“Hardcore.”

The crowd was thrilled to hear those words coming from the referee’s mouth, even though she said them with more than a few hints of nervous. A championship match alone was more than they expected to be getting tonight, but a hardcore one at that? It was a special treat, Christmas come early, and it was happening now. Right now.

Valley kept up her smirk, looked confident, but inside she couldn’t hide a few pangs of doubt. She knew that a hardcore match was always a possibility, but she’d hoped that it wouldn’t be her first defense, at least against someone with muscles bigger than her head. Truth told, Valley could count on two hands all the hardcore matches in her entire career, and she wouldn’t need anywhere close to all her fingers. Her own back at Slamazons had loved gimmick matches, sure, but he liked to stay away from the tougher, no DQ stuff. When you’re running a tight indy fed, the last thing you want is for the few wrestlers you have to make routine hospital visits.

She’d had one hardcore match since joining the AFW, against Amethyst Velour, a crazier, but smaller woman. Not to mention, she knew nothing about her opponent aside from her name and the fact that she was built like a shot putter. It didn’t bode well

But she wanted the Entropy Title, she got the Entropy Title, and all the little things that came with it. Valley was in. ”Let’s do this.”

She stepped back and handed the belt over to the referee and stepped back and raised the belt high in the air, while the announcer chimed in from the relative safety of the ringside desk.

”The following match is scheduled for one fall, and is for the AFW Entropy Championship. Introducing first, from parts unknown, with height and weight unlisted - LEA!”

That got a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd, lukewarm at best. They didn’t know quite what to make of this newcomer, it seemed, and Valley could relate. It was hard to deny the guts it took to come out here and take on a champ, but at the same time, you could see it as overstepping your bounds, moving too fast.

”And, in this corner, weighing in at 134 pounds and standing at five feet, six inches. She is your Entropy Champion, VALLEY DOLL!”
     
God, Valley loved the sound of that.        

She did a quick spin on her heel as the audience cheered, embracing their appreciate with a lovely smile. With that done, she turned back to Lea as the referee handed the belt off. The bell rang shortly after, and Valley started to circle around her with hesitating steps, wanting to feel this woman out before she made any big moves

Had any other been in her scenario, they would of likely showered Valley Doll with praise, not only for allowing them such an opportunity, but one followed up on so quickly at that. Yes Valley had to adhere to the stipulation clause of the Entropy belt, but no-where in her title clause did it say the Slamazon had to actively defend her belt, in an open challenge scenario too of all things. She could of simply sat in the back and watch the world go by as her days as champion holder increased, until management finally forced the woman to compete.

Hell, many had.

Instead, Lea merely rolled her shoulders and clicked her knuckles; appreciation not exactly ripe with the blonde. Everything that happened on wards was now Valleys fault, she figured.

A smile coming across her face as her eyes fell the canvas, it seemed that the blonde having herself announced for a change rather than her entrance doing it for her was a nice touch, one Lea would have seen to make permanent if she could actually communicate enough to secure herself an announcer. Her reception as lukewarm as her initial arrival, Lea simply grunted as Valley received a near room-full ovation; the fans as ever receptive to not only a kind and skillful wrestler who sought to put on a show, but one who genuinely sought to earn their approval. The blonde before her couldn't of been a more different woman.

Bell echoing and match now in effect, Lea too began to circle Valley as she sought to analyse the Slamazon before lunging in. She was confident, cocky even, and fear was as ever devoid in Lea's heart. But even the rash blonde could appreciate that Valley Doll was Entropy Champion for a reason.

Valley wasn’t sure whether Lea was mute by choice or by chance. It was a weird thing, really - she was so used to flinging taunts at her opponent, having some dialogue near the start of the match, stuff like that. With this one, though, there’d be none of that. Instead, there was a silence hanging over the ring, with the murmur of the crowd sweeping over them. She could only read Lea’s mood by the smile on her face, and it could’ve meant so many things. Was she excited for the match? Was she trying to take the title? Did she just want to make a name for herself? Was she just some psycho looking for her next meal?

