Abbey Abraxas vs Kyo Akamatsu

STANDRARD PROSTYLE MATCH

The arena was mostly quiet as the crowd waited for the next match to start. Lately, there had been a lot of bouts between relative newcomers, and rising superstars had been making their mark, earning their shares of fans and admirers. Word had spread that another newcomer to AFW was about to have a debut match tonight against one of Tension's seasoned pros. The audience was eager to see who this new girl or guy was, and how they would do in their debut match.



The arrival of the first wrestler was announced as "Battery" by Metallica began to play. Fans burst into cheers as Kyo Akamatsu, the "Samurai of AFW," entered the arena, striding down the ramp with his usual stoic, relentless gait. As usual, Kyo wore his standard knee-length black pants, leaving his fit, tattooed upper body for his fangirls to ogle over. In his years as a member of AFW's Tension roster, Kyo had earned a good reputation and a solid fanbase. While he wasn't a powerhouse like Killer King and, admittedly, didn't have half the charisma of Clyde Gastin or newcomer Domino, he was still liked for being a serious-minded face, a noble warrior in a roster of troublemakers or bad boys, and he still had a core of fans because of that.

As Kyo strode down the ramp, he smiled and gave his fans a few passing nods, before rolling under the ropes and hopping to his feet. He rotated his shoulders as he watched the opposite ramp for his opponent, easing the tension in his muscles. This was the part of the match that always held the most anticipation, the part where he wondered who Miss Sellers had matched him up against this time...

Abbey bounced on her heels backstage. She was super pumped for her debut match. Finally, she was getting paid to do something she loved. It was the greatest feeling she could think of and she wasn't going to stop until her body gave out. She raised her fist in the air and sprint down the ramp at full speed. Being new to the league, she only received mild applause but she didn't care. The fame and fortune that would come eventually was nice, but she was here to do one thing, take this dude doooown!

Abbey slipped into the ring and hopped up. Abbey pushed her left hand against her right shoulder and began to rotate her right arm in a circle. She did the reverse and then tugged on the ropes. After that, she turned and looked at the audience and held out her hand, one index finger held up for Kyo. Abbey then began to sprint, running ropes as she bounded from one side to another, back and forth a few times. It was great to have really arrived but there was business to be had. She turned and looked over Kyo's chiseled form and nodded. "Nice." She said as she took her glasses off and handed them to the ref. She marched over to Kyo. "I hope that body isn't just for show, I'm not interested in how it looks, just what it can do!" Abbey extended out her hand. "Abbey Abraxas, reporting for ass kicking duty!" She said with a big smile. "You're the ass who's getting the boot, right?" She quipped with a playful gleam in her eye.

Kyo watched with interest as his opponent arrived in the ring. She was an American girl, blonde, with a tall, deceptively strong build and wearing what appeared to be glasses and a schoolgirl's jacket over a simple shirt and thong. Despite this odd appearance, though, she carried herself with a confidence that told Kyo she wasn't apprehensive at all about this fight. He watched as she bounced across the ropes, letting off some of her energy before the match. Already, the crowd seemed to be loving her.

As Abbey extended a hand to him, Kyo grinned back and shook it. "Kyo Akamatsu, a pleasure," he replied. Abbey wasn't unattractive, though even if Kyo didn't have the self-control that he did, the girl had already made it plain she wasn't interested. "Though I'm not the one who's ass is getting kicked tonight. Believe me, you'll get a full demonstration of what my body can do in a few minutes." Remembering how Makie had always told him he should work on his banter, he quickly added "I just hope you aren't handicapped without your glasses. I'd hate to have an unfair advantage."

Abey gave Kyo's hand a firm squeeze when the boy extended it. She gave a polite nod as well and then stepped back into her corner. She leaned against the turnbuckles and looked over Kyo. "I'm more interested in seeing how it bends and twists." She said. "Let's hope you're flexible, I don't play around." Abbey laughed. "Well, I like to have fun, but fun is serious stuff." Abbey shrugged and bounced on her heels while she waited for the bell to ring.

Once she heard the clang, she shot forward towards Kyo and dropped to her knees, throwing her body forward and looking to shot, rather than go with the standard lock up. She was a greco-roman wrestler, after all. It was much more natural to be on her knees.

Abbey's words made it abundantly clear that she was a serious competitor, and, despite being a newcomer, not at all a stranger to wrestling. She had a strong, confident attitude, and Kyo found himself watching her carefully as she settled into the corner. As he tensed, readying himself for the match, he had a feeling he was going to enjoy this bout if Abbey was as serious a fighter as she made herself out to be.

The bell rang, and as Kyo sprang forwards, he saw Abbey come charging right at him. He tensed, expecting a clothesline, but to his surprise Abbey instead dropped low for a classic amateur takedown! Surprised, Kyo reacted a fraction of a second too late, as Abbey wrapped her arms around his waist and slammed him down back-first into the mat!

