Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]

Since Valley spent so much of her time flying around and flipping about the ring, people might’ve been lead to believe that would give her some immunity to taking tumbles like that, that she’d be able to recover from it faster than a normal person. Heck, Valley herself had believed that.

Well, in truth, there was nothing quite like getting dumped out of the ring and falling nearly ten feet to the ground to ruin your day. She was just getting her bearings, too, when Emily made her way out of the ring and forced her up to her feet. She supposed she should’ve been glad the Wrestle Angel didn’t grab her by the hair, like so many wrestlers would’ve, but it was bad news beyond that.

Another Irish Whip, this time into the barricades. What could’ve been the start of a downward spiral, if Valley didn’t start changing things up.

Emily let her go for the whip, but Valley didn’t let her go, holding tight to her opponents wrist to keep from getting sent off. She spun about, pulled hard on the arm to yank herself forward, and came at Emily with a wild elbow to the face. ”Apology accepted!”

So far, Emily was on a roll. The match was still young, but already, Emily was getting plenty of good hits in against the Entropy Champion. Valley was reeling and hurt, kneeling facedown on the ringside floor after being hammered relentlessly by the Noble Fighter. Dragging the Slamazon up, Emily moved to fling her into the barricades, to keep hammering at her and reducing her ability to fight back...

...except, as Valley quickly proved, that hadn't been reduced at all. Emily felt Valley keep a hold on her arm, and was nearly pulled off balance...just enough to be pulled forward as Valley's elbow snapped out. "UGH!" Emily grunted, the blow whirling her head to the side and making it ring like a bell. Clutching her head, she stumbled back, momentarily blind and dazed, as Valley's fans cheered at her getting some hits back in against the relentless Scotswoman...

Now, that was a good impact. Valley didn’t often care much for the upperbody strikes, but they had their uses in a pinch, and catching opponents like Emily off their guard was one of them. It wasn’t enough to knock the Scot down, but it did stun her, leaving her open for a precious moment. In a match like this, that could be an eternity.

Instead of letting her stumble away, Valley kept her hold on the wrist and yanked Emily towards her as she ducked down, pulling her over and lifting the Wrestle Angel up on her shoulders with a Fireman’s Carry. Not one of her typical moves, and she was thankful that Emily wasn’t that much heavier than she was - this was certainly not something she would’ve dared to try on Chris Morgan. In any event, she didn’t plan on her keeping her there for long.

With a scream of effort, Valley fell to the side and dropped Emily’s back to the floor as she went, looking to slam her opponent with her a move that shared her name as well - the Death Valley Driver.

Emily suppressed a curse as she stumbled back. For such a wild blow, Valley's elbow had still hit like a brick. Even as Emily staggered back, she felt Valley still holding onto her arm, anchoring her in place-- a canny move that most other wrestlers would have neglected to do.

With only one hand free, all Emily could do was swing back at Valley with a clubbing forearm blow, but by this time Valley was already ducking low and hoisting Emily up onto her shoulders. The surprise at being lifted up by her smaller opponent was, thankfully, brief, but alarm bells were ringing in Emily's head: she squirmed in her opponent's grip, kicking her legs, trying to unbalance the champion. She managed to get an arm free enough that she could start slamming it against Valley's side.

Valley didn't give her the chance. Tilting sideways, Valley dropped, slamming Emily down hard into the ringside floor. A silent scream erupted from Emily's mouth as the impact juddered up her spine, and she was left sprawled on her back, one leg kicking up weakly as her eyes screwed in pain.

While there were mats out of the ring floor, they were thin, small things, meant for only the smallest level of protection, less than anything Valley would’ve trained on. She knew when she picked Emily up, the Wrestle Angel would be going for a wild, painful ride, but that sort of thing was inevitable at this point. You had to work with the situations you were given.

She winced at the impact and could almost imagine the pain going through her opponent’s body, but that wouldn’t stop her from capitalizing on it. Valley only took a moment to sit up after the impact, hissing as her back screamed in protest, before she spun around on her knees and went into action. Wrestling in a nutshell.

Emily was down, and while she doubted it would be enough to score a win, she knew it was a chance she couldn’t afford to ignore - mostly to win, but also because she didn’t want to give her the chance to repay the favor. Valley grabbed that weakly kicking leg with one arm, pressed down on the Wrestle Angel’s chest with the other, and went for the pinfall.

The referee, who’d just slid out of the ring to join them, dropped to her knees for the count. ”1…!”

