Lost and Found

Through the halls a young girl was walking, wearing a white tangtop and orange shorts, along with a cap with a skull on it, and a necktie with the same design. She was wandering around aimlessly, searching around but the place. Rika Smart had arrived at the AFW only a few hours ago, and he was already lost.

"This place is bigger than I thought," she muttered to herself idly. Just a couple of hours ago she had gotten off the plane from Canada and taken a cab here so she could sign her contract as a new wrestler of the AFW. But she didn't care about any of that. Rika had come here for one reason and one reason only, to find someone very important to her. "I know she's here, I saw her on TV," she said to herself again. It had been too long since she saw her. She wouldn't stop until they were reunited again.

Rika then wandered into what looked like a gym for working out. There were all kinds of equipment there, like punching bag and free weights, and even a regulation size ring in the center of it all. "Maybe she's in here," she muttered, and set inside, poking around the place for any sign of her friend.

Akashi had been furiously practicing eversince she had lost in the tournament. She hadn't even barely stopped to think about who had clunked her over the had and essentially caused her elimination. If not for that, she knew she would be champion but she knew her opportunity had not been lost. If Kirin couldn't win the belt then Akashi's thought of her had been misguided. She was training now so she wouldn't loose when her time really did come.

She had been in the gym working the punching bag for a while when she decided to see if she could find someone to spar with. Experience was always the best kind of training but she seemed to have caught a slow day. Barely anyone had come tot he gym and she wondered if there was a beach party she didn't know about.

Akashi scanned the room one last time and noticed someone new entering the gym. She walked over with a friendly smile. "Hello!" She said cheerfully. The girl didn't look like she was here for a workout and Akashi didn't recognize her. The AFW facilities were something to behold, a virtual city in a building. If one wanted to they could probably live here and never leave so maybe there was some other reason she was here. She assumed that she was a new wrestler though and greeted her appropriately. "Are you a new wrestler here?"

Rika was surprised when some woman suddenly approached her, a woman wearing a sumo sash. Wow, she's big, Rika thought in awe, and she wasn't just talking about her height. Her breasts were huge! She had no idea why such a woman would approach her, and at first she thought she wasn't allowed to be here. Maybe it was only reserved for the wrestlers.

Wait a minute. I am a wrestler! she thought suddenly. "Yeah, I am a new wrestler!" she declared soon enough, smiling proudly. And then she grew sheepish. "Though, uh, I'm a little lost." She held out her hand to shake. "I'm Rika!"

Akashi smiled at the friendly nature of the woman glad that she hadn't stumbled onto someone surly. Though most of the league was alright, there tended to be a few grumps here and there and that always made ti a pain in the butt.

Akashi grabbed the hand and gave it a good hard shake. "Nice to meet you. "My name is Akashi Tanikaze." Always a bit more formal than most, Akashi didn't mind giving her, her full name. She smiled when she said she was lost. "This place can be pretty intimidating if you don't know your way around." She said. "Especially if you've never been here before. So are you looking for your locker room?" She didn't look like she had much to store at the moment. "I've figured this place out pretty well I would be glad to help you find what you're looking for."

Rika smiled up at the woman named Akashi, giving her a friendly handshake. "Nice to meet you too!" she declared. Rika was lucky to run into someone who seemed to know their way around here. Maybe sheeven knew who they were looking for!

"Uh, no, I'm not looking to go somewhere," she answered to Akashi's question. "I'm actually trying to find someone I know here. A friend of mine...." Rika trailed off unexpectedly, as she was eyeing the wrestling ring in the center of the gym. "Hey, do people really fight in there?" she asked curiously.

"Oh!" Akashi said as she revealed that she was looking for someone. It seemed that a lot of the girls ended up here through friends so it wasn't a huge surprise. Akashi wondered who it was, but her attention was diverted by Rika's question. It seemed rather absurd really but she didn't make it sound that way in her tone when she responded.

"Of course! If we only ever got to wrestle in sanctioned matches we would never have enough practice to win them. Girls wrestle here for lots of reasons. To spar, for excercize or friendly wagers..." She then blushed as she looked at the ring. Sometimes they just fuck each other on it. she thought not saying that last part aloud.

"I'd be happy to have a match with you if you're interested. Better to get some training in before your first match and there isn't any better opponent than me!" She paused. "Unless you need to go find your friend first. Oh... who are you looking for? I might know them."

Rika nodded as she listened to Akashi. It made sense that the gil's here needed to train. She didn't nkow that you could do it here in plain sight. She had to admit, it was tempting. And then her eyes widened when Akashi asked to fight her,

"Really?" she asked excitedly. Truthfully she hadn't fought anyone in awhile. She was starting to fear she was out of practice. And here somebody was offering to spar with her here an now! It would do Rika good to have a first experience in the ring before she made her debut.

"Oh, don't worry about her!" Rika exclaimed when Akashi asked about her friend. "I'll find her after! She'll understand!" She rushed towards the ring, and was already climbing into it. "Come on! Let's do it!"

Akashi was impressed with Rika's enthusiasm. That would definitely help out here. She smiled as the girl entered the ring and followed soon after. She got into the ring and bowed to Rika. "Well since it's your first time let's just keep it simple ok?" She said. "One pinfall or submission. Let's try and avoid knockouts if we can. No sense in getting hurt in a spar right?" She nodded and took a fighting stance, crouching slightly.

"Since you're the junior, I want to see what you got so you can have the first attack." She was by no means offering a free hit but was essentially letting her know that Akashi was not going to charge her, as she liked to do.

Rika blinked when Akashi bowed to her, doing a clumsy bow of her own in return. She was excited because this was her first step to get better in her fighting career. She pouted a bit when Akashi said to aoid knockouts. That was usually the result of her fighting style. She would still fight the way she always did, and nodded resolutely at the sumo. She took of her skull cap and threw it outside the ring.

When Akashi let her have the first hit, Rika smirked at her. "You asked for it," she called. With surprising speed Rika would suddenly rush forward, and try to nail a hard punch into Akashi's face.

Akashi thought, before Rika charged, whether or not she should take what came to see how tough the girl was or try and see if her own abilities were up to dodging an attack. She decided for the later when Rika charged and backpedaled. Her eyes widened, not expectin g the speed and she practically fell over but kept her balance, reaching out to grab Rika's arm and use the momentum to toss her to the mat if she could. Geeze! She's kind of fast and that punch looked like it really could hurt. She thought.
