the evening: A VERY fancy Italian place... She didn't even know Japan had places like this and wouldn't even have found it if she hadn't been browsing the internet for locations of it's very nature! She glanced over at her partner, wanting to catch her reaction... They say Italy was one of the big countries of love... T'was only appropriate to try it out on their first date, no...? The two of them would head inside, greeted by a rather.... "stuck-up" waiter in a tuxedo, looking the two of them over before offering them a table. The afternoon was still fresh and not many other couples had reserved tables this early. They practically had the place to themselves... And somehow that made it feel more... romantic...? The interior of the place itself was almost as fancy as the home she grew up in back in Germany, chandlers hanging from the ceiling, the lights within dimmed just a bit to set a certain tone, various paintings of fruit, wine and other such things hanging up on the walls...
God, she was such a sap when it came to Sayumi...
She didn't regret it at all...
Sitting them down at a table near the center of the restaurant, the Waiter stepped away for a bit, leaving the two women alone, Cicilia smiling proudly...
"So... What do you think...?" She asked.

Re: The Fated Date
Sayumi was more than happy to take Cicilia's offered arm, wrapping both of her around it to cling to it as if it were a life preserver. She nuzzled cutely up against the boxer's shoulder as she reeled in by the entire act, hook, line, and sinker. Princess Arai was a benevolent and diligent ruler... of something. Before they left however, she caught them at the door to go get a purse. If they were going someplace fancy, she wanted to bring her ID so they could drink, and needed to double check that Cicilia had her wallet. The boxer might not be use to the lack of pockets in her new wardrobe. If needed, she would store anything they needed in her tiny purse. With that slight hike overcome, she gladly resumed her walk with the boxer to their awaiting carriage.
She had taken the time in the taxi to snuggle up with Cicilia in the back seat. While the ride wasn't long, she snuck in as may kisses as she could, though the moment Cicilia would try to take any from her, she would feign ignorance and lean away, smirking innocently. Once they got close though, she opened up her purse to pull out a small disposable wetnap to clean the lipstick off of Cicilia's cheek and neck. Embarrassing her when it was just the two of them and a driver was one thing, she wasn't about to make people eye her questioningly in public.
Sayumi wasn't exactly the more worldly of people when it came to other cultures. She grew up with the native tastes and dishes of Japan and deviated very little past the peppering of western culture that inevitably invaded the country. Aside from pizza and spaghetti (which she had never had) Italian cuisine was a mystery to her so she was going to trust in Cicilia to steer her food choices for the evening. The odd looks they may have gotten for coming as a pair, and Sayumi possibly missing a smudge of lipstick on the boxer's collar, went unnoticed to her. The chandeliers alone had won over her approval nearly the instant they had entered the restaurant.
As they were ushered to their seats, her eyes wandered the decorum, visibly impressed by everything she saw. The waiter even held her seat for her when she went to sat! This place was the best. It was her turn to give Cicilia a look, nearly the same she had been given when she inquired about her dress for the evening. "It's Awesome!" She caught a glance from a passing bus boy as they finished cleaning off a nearby table. The sort of look given to her by the staffer that said she should keep it down. Far to enthused by everything, she just gave them a big wave and a smile as they passed by. She looked back to Cicilia, then the decorations on the table. She wanted to touch everything. Picking up the candle on the table to see if it was real, prodding the lonely flower in the thin glass vase, eyeing the weird bottle with the metal spout... They even made the cloth napkins stand up on their own!

Re: The Fated Date
Cicilia smiled widely as Sayumi voice her approval with great enthusiasm, her girlfriend playing with the various items on the table. She was a bit nervous when she picked up the active and burning candle, worried both she would burn herself and that she would drop it! Her partner had been known to moments of clumsiness... She didn't want this whole place to burn down after all! Once that hazard had passed, Cicilia couldn't help but be amazed by the napkins before them and how they were folded to stand up like that... She had never seen such a trick before and she had to know how to do it! It was like folding origami with something much heavier and looser than paper... something the german was already terrible at with the stuff it was intended for.
"I'm glad you like it... I've been saving up for this moment for a long while..." She didn't mean to brag, but she was quite proud of herself that she managed to make this dream happen... What started out as a musing just to get her and her partner somewhere outside together evolved into this elaborate plan to save money and take her to one of the most romantic places in japan! Several corners were cut on her end to make this happen today... It felt good to have her plans reach fruition without a hitch like this. "I have to say, you look even better in low light..." She flashed Sayumi a wide smile. "Absolutely stunning..."
It was at that moment the waiter returned with the menus, asking what they would all have to drink! He handed out a second one, this one containing the various wins they had of stock this afternoon, pointing out a couple that he would recommend himself! Cicilia hadn't the compulsion to drink, even after she reached the legal age here in japan about 2 years ago... But today was a special night... from a certain relationship handbook, the German had learned that this too was a key part of a romantic setting.... Good wine (red usually). She glanced up at her partner, asking a silent question if she wanted part in this... If so, she would smile widely, kinda excited to try out this privilege of hers for the first time.
"May I choose the wine for this evening...?" With her princess' blessing, she would place her order, trying so hard not to butcher the name of it "Mia Dolcea Moscato D'Asti." She would also ask for some water on the side for her self, leaving the waiter to take Sayumi's order.
Once all that had been settled one way or another the waiter would leave once again, leaving the two of them to alone. Conversation time! Perhaps the most complicated part of the date... As much fun as it was to say so, Cicilia had to move away from all the compliments of Sayumi's beauty... Would get REALLY predictable after while... she didn't want to bore her...
"When did you pick up tailoring...?" Cicilia asked, leaning on the table a little bit, her chin resting in her palms, cupping her cheeks. "You've got such a talent for it... You could probably open up your own business with how pretty they are!"

