Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
”Stop!” The referee waved her hands, jumped up and down, tried hard to get Testament’s attention. The audience yelled, too, booing her harder than they’d ever before, with some of them looking like they would even brave a rush into the ring if security wasn’t there to stop them.
Testament paid them no heed. Her thoughts were only on Kyo, and how to utterly annihilate him.
With his head seized and his brain sufficiently addled, she rose up, stood tall, and put his head between her legs, the tell-tale sign of a powerbomb. It would start out like a normal one, too - she lifted him on her shoulders, in the usual position. But that was where the similarities stopped.
Instead of just dropped him from there, Testament let his body slide down her back and held him up under the arms, forcing them out to put him in a crucifix position. That was where he stayed for a moment, too, as Testament took a few steps to show off her power and milk the moment.
When it was over, though, she brought it to a devastating conclusion - with a mighty shove, she hurled him high, grabbed him by the waist, and brought him crashing to the canvas, nailing him with a gruesome variant on a wrestling mainstay - the Crucifix Powerbomb.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
Testament was the only thing keeping Kyo upright at this point: his head rang from that last brutal punch, his vision swirling as he tried to make sense of the increasingly blurring world around him. His body wanted nothing more than to lie down for a bit and maybe relax a little, and he could barely fight that urge any more. He was at the very least conscious that Testament was lifting him up across her, but in his dazed state, the thought didn't occur to him to fight his way out.
The audience could only watch in mounting horror as he was lifted up into the crucifix position. Their cries for him to escape fell on deaf ears, however. Then, a horrible inevitablility, Testament brought Kyo crashing down in her signature move. Kyo's body almost rebounded from the mat, his upper body bouncing up briefly before flopping onto his back, sprawled out with arms wide like some penitent recieving salvation. He lay unmoving on the mat, prompting screams of denial, anger and horror from his fans.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
Kyo hit the mat like a stone, slamming into it with sickening force, rattling the entire ring with his crash. It was a crazy, horrifying moment, and the sort of thing the Tension audience hadn’t quite seen before. Yes, they’d seen women beat men all the time, it was a fairly common occurrence. But it was rarely so brutal and barbaric, and to one of Tension’s most respected veterans…
The crowd booed. The referee stepped back, hesitating. Testament simply stood and looked down at Kyo.
For a moment, a brief moment, she seemed confused, as if she hadn’t quite processed what had just happened, almost like she expected something different to occur. Whatever the case, she snapped out of it, soon enough, and dropped down across Kyo’s chest, pulling up his leg to secure the pin.
The referee was still a bit shocked, but not enough to keep from doing her job. She dropped down and started the count. ”1…!”

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
There was a grim air of finality as the countdown began. The crowd watched and waited, even as they booed and jeered waiting to see if Kyo would somehow get back up. But Kyo wasn't moving: he remained motionless and battered on the mat, out cold after Testament's brutal treatment. All the while, the countdown continued unabated.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
”3…!”
Just like that, it was over. Kyo had put up a worthy offense, there was no questioning that, showing the skill and stamina that you’d expect from a Tension veteran and one of the most respected men on the roster. It had been close, and there was more than one point where it could’ve gone a different. Way. But today, this day, Testament had emerged victorious, in brutal fashion.
The audience allowed themselves to breath a sigh of relief, saddened by the loss, but happy that it was over.
Except it wasn’t.
Only a few seconds had passed after the pin before Testament slid forward and wrapped her hands around Kyo’s neck, squeezing tight in a death grip, choking the life clean out of him with a manic snarl across her lips.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
It was fair to say at this point that Testament had broken Kyo, and done so with terrifyingly ruthless efficiency. The fact that Kyo was no longer moving made it clear that he was unconscious, not to mention possibly in need of medical attention. It even looked like the ref girl was about to check down on Kyo, to see how badly he was hurt, to see just how much Testament had mauled him.
Except, it seemed, the mauling wasn't over yet.