Eerie. Very eerie.

The bell rung quickly enough, though, and things started off on a fairly slow pace. She expected Lea to rush in, try to take her off guard, but no - she kept her distance, circling along with the Slamazon, even as she picked up the pace a bit. She was willing to bet she was the faster one between them, but how much faster? There was one way to figure that out for sure.

Valley broke out of the circle and came at Lea with her arms raised, looking like she was going for a collar and elbow tie up. A stupid move...or it would’ve been, if she’d been sincere. Instead, she twisted her hips at the last moment and threw out a low shin kick to Lea’s thigh, a quick hit before she tried to jump back out of range.

Truth be told, even for all her rage and moments of pure violence, Lea was rarely one to start off the match. She preferred her prey coming to her, so that she could latch those powerful hands onto them before near literally tearing them apart, not before allowing them to realise their error by trying to take the blonde down first.

Such a scenario was occurring now, where Lea sought to find the measure of the woman before her first before 'going to work.' That was the plan, anyway.

Leaning in, Lea's thick arms stretched out as she seemed fully keen on making the older woman regret testing her strength, before finding a ruse in it's place. Grasping at air, Lea could but stumble as she found herself victim to hit and run. Eyes shooting down, Lea's face would morph as if simply couldn't comprehend what had just happened. The kick seemed more of a test, or at most an effort to antagonise the rookie, but Lea still couldn't help but wince.

Hands coming back up, Lea would adjust her posture as to bring that struck leg back, advancing with the other leading, stance resembling that of someone attempting just to outright throttle their opponent!

Lea wasn’t the biggest opponent Valley ever faced - that honor probably went to Chris Morgan. But she was big. Bigger than her. Probably rivaling Alicia when it came to overall muscles, that was for sure, with tree-trunk arms that looked like they could break her in two. Arms that were attached to hands which looked like they were about to choke Valley to death.

”Whoa-” Wide-eyed, concerned, Valley backpeddled as Lea advanced, leading her to the ropes, just one step ahead of those deadly fingers. ”Whoawhoawhoa-”

At the last second, Valley fell back, got one leg in front of Lea’s shin and the other behind, then twisted to the side, trying to trip the bigger woman up with drop toehold and make her fall right into the ropes.

Lea's death stare was almost as deadly as the arms attached to her; the simple element of intimidation made all the more greater given the one approaching was not only devoid of words, but seemingly all emotion save for anger. Lea wasn't the sort to smile that her foe was backpedalling away from her. If anything, Valley was simply pissing her off more by denying her an easy target.

Confidence too great for her own good, the blonde was completely certain Valley's back would hit the ropes before anything else could come of it. Underestimating her seasoned opponents ring awareness however, Lea found herself tripped up as if she was but a schoolchild, arms catching the ropes as her head almost pinged off them. She saved herself from a minor case of whiplash, but there was still damage to be done.

The audience couldn't resist roaring in laughter at what appeared to be a rookie far too cocky for her own good, one who was now eating canvas against fan favourite Valley Doll.

Lea didn't appreciate that.

Not even a little.

Hands coming to the rope above her, she'd slowly begin to pull herself standing. With her back to Valley, the Slamazon wouldn't be able to see the sheer anger building on the woman's face, the shade of red near bordering purple. Not that such mattered, as Lea's rise was of a pace easy to capitalise on, a fact made all the more appealing given Lea had her back to the champion.

The crowd may have been laughing at it, but Valley couldn’t share in the revelry. That had been a gamble, really, with so many ways it could’ve blown up in her face and costed her early. She’d gambled on being able to upset Lea’s base, gambled on the ropes being where she’d thought they would be, and gambled on Lea being unable to stop herself from hitting them. As it turned out, the last gamble didn’t pay off, but the other two worked well enough to make up for it. She had her opening.

She wouldn’t waste it, either. She was back on her feet and running a moment later, taking off like a living bullet towards the other side of the ring. She bounced and came running back towards her foe even harder, picking up more and more momentum with every step, looking like she was going to attack Lea from the back.

