Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Emily couldn’t see it from where she was standing, but Valley was rolling her eyes at the little comeback. Somehow, she wasn’t to learn that Emily Nelson loved her Full Nelsons. Heck, she’d seen enough matches where the Wrestle Angel used the relatively simple move to devastating effect, and even this half version was impressively locked in. ”Natasha loved her Russian Legsweeps. Peas in a pod, you two.”
As much as she would’ve loved to chat about the fine points of wrestling move comedy, she could sense the taller woman trying to make good on her promise. The snapmare was well timed, flipping Emily away before she could make it into something worse, something even harder to escape from. That hardly meant she was out of the woods.
She couldn’t enjoy the reversal for a second before Emily pulled her down and snapped on the scissorhold around her neck, using those toned thighs to give Valley a taste of the same medicine she’d been dealing out less than a minute ago. While Emily didn’t have the honor of having the strongest scissors she’d ever had to endure, she was definitely in the top five, maybe even top three. Staggering power that left the Slamazon flopping on the floor, gasping for every stray wisp of air she could catch.
It was a nice view, though.
Valley didn’t know how long she could last in this hold and she didn’t want to know. Gritting her teeth hard, she started to work her way, attempting to squirm enough so her head turned away from Emily’s body. If she could get that much unhindered, well, she’d work from there.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
There were so many ways that little counter of Emily's could have gone wrong, and left her on the mat and vulnerable to whatever the champion had next. Thankfully, her speed and skill were enough to see the move succeed, yanking Valley down and snagging her head in a scissor. So far, so good, Emily knew. The more she kept Valley grounded, the better this match would go for her. Thus far, she was quite happy that she was holding her own against the champ.
"Comfortable down there, love?" Emily teased, making sure to grind Valley's head a little further in her scissors, her opponent's short blonde hair barely visible between her alluring thighs. "If not, no shame in tapping." She was not surprised to feel Valley struggling hard to free herself, rotating her body so that her head was angled away from Emily. Knowing what was coming, Emily gritted her teeth and tried to keep the hold locked. From the way the two women were angled, Emily couldn't lean forward to grab onto Valley, and knew that sooner or later Valley was going to break free...

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
”Yeah, keep dreaming.” Valley had to wheeze out her response.
Emily had her, there was no getting around that. Her headscissor was tight, and while the ropes were an option to break, they were far away. Six or so feet could feel like miles in a hold like this, and even if Valley did reach them unmolested, she’d wind up losing a lot of energy in the process. Precious energy. She had the feeling that she wouldn’t be done with Emily Nelson for a while to come.
But those weren’t her only options. She had an idea. A little something she hadn’t tried in a while.
She continued to work her body around, until it was perfectly parrallel with Emily, facing away. She stood up, at least as much as she could with her head anchored down. Her legs posted on the floor, her body bent forward, her arms grasping the legs tight.
Deep breath. And go.
Valley lifted her lower body up, raised it into the air, and for a moment she kept there, doing a perfect headstand. That end, though, when she jerked them towards Emily’s head, so her feet came down on both sides of the Wrestle Angel. At the same time, she curled her upper body, trying to lift Emily’s legs with her. It wouldn’t be enough to free her head most likely, but that was hardly the point.
She curled up as much as she could and posted with her feet, trying to make a backbridge pin, and the referee dropped to start the count up.
”1…!”
It wasn’t likely to get the pinfall - not this early, not this easy. But if she could just give Emily incentive to let go of her head, she’d be more than happy.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Emily had expected Valley to fight fiercely to escape her scissor. What she didn't expect was for the champion to rotate her body so it was almost parallel to hers, while in said scissor. She was even more surprised when Valley managed to bring her legs up in the way she did. Her own scissor hold was rapidly loosening, and as much as Emly was fighting to hold on, she knew that Valley was only one move away from turning the tides on her.
And then she did just that.
After Valley executed an impressive handstand, Emily found herself rolled up, her scissor hold almost immediately coming loose as Valley countered by wrapping her up in a solid pin. Hearing the ref girl counting down next to them, Emily gave an irritated curse and kicked out, trying to get a shoulder up.
At this stage, the audience was still on edge: for all of the brutality that a no count-outs match promised, these two ladies seemed tentative so far in their moves, almost as though they were testing one another. It seemed only a matter of time before the match heated up.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Emily got her shoulder up before the pinfall could even get halfway complete. Of course she did. That was the sort of thing that would’ve only worked on someone new to the squared circle, and Emily had forgotten more about the ring than most women on the roster would ever forget.
But that was fine. All Valley wanted was to not have a pair of steel thighs hammering on her skull, so her little counter accomplished that. The moment the pin failed, she rolled away from the Wrestle Angel and grabbed the nearest rope, using it to pull herself up with one hand while she rubbed her neck with the other.
The audience gave the obligatory round of applause, cheering on the brief flurry of furious wrestling, the display of upper level technique. Valley was having flashbacks to her matches with Natasha, seeing a lot of her former foe in her current one. That same focus. That same drive. That same confidence. She only hoped Emily was seeing the same thing when she looked at her.
Valley shook it off and pushed off the ropes, beginning to circle around Emily once again and bidding the Angel to do the same. She moved faster now, had more sprint in her step, moved with bolder strides, closing in on Emily’s range and daring her to try and catch her. ”Good warmup, Nelson. Ready for the real thing?”