"UGH!" he grunted, as much out of surprise as pain. Even as Abbey took him down, his own grappler's instincts took over, and he wrapped an arm around Abbey's blonde head, pressing her against his abs as she had him by the waist. At the same time, he tried to swing his legs up around her body and squeeze. He hadn't expected Abbey to go for a classic takedown like this, but a nice bit of grappling was a nice diversion from the usual strikes and slams.

Abbey ad wanted the legs but had gotten the waist. She'd take anything she could get but she felt Kyo's hard, impressive abs against her face as she brought him down. She grunted with him but she was in a good position even as Kyo wrapped his arm around her head and his legs around her body.

Abbey grinned as she paused in the hold, taking a moment to figure out her next move. Abbey spread her legs and tried to roll Kyo onto his shoulders by pushing up on her legs. She was used to being on the mats but professional wrestling held a lot more options for her. "Not bad, but I've still got the leverage." She said as she turned her body, pivoting Kyo with her as she looked for a spot to maneuver. Her pushed out and she stretched her body, trying to maneuver it so she could fit Kyo's head underneath her arm. She used her other arm to hold Kyo's leg in place, trying to turn the position into a bit of an ab stretch on the hard bodied fighter.

Kyo gritted his teeth as he grappled with Abbey on the mat, blushing a little as he felt his opponent's sizeable chest rubbing up against his abs. He thought he had had the powerful blonde, but Abbey quickly demonstrated she was quite skilled, pressing Kyo down further onto his back, putting his shoulders against the mat. Conscious of a countdown, Kyo twisted slightly to get a shoulder off the mat, feeling Abbey's warm breath on his chest as the two of them grappled front-to-front. "Nnnh...you're good..." he managed to say, smiling slightly all the while. It had been too long since he had last had a proper grappling match.

Feeling Abbey twisting over as she grabbed for his head, Kyo gasped as he suddenly felt himself being trapped. Maintaing his own two grips, he would try to use Abbey's momentum against her, trying to roll the two of them over onto her back. If he managed it, then he would spread his legs to prevent further rolling and press his free hand against her chin, pushing back on it as he tried to pull his head free. If he failed, though, then he would find himself caught in an impromptu ab stretch on the mat.

In the background, oblivious to either of them, the crowd cheered enthusiastically at the sight of these two fit and attractive wrestlers pushing and twisting against one another.

Abbey had thought she had gotten an impromptu ab stretch on Kyo but it mostly relied on Kyo's willingness to keep himself in a painful position and, as they rolled and reversed positions, it seemed like he was not willing to do that. Fortunately, when her back hit the mat, to keep them from rolling all around the ring, Kyo was forced to let go of the scissors.

Abbey's chest pressed against Kyo's body as she inhaled and exhaled deeply, not worried about a pin count while she still had his head in the lock which left her shoulder pulled up. While Kyo tried to pull his head free, Abbey bridged and then dropped so their hips and pelvises dropped together. She then lashed out her legs and attempted to grapevine Kyo from underneath him, giving away the head control to try and spread his legs widely and painfully. She just hoped he wasn't THAT enthusiastic about wrestling her or he was in for a bit more pain that he might be willing to endure.

Kyo knew from looking at her that Abbey was strong, but even so, he found himself working really hard to keep up with her as the two of them struggled on the mat. Even as the two grappled, even as Kyo managed to get on top, Abbey maintained a grip around his head. This close to his shapely opponent, Kyo found himself impressed by her strength...and, perhaps, a little aroused as well.

"You're...good..." he managed to breathe, before he suddenly felt Abbey sliding her legs under his to spread them for a grapevine. Cursing, Kyo winced as his legs were forced apart, but he wasn't helpless. With one hand, he suddenly pressed a palm against Abbey's chin and pushed back on it, hoping to put some pressure on her neck and distract her from her grapevine. For added measure, he tried to position his hand in such a way that it would smother her slightly.

If this caused Abbey's grip to loosen, then he would try to pull his head free and try to snag Abbey in a frontal sleeper. If Abbey maintained her grip, however, then he would use his free hand to ram punch after punch into her side. This was a prostyle match after all, and as much as he enjoyed a good bout of grappling, he also had a match to win.

"Damn skippy." Abbey chirped back when Kyo complimented her. Kyo was pretty good too, but HE didn't need to know that. She was too busy trying to put the squeeze on his legs with her grapevine to start a compliment war. Abbey was feeling the resistance from Kyo as he pushed at her chin. She winced and craned her neck but he wasn't going to give up her hold.

She had him pretzeled up pretty good and she was definitely wearing him down! or so she thought when she felt a burst o pain in her side. Abbey's eyes widened and all the ground she gained was lost as she untangled like a snapped cord and rolled off Kyo, clutching her side. "Ungh!"

"Nice." She said, rubbing her side. "If this is the kind of match you're going to give me, then this will be even more fun than I thought it would be." Grappling was her forte so she was curious to see how she might do when she fought a guy who wasn't afraid to hurl a punch her way. She just hoped he could take it when it was HER turn to toss out a fist or two.