That Death Valley Driver (and at this point, Emily could see what Valley had done there) had hurt. A lot. The thin parchment of matting had done little to cushion the impact, and she clenched her teeth, trying to clench back a groan as she lay flat on her hurting back. It had been going so well up until this point...but then, Emily should have expected Valley to make a serious fight back at some point.

Emily was still grounded on her back when she felt Valley press down on her, covering her for the pin. An irritated hiss escaped her clenched teeth, and she kicked out, getting a shoulder off the mat. She might have been down, but the Noble Fighter still had a long way to go before she was about to be pinned.

”1…!”

”Comeoncomeon-”

With her aches from the fall, even the simple act of pinning her opponent hurt Valley Doll, as she tried to post up a bit with her legs and failed. Despite that, though, she didn’t hate her chances of picking up the win, here. Emily was clearly lucid, but maybe if she was hurting enough and the weight was pressed down just right…

Nope. The referee had just started to bring her hand down for the second count when Emily kicked out, proving that this match was still in its infancy. The crowd loved it. Valley...was impressed by the tenacity, with simultaneously being a wee bit annoyed by it.

With a huff, she grabbed Emily by the head and stood up, forcing the Wrestle Angel into a sitting position while she moved behind her. The DVD might not have gotten a pinfall, but it had given her a target - Emily’s back had a bullseye on it, as far as she was concerned.

With that in mind, Valley reared her leg back threw a harsh shin kick between Emily’s shoulders. ”Double!” And another one, right after that. ”Tap!”[/color]

"Ah..." Her back was still throbbing, and so the act of kicking out didn't exactly feel pleasant for Emily. As Valley backed away, Emily gritted her teeth, tried to fight past the pain, and tried willing herself to move so that she would not be vulnerable on the ring floor. Still, she had stopped the countout and had sent the clear message that she was in this fight. A message that Valley, she was certain, had gotten as well. 

As if to emphasize the point, the Slamazon grabbed Emily by the hair. She gasped as her scalp burned and she was yanked into a sitting position. A second later, a hard boot point slammed against the small of her back, hitting where Emily had already been brutally slammed. "Ah!" Emily gasped loudly...and then gasped even more loudly as, a second later, Valley hit the same spot. "AHH!" The blow sent Emily toppling onto her front, her face a grimace of pain that was hidden by the sprawl of her pink hair. The most she could do at this point was dig her elbows into the mat and try to crawl...though to where, she wasn't sure.

It wasn't for nothing, Emily was discovering, that this girl was the Entropy Champion.

The crowd - those on her and Emily’s side alike - called out with Valley as she landed the brutal kicks, hitting her marks both time and dealing impressive damage. The ‘Double Tap’ was an unofficial signature move of Valley’s at this point, something she always brought out to make a hurting opponent hurt even more. In this case, it was devastating, and it put Emily Nelson right where she wanted her.

For the moment. Had to stay with her. Had to keep it going. ”All right, Emily, let’s take a trip.”

Valley grasped Emily by the arm and tugged her back to her feet, forcing her to stand and expel more energy than she likely wanted to in the process. As soon as she was up, the Slamazon reeled back and whipped her arm forward, slicing into the Wrestle Angel’s chest with a knife edge chop.

Just a little something keep the pain up and start working her around the ring. Incentive.

Whereas before Emily's back had simply been aching, now it was throbbing with raw pain after Valley had targeted with those brutal kicks of hers. Emily sucked in air through clenched teeth, and tried to will herself to move. Her body, numbed by those repeated back blows, simply would not respond. Damn it all, but Valley had gotten her good.

It was perhaps a small mercy that Valley grabbed her by the arm, pulling her to her feet. Emily stumbled upright, swayed...and found herself faltering, nearly toppling over. It took a lot of effort on her part for her not to do so. Effort that left her open to repeated attacks.

The knife edge chop cut hard into her generous bosom, causing her to gasp as air was expelled from her lungs. Beneath the fishnet of her fabric, her chest visibly compressed against the blow. She swayed again, the impact threatening to bowl her off her feet...

She stayed standing, gritted her teeth, and did not budge. If Valley expected her to drop again, then she was sorely mistaken. She did double over, cover her chest with one arm, but she did not budge. Breathing hard, but glaring, she retaliated, swinging a knife edge chop of her own at Valley's chest, aiming right for the little heart-shaped window of her outfit.