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Emily was not surprised to see Valley back on her feet and ready for another go. If anything, judging by what she'd seen of her in her previous matches, she would be surprised otherwise. The girl had an energy and a relentless drive to her that Emily couldn't help but admire, and she only needed to look into her eyes to see that she was in it to win it. She would have made one hell of a Wrestle Angel, Emily thought to herself.
Still...after that brief exchange of technical moves, Emily now knew firsthand what Valley could do, and vice versa. From this point onward, it would be war.
"Gladly!" Emily replied as she darted sideways, mirroring Valley's moves. She would initiate the festivities by closing range, darting in to lock up with Valley...and then, upon doing so, spinning her body to the side, aiming to bury a padded knee into Valley's bare midsection!

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
As the two veterans circled, Valley Doll felt like a gunslinger in the middle of the street, facing down a dozen yards away. Tense. Tight. Focused. She was the faster one of the two, she was sure on that, but that didn’t necessarily mean she’d win the draw. Emily was no slouch, either, and she had great reflexes. Her mind worked in overtime, doing the calculations, guessing at the most minute moves, trying to anticipate where and when the Wrestle Angel would pounce.
This time - this time - she guessed wrong. Or maybe Emily guessed right. Either way, she move a split second after her opponent did, and that made all the difference. Valley moved in, looking to dodge the lock up and duck under Emily’s arms, only to find herself moving into the path of the real attack: a knee. The strike landed in the middle of her chest and sent the Slamazon reeling away, arms flying and feet skittering.
She backed up all the way to the ropes and that was where she stayed, leaning against them for support as she rubbed the sore spot.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Whatever it was that Valley had been planning, it had just been successfully interrupted by Emily's errant knee. As Valley grunted and stumbled backward, Emily followed after her, even as the American stumbled back and sprawled into the ropes. Emily knew better than to give an opponent of this caliber a moments rest, especially in a championship match like this. Anything less, she knew, would be an insult to Valley.
Leaning against Valley and pressing her hands against her shoulders, Emily would tilt her body to the side and drive another knee into the blonde's stomach while she was trapped on the ropes. Assuming that happened, then she would back off before the ref gave her trouble, grab one of Valley's arms and whip her across the ring. She would be running to meet the American the moment she rebounded, aiming to nail her with a hard drop kick to the chest or midsection the moment she rebounded.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
Up against the ropes, stunned, hurting, with nowhere to go except out of the ring or towards a waiting opponent.
There were precious few worse positions a wrestler could find herself in, Valley figured, and yet there she was - hurt and hanging like a ripe fruit, just ready to be plucked. Emily wasted little time. Before the Slamazon could recover, she was on her, grabbing her by the wrist, swinging back, and sending her off.
An Irish Whip from the Scot. Valley would've made the joke if she had the time.
This wouldn’t have been a problem most times - in fact, this could’ve been a good thing. Against most opponents, Valley could have just sped up, used it as a opportunity to counter and outrun, put her speed to good use. But Emily Nelson once again proved she was far from typical - as soon as Valley turned aroud off the ropes, she was right there. In her face. Or, rather, her feet were.
The dropkick landed dead center on her chest, right in the heart, and sent the Slamazon flying over the ropes. She tumbled to the apron, then rolled off and fell flat to the floor, landing face down for a less-than-graceful crash.
She started to push up a moment later, groggily getting to her hands and knees, as the crowd cheered - after all, this was Falls Count Anywhere match, and they were about to get what they paid for.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs. Emily Nelson - Better Angels [FWC]
It all wound up working better than expected. Stunned by Emily's hard knee to her gut, Valley was unable to fight back as Emily womanhandled her and Scottish whipped (yes, yes, she knew) her across the ring. Valley was still hurting and wobbly as she bounced back, Emily's quick pursuit not even giving her time to defend herself before the drop kick slammed into her, flooring her like a wet pile of rags.
Emily smiled grimly as she rolled to her feet...a grin that vanished as Valley rolled out of the ring. Even though this was a falls count anywhere match, a part of her still felt reluctant about taking this outside of the ring where it was...well, proper. As much as she wanted a proper match, though, she was the one who had proposed this, if only because the stakes almost demanded it. All the same, if the crowd wanted a ringside brawl, then they would bloody well get one.
Rolling out of the ring after Valley, Emily dropped to the ringside floor and walked after her, relentlessly following her hurting opponent. Valley was on her hands and knees at this point, struggling to get upright. Wasting no time, Emily grabbed Valley by the arm, moving to pull the Slamazon to her feet.
"My apologies, luv," she said, "this is about to get a lot less ladylike." So saying, she would twist, spinning around as she aimed to whip her opponent hard into the ringside barricades!