The ref girl was unceremoniously shoved aside as Testament knelt down and began to throttle the prone Kyo. The audience screamed in disbelief as Testament continued to assault Kyo: unable to breathe, Kyo was jolted back into semi-consciousness, breathing raggedly as he clutched weakly at Testament's hands and kicked futilely at the mat.
In the midst of all of this chaos, no one noticed a lone figure making his way to the ring from the sidelines. If they had, they would have noticed three things about this figure: first, that he was male, a tall broad figure clad in a simple t-shirt and jeans: second, that his face was covered in an ornate silver mask that obscured his features completely; and third, that he was carrying a metal folding chair.
So it was that it was a big surprise to all involved when this newcomer suddenly slid into the ring. And with Testament's back turned, he wasted no time swinging the chair down onto the berserker woman's exposed skull.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
As Kyo came back to half-life, a slim grim came over Testament’s face, the first sign of happiness that she’d displayed since she came out of the curtain. He couldn’t know, but this was something she’d look forward to for years, dreamed about a night, used as fuel every day she spent in the gym, training and straining and pushing herself harder and harder.
After waiting for years, she’d finally have the revenge she’d been craving, and it would all start with him. Here and now.
She was focused, looking down at him like they were the only two people in the world, as if nothing else mattered. Not the crowd, not the referee, and definitely not the faint sensation of footsteps entering the ring…
That was, until a chair collided with her skull with hellish force. That interrupted her concentration somewhat.
The giantess opened her mouth for a soundless cry, then fell to the side as she gripped her skull, rolling from tide, growling and hissing and muttering away. Her eyes were shut tight, wincing hard from the pain, but she desperately longed to open them and see just who’d dared to interrupt her in the middle of such an important moment in her life.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
The crowd was unable to believe what was happening. At first, it looked like Testament was on the verge of punishing Kyo further, of throttling him while he was down-- the murderous look in the silver-haired woman's eyes made it abundantly clear that she cared nothing for the rules, or for the ref girl's objections, at this point. For a brief moment, it looked like Testament was going to kill Kyo, even.
And then the stranger had shown up.
Almost no one had noticed his arrival until he had entered the ring, but when they did notice him, the two most salient facts that were noticed was that he wore a mask, and carried a folding chair-- a folding chair that he swung hard on Testament's exposed head. As Testament dropped to the ring floor, she seemed to groan a little and start to struggle to get back up. The masked man's head cocked to the side slightly, as though curious that she was still awake.
Then, raising the chair again, he brought it down on Testament's head a second time, followed by a third-- despite the screaming of the ref, he seemed unwilling to stop until Testament was out cold.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
What was the saying? ‘Rage is one hell of an anesthetic’. If someone was looking for an example, they couldn’t get much better than Testament at the moment, as she seemed driven on by nothing but pure anger. It was slow going, but after the initial chairshot, she was starting to rise again, glaring at the intruder with a look that screamed bloody murder. Pure, visceral hate.
It didn’t matter, though. Testament was an unusual human, but a human all the same, and she could only take so many blows to the head from blunt objects. The second one dropped her flat on the floor, the third ensured she’d be staying there for some time, and anything after that was just icing on the cake.
Testament was out. Cold. Solid.

Re: Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day
After the fourth chair shot or so, the masked figure stopped. Staring down at the prone Amazon, he tossed his chair to the side before looking down at Kyo. Kyo blinked rheumily as he stared up at the stranger, feeling himself fading out after Testament's rough treatment. Finally, the stranger spoke up.
"You really should stop playing the hero, Akamatsu Kyo," he said. "Heroes don't win in the end-- they just suffer, as you do now. Nobility can only last so long in the ring."
Kyo stared in confusion. "What..." was all he said, before his eyes closed and he finally passed out.
Shrugging, the masked figure turned and slid under the ropes, wordlessly leaving the arena as the paramedics rushed in to wheel both fallen wrestlers away.