Re: The Fated Date
Sayumi had carefully begun to disassemble the napkin, reverse engineering how they folded them to make them stand like this. Her few few attempts didn't go so well, so she reached across the table to steal Cicilia's napkin to pull it apart again to take careful note of the folds. She got an off look from a passing waiter as she haphazardly was unfolding and refolding two napkins on her side of the table.
"It's really... What is the English word... Uh.. swanky? It is filled with much swank." She nodded firmly, almost sure that was the word she had been looking for. It was sometimes hard to remember English wasn't her first langauge with how fluent she was. " You don't have to do this you know..." She pushed her tone significantly. "I appreciate it, I really do, but I don't want you having to spend so much money on me." While that was true, she couldn't really hide her excitement over it all. She couldn't recall even being given the red carpet treatment like this.
She glanced away bashfully at the compliment, returning to folding up the napkins. "You normally think I look good in low light" Sayumi gave a small wicked smile down at her handiwork. It was true, she couldn't recall a single time in their bedroom Cicilia had come away with complaints. Under the table she extended her leg out, lightly rubbing the toe of her bootie up Cicilia's shin, playfully teasing the girl before retreating. She plucked the napkin up, plopping it back down in front of Cicilia, as good as it was before she unfolded it to begin with.
"Oh, sure." Sayumi blinked. She didn't know much about wine, or liquor in general. She tended to just get mixed drinks that sounded cute ot, if pictures were provided, looked pretty. "I mean... You may." She gave a small bow of her head, almost forgetting she was Princess Arai tonight.
"My mom taught me when I was pretty young. I use to runs round and explore a bunch. So my clothes were always getting messy or damaged. My mother taught me how to do my own laundry and sew so she didn't always have to do it. It was a responsibility thing. I hate to admit it, but it helped. I was much more careful about what I did after that, because I would have to pick up the pieces... " Sayumi smiled fondly, recalling a few such occasions in her head. Despite the Rocky times in her high school days that lead to her running away, her parents did love and support her a whole lot.
"I need to visit them sometime soon..." She said quietly, more so to herself than to Cicilia. If and when she did, bringing the boxer along with her wasn't even something she had been considering. She had no idea what her parents would say about her being in a relationship, let alone with a foreigner... And a woman. Some bridges were best not crossed until necessary.
Re: The Fated Date
Cicilia only smiled as her partner stated that she didn't have to put in all this money for them... This wasn't something she HAD to do! She could've just as easily handed Sayumi a coupon for the restaurant she was working at and told her to meet her there one day after her shift. She could've done that... but she chose to make this uber super special... Only the best for her princess... "Don't have to...? Sweetheart, I WANT to... I didn't do this because I felt obligated too... It's because I love you and I want to make this date something to remember."
The German couldn't help but let out a quick giggle as Sayumi's darker side escaped for just a moment, flashing her a devilish smile as she remarked how the Cicilia always thought of her in low-light... T'was true... Never once in their time together had she come out of their "low-light" with any issues... The two of them seemed to just understand one another's desires by heart... Sure, at some point, the juggernaut was going to try something new and maybe then they'd have some issues... but for now...? She was just reveling in it...
"Oh-ho-HO! I love it when you talk like that..." She purred, flashing a quick wink. Cicilia reached out and booped Sayumi's leg with her own shoe, potentially starting a booping-war under the table right up until the waiter arrived to take their order in wine. She smiled as Sayumi fell into the act of her being royalty this evening, the Boxer placing her order before the two of them were left alone again.
Cicilia nodded as her partner-in-red told her the the shell-nut story of how she came to possess such amazing tailoring qualities, smiling softly at the revelation that her skills came from a desire to NOT ruin her outfits rather than refine her talent... It sounded like she was something of a rebel back in the day, going out on her own and exploring everything...
Hot.
The tone shifted, however as Sayumi's voice lowered, remarking that she'd have to visit her family soon... Cicilia tilted her head, wondering why such a serious shift... What was she thinking...? Her family couldn't have been as bad as her own, could they...? No... Why would she visit them then...? Was it something else?
"I'd love to meet them!" She piped up, refusing to let this moment of quiet define their date. "Maybe I could come along when you do!"

