Lost and Found

"Guhh!!" Rika gasped. When she leapt at Akashi both of the woman's knees drove painfully into her gut, driving just about all of the air out of her lungs. She rolled off of Akashi and onto her side, both arms clutching her stomach as she tried to recover quickly.

Akashi rolled with her, trying to press the advantage. If the girl wanted to go all out, Akashi wasn't going to hold back. When Akashi was on her knees, she pulled back her hand and sent an open handed slap to Rika's head, not because she thought a punch would be dirty, but because as a sumo, her open handed slaps were probably more poweful than her close fist punches.

Rika was just starting to get back to her knees when Akashi's pal slammed into the side of her head. She yelped and stumbled, falling back to the mat with a groan. Unfortunately for Rika even if she said she wanted to go all out, she wasn't sure her best ability was enough to beat Akashi. But she refused to quit, and told herself to get back up and go again.

Slowly, Rika would try to get back to her feet to face Akashi again.

Akashi stood up, panting as she eyed Rika. She crouched to the ground and put her knuckle against the floor. Her eyes looked determined. "I'm sorry." She said as her body stood still, sweat glistening off her frame. She looked Rika in the eye and waited. It didn't matter if she was going to catch her breath or not. "You are a good fighter, and this has been a good practice." Her muscles tensed in the sumo stance as she never took her eyes off her opponent. I must be able to beat anyone if I am to become yokozuna She then charged at Rika, knowing somethign was coming but usually there was another sumo coming at her at the same speeed with the same power.

Rika had just gotten back to her feet when she heard Akashi slam her fist into the mat. She rounded to her, wondering what she was doing now. Her answer soon came when Akashi charged at her at full speed, and her eyes widened. So far her match wasn't going as planned, but she couldn't let it end so soon. What would 'she' think of her if it did.

She steeled herself as Akashi came barreling at her, and then at the last second she'd suddenly bolt to the side, dropping to the mat and sweeping her leg out to trip Akashi in her charge.

There wasn't much she could do as Rika went to the floor but she wasn't going to let the smaller girl do whatever she wanted. Akashi leapt over the leg and turned her body, slamming into the turnbuckle with her back as the whole ring shook a little. It hurt a little bit, slamming herself into the ringpost but she had a grin on herface as she looked at Rika as if to say, 'that could have been you instead of the ring post'. She stayed where she was for a few seconds to try and fight the little bit of pain coarsing through her back.

Rika stumbled a bit after the ring shook from Akashi's impact into the ring post. If that had hit, no doubt it would have hurt. She wasn't scared though. In her mind she had already fought the toughest person she would ever meet.

It looked like Akashi was hurt after her move, so Rika had to capatilize for the advantage. She quickly ran forward, with a punch reared back to nail in Akashi's gut.

Akashi was indeed hurt, but she didn't need to be in perfect health to lift up her leg. That is what she did as Rika charged. Leaning against the ring post and using it for support, she lifted up her leg in hopes that Rika would carge into it.

"OOFFF!!!" Rika gagged, because she did run right into the leg where it buried itself in her gut. She couldn't believe she was losing like this. She was tougher than this! Wasn't she?

Regardless that kick took a alot out of her, and she would stumble back from Akashi, holding her stomach again.

Akashi took a moment to catch the last of her breath. Once again she would crouch down but she wouldn't stay there for long. She pushed herself up to drive a shoulder into Rika's face and then would reach out to try and get her in a bear hug.