Not exactly.

Instead, Valley jumped through the top and middle rope beside Lea, as the hulkette was still rising to her feet. She grabbed the ropes with both hands before she could go flying out of the ring, then used the ropes to swing her legs around and hit Lea in the chest with a tiger feint kick.

Once Lea's mind was set on something, it was near impossible to shift. She'd been certain Valley was going to hit the ropes when she approached her. She was certain Valley was going to hit her vulnerable back. And perhaps most notably, was certain she was going to make the Slamazon pay.

Once more finding a 'reward' for her overconfidence, the surprising athletic manoeuvre from Valley hit Lea right on the mark she intended. Great chest mushrooming as those boots made their home in her chest for half a second, Lea found herself once more thrown off her feet. Surprise as great as the pain in her bosom, Lea would fall flat on her ass after flying a small distance from where she stood, landing in a situp posture with eyes for a moment bewildered.

Once more, the crowd tore the rookie a new one.

Laughter filling the aisles that not only was the newer girl tripped up with great ease, but now literally dropped on her ass with a clueless look to match, Lea honestly couldn't comprehend what was happening. She'd been handled against her will of course in prior matches, but so dominantly? In such humiliating fashion? And so early on?

Certainly a new sensation.

Whilst the strike damn well hurt the powerhouses bosom, Lea found herself rolling onto her front of entirely her own will, face in the canvas. She simply couldn't comprehend what was occurring; her facial expression having shifted from her usual manic gaze to a incomprehensible look. Simply put, rather than be willing to accept her scenario, she chose to believe she was in some sort of dream.

One she apparently sought to break from as her fists began to bang increasingly louder against the ring floor, anger once more becoming the dominant emotion.

Valley couldn’t help but wince after her boots collided with Lea’s fulsome chest. It was a harsh, solid impact, and she could well remember what that sort of thing felt like back when she still had a large chest, before the surgery. It probably didn’t help that her breasts were wide open, too - at least Valley had covered them up, as much as you could with a leotard. She just had hers all open. Was practically begging to be chopped.

She made a note to take advantage of that later. For now, she’d managed to knock the musclebound maiden away with the tiger feint kick, putting her right where she wanted her. Now all she had to do was wait for the right moment.

From the apron, Valley grabbed the top rope with both hands and leaned back, pulling it just a bit, holding her breath in preparation. It seemed like the match was getting to her opponent, as she had a small temper tantrum in the middle of the ring. Couldn’t blame her, this crowd wasn’t exactly being kind, but Valley knew too well that you had to push that crap out of your mind. It was only two years ago that they’d been laughing at her.

But now, no one was laughing. And she was about to show Lea why that was.

As soon as her foe started to rise, Valley went into action. She pulled up on the rope, leaped up, and placed her feet on top of it, balancing perfectly for one, perilous moment. From there she bounced off and flew towards Lea with her legs wide open, looking to wrap them around her head, pull back, and send her flying with a hurricanrana.

During her match with Jessica Wright, Lea had forced herself to assume a patient demeanour, knowing full well that she could reap great rewards if she simply allowed her opponents to think they had her. It appeared that the blonde was once more assuming that strategy; waiting dead centre in the ring, energy still maintained in buckets, the momentum of the match about to shift in her favour.

Only, with Jessica, she had forced herself still through calm. Now, she was literally frozen with rage.

She could only see the bottom of Valley's legs from the outside apron given her head was in the canvas, and she was more than aware of the fact the moment those legs began to move, Lea needed to as well.

Hearing the faint sound of the ropes being stress-tested somewhat, Lea would rise as Valley soared through the air. Rise, remarkably fast that is.

Given she couldn't actually see what posture her foe had adopted, or even how far along the air she was, what happened next was pure guess work; the blonde releasing a berserker like scream, twisting her upper body a near full 180 with arm outstretched, apparently seeking to smash Valley right out of the skies with a monstrous lariat!