Re: The Fated Date
It was great to be pampered a bit and treated to nice things. She wasn't someone who often found herself wanting, easily pleased by the simple things in life. While she had always wanted to go to fancy parties or big elegant balls, in fairy tales you didn't have to see prince charming bussing tables for tips to make it all happen. It added weight to this all, knowing how much Cicilia would have had to work between her two jobs to make it happen... At least judging from her initial contract. Life as a starter talent in AFW didn't pay well, save for the "special" matches.
She couldn't help but smile, it was cute that Cicilia thought going someplace fancy would make it more memorable. True, Sayumi likely wouldn't forget this place anytime soon, but something as humble as their beach meeting not far from here had been just as memorable and they hadn't even done much outside of wrestle and talk. "Well, I am spending it with you so..." She tapped her chin. "I guess that makes it already a success."
Sayumi made a face at Cicilia, leaning back in her chair to lightly nudge the girl again with her bootie waiter be damned. It was going to be a looooooong night at this rate. She smiled quietly up at their waiter until they were gone, turning back to Cicilia. "I only talk that way because I know you like it." She poked at her tongue at the boxer.
"Oh... Maybe. We'll just have to see how your work schedule is whenever that comes around." Oh boy was this something she didn't want to talk about. She wasn't going tell her girlfriend 'No' despite the fact this was very much a situation where she wouldn't let it come to pass. She loved her parents, and while Cicilia was her girlfriend, Sayumi wasn't ready for the powder keg that putting the two of them together would become. They were two parts of her life she would very much to keep separate.
"You haven't been her before have you?" Just like that, the topic was gone, swept under the rug. "I don't know what I would like." She was toying with her napkin again, experimenting with modifying the restaurant's folding technique. She had really been into origami when she was younger, so this sort of thing was right up her alley.

Re: The Fated Date
"I'm sure I could get some time off or something." Cicilia assured her with a confused smile. She had taken note of the sudden change in tone. What, did she think that she couldn't ask for a day or something? Did they live WAY out there in the country or something...? Her lack of enthusiasm concerned her... It was obvious that this was something Sayumi didn't want to talk about right now as she changed the topic to something COMPLETELY unrelated. For the sake of their night remaining as nice and bubbly as it was, Cicilia would let it go... She'd talk about it when she felt ready, she was confident.
"I...actually haven't been here either." Cicilia admitted with a sheepish giggle, rubbing the back of her head. "I... uh... guess this will be a learning experience for us both...?" Woooow okay. Way to not think of that until right now, CICILIA! Externally, the German was trying her best to keep up a happy, excited smile, glad to be trying out new things! On the inside... she was freaking out. What if Sayumi didn't like italian food? What if the food here was completely terrible and it ruined their date... What if...
AND THEN the waiter arrived, giving them both a familiar look before placing the wine Cicilia had ordered along with the glasses and menus on the table before them... THE MOMENT OF TRUTH! The waiter popped the top on the bottle for them with a nice little cork-screw, warning them to allow it to breath for a moment or two before leaving them to ponder their order....
OH BOY here we go.
Luckily, the words were in english along with what it actually WAS underneath each unintelligible name, giving the two girls and idea of what they'd actually be ordering. Well... at least she wouldn't have to go in blind.... right? Cicilia smiled with relief that there was actually pizza on the menu, something the German understood and could appreciate if all else failed... She had just gotten herself worked up over nothing... Everything was doing fine! She looked up at her partner after a bit of browsing, lifting the bottle and pouring herself a small glass...
"May I interest you in a spot of wine, my lady....?" Cicilia spoke with increased intensity, hoping to smother her nervousness with her tone. Should she accept, she would get up from her seat, stepping up beside her and, with as steady a hand as she could muster, filled her cup about half way... A lesson she'd picked up from her parents when they hosted parties.
"A toast..." She continued with a wide smile, sitting herself back down at her end and raising her glass about half-way across. "To the most beautiful maiden in the land... She who makes me smile like nothing else... and to whom my heart belongs." Perhaps the most poetry Cicilia will ever speak in her life ever... Well spent... Meanwhile, everyone else in the restaurant was looking their way... Cicilia couldn't see them though.... All she could see was her sweet Sayumi...
