Strategy: Testament’s number one goal in any match isn’t to win, but to punish opponents she deems unworthy. To this end, she employs a wide array of both power moves, strikes, and submissions focused on disabling her foe and leaving them unable to resist, and from there she goes about her ‘lesson’, which typically involves a high degree of violence. Whether she truly thinks she’s reforming the women she breaks or if she’s just sadistic is anyone’s guess, but it hardly matters to her victims.

Preferred Matches: She will accept any sort of match, but just because she does, doesn’t mean she’s interested in following the match’s guidelines. Will crossover with Friction on a whim.

Strikes: ★★★★- Her blows aren’t that fast, but she has long reach and hits with brutal force.
Submissions: ★★★ - They’re not her typical go-to, but she does have a few choice submissions for punishing the unworthy. She also has a taste for choking her enemies when she can get away with it.

Lightning:

One of Testament’s fastest, most punishing moves, which she uses to punish her quicker opponent. She leaps, cycles her legs in a bicycle motion, and shoots her heel out at rapid speeds, landing powerful kick to the face. She can do this from almost any position, often preferring to bring it out when she appears winded and hurt. On weaker foes, it often knocks them outright.

Thunder:

A samoan drop - with her oncoming or stationary opponent, Testament dips down, carries them across her shoulder, and immediately falls back, using her crushing weight to hammer them into the mat.

Heaven’s Wrath:

A swinging side slam - with an oncoming opponent, Testament moves in and uses their momentum against them, lifting them up and spinning about to build up the impact. After a rotation or two, she drops down and slams the captured opponent into the mat, full force.

Confession:

A standing arm-triangle, and one of the few submission moves that Testament applies with any real regularity.  Moving in close, she wraps her arms around  her opponent’s neck and under their arms, then lifts them off the ground to face her, squeezing and applying intense pressure. She can either use this move to knock out opponents outright, or weaken them for her final finisher.

Crucifix:

The Crucifix Powerbomb - Testament typically uses this move after her opponent has been beaten to the point that they can no longer truly resist, when their body is crushed and their resistance is at a minimum. She lifts them up in what appears to be a standard powerbomb at first, until she moves to hold her opponent’s arms, spreading them out and putting them on display. She holds this for a moment to drink in the scene, then either runs forward or drops to her knees as she hurls them into the mat, slamming them onto their back.  

Personality: Testament is a strange woman to get a handle on. She’s certainly colder and more calculating than she was during her early AFW, but there’s more to it than that. While she claims to be doing what she does merely to teach the wrestling world a lesson and shame her opponents, there’s an undeniable vindictiveness and rage to her actions. She claims the Voice merely tells her what to do and she heeds its instructions, but many suspect she simply uses that as a scapegoat.

If she does get some enjoyment out of hurting her foes, it doesn’t show on her face, which remains stalwart and stoney regardless of the situation. This can be off-putting, as she tears her foes apart with fervor, yet with a face that remains stoic. Regardless of her motives, she makes no secret her distaste for the AFW’s ways, and the way it sexualizes wrestling. She claims to be a paragon of true wrestling, and few would have the nerve to contest that claim to her face.

History:


Angelica Faust had a rough time in high school. Though she was a gifted wrestler, she was never very popular, growing up taller than most women and with an awkward, ungainly look. She did have a dream, however - one day, she wanted to join the AFW.  She watched the matches and became fascinated by them, not just by the athletic prowess on display, but the open sexuality and the free nature of it all. It seemed like a place where a woman like her could prosper...with the right adjustments.

After leaving high school, she trained and prepared for over a year to reach the AFW. She had surgery to enlarge her breast, which she felt would make her a more promising prospect. She worked hard, trained, studied, and when the time came, she was finally brought over.

To Sex Wars.

The earliest iteration of what would one day became known as Tension was an odd fit for Angelica. It wasn’t the wrestling she’d come hoping for, and she felt herself more isolated than ever in the strange apartment where most of the fights took place. Her alienation culminated after a string of particularly embarrassing sexual defeats to male opponents took their toll on her - she wound up leaving the AFW in tears.

It was tempting to simply retreat into her shell, give up and go home, and that was nearly what Angelica did...until she heard the Voice.

The Voice came to her, whispered in her ear. It told her she had a higher purpose, and that her time with the AFW was not done, that she had to go back. It put her on a mission to purify the AFW of its hentai trapping, to make it more respectable, to use her strength and talent to speak to the AFW community in the only language it truly understood - violence.

So, with that singular goal in mind, Angelica left Japan and toured the world, ramping up her training, moving through various organizations, perfecting her craft while staying off the radar. After seven years of hard work and dedication, she’s finally returned to the AFW, with only the smallest sliver of the woman she was when she left. Harder, stronger, better, with a new name to reflect her new outlook on life - Testament.
