Special Rules Match: Navi Florges (debut) vs Katherine Hart

Kat knew her way around the ring. She'd wrestled for many years before coming to AFW and could manage feats like locking in debilitating holds or pulling off elaborate slams just moments into matches. And she'd acquaint Navi with that ability firsthand as she cranked her opponent's neck and added pressure to the hold. After going at it for a few seconds, the Super Kitty would be somewhat interrupted by an elbow strike to her midsection!

Kat would grit her teeth through that elbow and and straighten her legs, thus reinforcing her scissor hold on her opponent's arm and attempting to keep her in place while she continued wrenching the new AFW wrestler's neck! After maintaining the hold for another moment, Navi would summon her strength and begin to lift them both!

Kat would maintain the hold for as long as she could in response, trying to do whatever damage she could in the hopes that Navi couldn't quite pull off this physically demanding reversal!

"Ohhhh, you're stronger than you look, Misses....huh I don't even know your name..." Kat thought aloud as the match progressed.

Navi tried to stand up from her position, hoping Kat would release the hold. However, as she was getting to her feet, the hold began to hurt a lot more as Kat continued to crank on her neck in that position.

Navi fell back on her stomach from both pain and not having enough strength to lift both her and Kat off from that position. Crossface was still locked in. She would definitely need to avoid long-term damage to her neck during the match.

With that, she began dragging her and Kat towards the nearest bottom rope. As she grasped the rope, referee shouted at Kat for a rope break.

Kat would continue to smile as she worked the hold. The crowd seemed to make noise in anticipation as Navi slowly began to power her way out of the hold and work her way to her feet! Unfortunately for her opponent, Kat kept that Crossface locked in, tight. The seasoned, purple-clad wrestler knew that earning a submission victory against this opponent wouldn't be a simple one-and-done task, but with an intimate knowledge of submission holds and a well toned-well trained body, Kat was able to inflict enough damage to give herself an advantage going into the rest of the match! Or so she thought.

Despite having put Navi in the hold for a fair amount of time, and forcing her to expend energy making it to her feet only to fall right back down to her stomach, Miss Florges would still summon the strength to, slowly but surely, pull both herself and Kat towards the ropes! Upon reaching the ropes, Kat would release the hold and get up, just as the ref began to yelled at her.

"I gotta give you credit, you sure have heart!" Kat would compliment her opponent as she made her way to her feet. The referee would motion Kat to stay back so that she could check on Navi and ensure that she was ok to continue.

As Kat broke the Crossface on Navi, a loud announcement came over the arena

"Navi Florges now has 2 rope breaks remaining"

Shit, she thought. If that wasn't an indication that the start was bad for her, she didn't know what is.

Rubbing her neck to check if was alright, the pain from the hold began to slowly die down. As ref approached her she told him she was fine to continue.

"I've got a lot more than that, though. Although you heard it already, but it's Navi,", she answered to both of masked wrestler's comments.

As she stood up, Navi got into a fighting position, showing that she was ready to continue the match.

"Well, I haven't heard it from you~" Kat responded whilst winking and beckoning her opponent by motioning with her hand to tell her to come. Kat wanted their next exchange to occur in the center of the ring. She quickly adapted to the rule set and figured that if she could apply another hold, she could force another rope break and deplete the finite supply of them.

"Come..." She put her arms up in a fighting stance and readied herself to grapple with Navi, if she chose to approach her.

Navi smirked at Kat's comment, and slowly approached her for another collar-and-elbow.

This time, however, Navi was determined to take the initiative, and transition into a front facelock before Kat could do anything.

Then, she would grab masked wrestler's purple ring attire, and attempt to lift her up to a vertical position. If successful, Navi will be a bit cocky and leave Kat hanging for 5-10 seconds, before dropping her down for a vertical suplex.

Kat remained in the center of the ring. She wanted to ensure that the positioning was good for the next move. And sure enough it was - just not for her next move! Kat would lock up with her opponent and soon find herself quickly put into a Facelock! She attempted to think of a reversal, but was given no time time to. Navi would soon lift the cat-theme wrestler into a textbook Vertical Suplex!

"Ahhhh!" Kat yelped as she was held upside down for a few seconds before being slammed back-first into the mat! She would roll to the ropes after the impact and attempt to lift herself to her feet by pulling on them.

"So you weren't kidding....you've definitely got more than just heart. Kat said before collecting herself. If Navi hadn't attempted a follow up after a few seconds, Kat would dash towards her foe and attempt a Clothesline!

Smirking once again at her opponent's comment, Navi stood up. Her opponent was still fresh and managed to stand up quite quickly by using the ropes.

Hoping to send Kat to the outside, Navi ran at the masked fighter with a clotheline. However, she had a similar idea, and Navi couldn't stop her momentum as her head collided with Kat's forearm, but hoped that her own forearm would do the same.

Kat would notice her opponent charge at her at the same time she did. She hadn't had a good feel for what Navi was fully capable of in the ring, or what her preferred style was like. She didn't know what to expect from her opponent but she refused to back down, regardless. The cat themed wrestler would dash at Navi and trade forearms with her, resulting in a mutual Clothesline!

"Uagh!" Kat cried out as she fell to the mat! The force of the her opponent's strike took her down! She immediately opened her eyes upon landing and looked for her opponent to see if her Clothesline had comparable results for Navi.

Navi hit the ground with a grunt due to the impact from the clothesline.

Thankfully, she did manage to bring her opponent down with her. But even in this postion, Navi didn't know what to expect from her opponent, not knowing quite enough about her style.

She would roll away from Kat, and try to get to her feet from there, hopefully, without the purple-clad wrestler pursuing her.
