Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day

The blow was almost a thing of beauty. Testament moved with a deadly speed and grace, extending her leg out like a lance and striking Kyo squarely. It wasn’t perfect - he managed to block it, and ruined the full impact. But it did its job. Testament obviously was looking for a way to ground her more agile opponent, and she’d done so in grand style. Now she could reap the rewards.

Testament wasted little time, stalking over to Kyo the moment her feet touched the canvas again. As he rolled away, she came after him and reached down, seizing him by the hairs with a fierce, one-handed grip. She pulled him upwards from behind and tried to wrap her other arm around his head, attempting to trap him in an inverted facelock.

Kyo's arm was throbbing dully with pain after blocking that kick-- which said a lot about the force with which Testament had delivered it. Sacking air through his teeth, he rolled onto his front...and felt his scalp burned as Testament grabbed a handful of his hair.

In an instant, he was yanked up to his feet. Irritated, Kyo only had time for one quick elbow back at Testament. Whether it landed or not, however, he would quickly find himself bent back in an inverted facelock. Gasping as his vision was obscured by Testament's muscled arm, he would nonetheless try to shoot a knee up, hoping to nail Testament in the face before she could do whatever it was she was planning.

As with any more that involved Kyo Akamatsu, getting him into the inverted facelock proved easy for Testament - keeping him there was a wholly different story. The elbow she took on the way up was a irritation, but the knee he launched landed right between her eyes, hitting with enough impact to make an audible crack. Perhaps even enough to break the skin.

For a moment it looked like she might release the hold, as her head wobbled from side to side and she rapidly blinked. But when that moment passed, her blank stare was replaced with one full of fury and venom and grim determination.

With a feral roar, she lifted Kyo into the air with the facelock still in tact, holding him upside with her brute strength, lifting his full weight about her head. After a hot second, she promptly dropped into a sit and attempted to drive him into the mat on his upper back between her legs, hitting him with a variation of the fabled Michinoku Driver.

Kyo felt his knees connect. He hoped that would be enough, that it would force a release of Testament's grip. But no, his amazonian opponent was not only relentless, but she seemed impossible to slow down. Almost casually, Kyo was lifted upside down, the blood draining to his head as his eyes widened.

And then there was a rush of gravity as the ring floor came up to meet him. Stars exploded across his vison and his body jolted as it collided with the mat, before he toppled onto his back in front of Testament, stunned by the brutal driver. The crowd was riled up now as they saw Kyo floored by his titanic opponent.

As it so happened, this variation of the Michinoku Driver ended with the victim’s shoulders on the mat, perfect for a pinfall. The referee dropped down quick and started the count immediately. ”1…!”

Though it was a powerful move, the odds were that it wouldn’t have been enough to finish Kyo off. The question of whether it could or not turned out to be moot, though, as Testament broke the count before he had a chance to do it himself, as she reached down between her legs and lifted his head up, getting his shoulders off the mat along with it.

She was prolonging the fight, not wanting him to lose here and now, but that wasn’t the only reason she was hefting his head up. She also did it to put his face in prime position for an elbow to the face, one she brought down right between his eyes.

Kyo felt Testament's powerful body lying against his, pressing him down to the mat. His upper body was still smarting after that last powerful hit, but he knew he had to kick out now. Before he could even build up the willpower to kick out, however, Testament...simply released him, rolling off of him before the countdown could continue.

"Eh?" Kyo gasped, before Testament grabbed a handful of his hair. He gasped even further at this point as he was yanked up to his knees.. before Testament's elbow exploded into his forehead. Stars erupted across his field of vision as the blow sent him flopping back down to the mat, instinctively clutching his forehead as his world turned into an undiscernible haze...

The crowd booed and hissed at the rough treatment, throwing curses towards Testament as she gave Kyo a cheap shot between the eyes. If the giantess heard them, though, she didn’t make an outwards signs of it. Not a look their way. Not a sneer. No finger flips, no cocky grins towards the helpless fans.

It was as if she saw Kyo and only Kyo. The world outside of the ring could rot.

With their hero rolling about in pain on the floor, Testament took a moment to stand up and loomed over him, her long shadow casting over his supine body. She considered him for a moment, staring and thinking and likely considering what to do next, before her decision was made all too clear.

Testament raised her leg up, position her foot above Kyo’s neck, then tried to drop it right down on his thrown, slowly applying more and more pressure to choke him against the canvas. To hurt him. To make him suffer.

Kyo could have sworn he heard something ringing as he clutched his skull. Fumbling blindly on the mat, he tried to roll over, despite the throbbing of his forehead and the kaleidescope that his vision had become. He furiously blinked, trying to clear his vision, trying to--

Something heavy crashed down on his neck, sending pain shooting up both directions through his spine and stopping his breath. Opening his eyes, he saw Testament towering over him, one boot pressed firmly against his windpipe. Gasping uselessly, he clutched at her boot in an effort to dislodge it, unable to strike at her from this position, kicking and flailing as his powerful opponent began to choke the life out of him.

”Hey!” The referee yelled in Testament’s face - or as close as she could get to it with the foot difference in height - as she bore down on Kyo’s neck. Like pretty much everything that wasn’t Kyo Akamatsu, the shining giantess paid her little heed, and continued to grind away at the bug beneath her heel.

”3! 4!”

For a moment, it even seemed like she would ignore the count and continue on, getting herself disqualified, but apparently Testament paid more attention than she let on. She let go of the choke, just as the referee was opening her mouth for a five. With a disdainful nudge from the tip of her shoe to his chest, she casually turned and took a few steps away, giving Kyo a few seconds to catch his breath.

It was clear to everyone, however, that this reprieve wouldn’t last long…

Just as Kyo's vision started to grey, the immense pressure on his throat lifted, and he was able to breathe again. Sucking in air, he clutched his sore throat with one hand as he flopped over onto his side. He didn't need anyone to tell him that this was a bad situation: the match was only a few minutes old and already, he was weak, out of breath, and on the defensive.

He was expecting another attack from Testament-- an attack which never came. Looking in the corner of his eye, he saw the giantess backing away, eyeing him coldly. Something about the cold, casualness of her attitude told him that she was just toying with him at this point. Trying to suppress his frustrated anger, Kyo tried to rise, keeping an eye on his opponent all the while..
