Tempest Tournament Finals: Gabbie Desjardini Vs. Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt

The nigh constant targeting of her abdomen by the infuriating Dojo lackey was visibly starting to take it's toll on the heiress. Gwen flinched and cradled her stomach after having become uncomfortably familiar with what body part Gabbie had apparently chosen to target herself in this match.

Overhearing Gabbie's continued glowing admiration for that contemptible wench, Gwen gnashed her teeth and made a beeline for the ropes behind her. The heiress bouncing off of them for added velocity as she sprinted towards were Gabbie was kneeling outside, intending to clock the Dojo lackey in her head with a dashing baseball slide kick under the bottom ropes the second she stands back up again.

Gabbie had known the dangers of leaving the ring was that the one on the inside still had somewhat of an advantage. With Gabbie slightly hobbled, she threw her arm over the apron and used it to push herself up, testing her targeted ankle and wincing when she applied pressure.

She hissed and watched Gwendolyn charging towards her. The crowd appreciated the heiress' attempt to build steam and show off her tight and bountiful form in full motion. Gabbie, however, didn't like it so much at all and as the heiress dove, Gabbie jumped backwards out of the way and yelped when she planted her targeted foot.

"Ahhh!"

She stumbled forward but didn't drop to the mats, instead she reached for Gwendolyn's boots and grabbed hold. She used them for support as well as to try and yank Gwendolyn the rest of the way out of the ring very unceremoniously.

Gabbie's incessant praise of Cassie had lit a fiery torch in Gwen's eyes as she bounced off the ropes in a more daredevil style than she was accustomed to, her golden curls fluttering behind her before she committed to the sliding kick that ended with her boots dangling off the edge. Gwendolyn only just then noticing her kick had whiffed completely before she felt a sharp tugging of her boots, the heiress yelping sharply in wide eyed shock before abruptly flopping onto the thinly padded mats outside!

"YAH!!" Gwen propped herself on her elbows after inelegantly tumbling into the embarrassing pratfall. She grit her teeth from the stinging pain coursing through her perky chest and cringing face from taking the brunt of the impact from the plunge. The unmistakable sound of flesh smacking onto the practically concrete surface made even the Dojo faithful audience cry out in brief sympathy before resuming their applause for Gabbie's resurgence. Eventually Gwen would lethargically shuffle herself back to a kneeling position by seating her rump on her ankles, one of her hands massaging her grumbling face during the ascension.

Half of her was contemplating the myriad of ways she could repay Gabbie for this, while the other half was fussing over whether her heavenly visage had been scuffed, scratched, or inexorably besmirched in some way...

Gabbie watched the haughty blonde aristocrat smack against the floor with a satisfying smack. However, she wasn't going to rest on her laurels. While Gwendolyn began to sit up, Gabbie was taking a few steps so she could plant her feet, testing the foot that Gwendolyn had worked over.

Once Gwendolyn was on her knee, Gabbie lashed out her foot to try and crack the heiress across the face with a hard kick.

Dedicating perhaps too much time into making doubly sure her immaculate veneer maintained it's artistic beauty, Gwen was only just about to ascend off her knee before the impactful thud of Gabbie's foot slammed into the heiress' partially shielded face. The momentum knocking the stunned aristocrat back into a tumbling roll before she attempted to shuffle and hastily crawl on her hands and knees to the barricades behind her.

"donzelle Méprisable..." Gwen grumbled as she attempted to slowly drag her way back to her feet by climbing up the barricade with her back to Gabbie, still in a groggy daze from the lingering head pains.

"Fermez la bouche." Gabbie growled back in French.

She walked over to where Gwendolyn was and grabbed her by the shoulder and the tights by her hip to hold her in place and swung her knee up into Gwendolyn's gut to keep her dazed and keep the pressure on the blonde's belly.

Gabbie was hoping to end things quickly now that she had the heiress dazed and once she hit with the follow up knee, was looking drag Gwendolyn back over to the apron and roll her into the ring.

Gwen only faintly recognized Gabbie's obnoxious reply in her second language as she crawled up the barricade back to her feet, passingly intrigued as to Gabbie's knowledge of it but far too stunned to ponder for long. Gwen cringed from the grotesque feeling of scattered fans patting her shoulders before Gabbie plowed her knee into the heiress' crumbling abs.

"Hugh!!" The power behind Gabbie's knee strike towards her methodically targeted midsection made Gwen lurch over herself in grimacing pain. The heiress clenching her eyes tight and was clearly winded from the impact before being unceremoniously heaved back inside the ring, pressing her cheek against the canvas while she cradled her stomach in groaning discomfort. The crowd cheering for the Dojo rookie's showing, and how her expertise as a striker was clearly overwhelming the much maligned and pompous aristocrat.

Gabbie slipped inside the ring after she shoved Gwendolyn back in and crawled over to the blonde heiress. Gabbie slowly stood up and reached for Gwendolyn's arm and looped it around her own neck, using it to Pull Gwendolyn into a standing position where she shrugged off Gwendolyn's arm and wrapped her own around the heiress' neck, pulling their bodies close as Gabbie put her cheek against Gwendolyn's. Gabbie's forearms pressed into Gwendolyn's shoulders, completing the Muay Thai clinch.

<I just want fair competition.> Gabbie said in French, deciding to speak like that just to see if Gwendolyn actually spoke it. If she had juts been faking it like everything else, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Gabbie rammed her knee into Gwendolyn's gut as hard as she could. <I don't think that's too much to ask.> One more time. <And I don't think that people should be driven from the league because people like you can't fight fair!>

Third time's a charm.

Gwen meekly groaned from being unwillingly hauled back to her feet by the diminutive striker before being cinched into Gabbie's lockup. Gwen ineffectually tugged her head backwards once she felt the blonde's hands intertwine behind the crown of her head, the heiress dreading the worse before those fears were realized.

"HUGH!!...HAGH!!...GAAH!!" Gwen heaved out the air in her lungs once the first knee hit her solar plexus, leaning heavier into Gabbie due to her inability to free herself from the grappling stance. Each precision strike tenderizing her bruised abdomen while Gwen's hands fiercely clasped onto Gabbie's bicep and shoulder to brace herself for the throbbing and debilitating pain to come each time. Throngs of fans further rallying behind Gabbie and her dominant control over the detested former Entropy Champion.

Gabbie's testimonial was uttered directly into Gwen's ear from the closeness of their cheeks in the lockup, the heiress scrunching her face as the words echoed in her thoughts. One recurring word in Gabbie's speech caught Gwen's attention, the winded aristocrat propping herself against the Dojo rookie but still on her wavering legs before speaking up after a few seconds of haggard breathing.

< Life's...not...fair...> Gwen snarled out into Gabbie's ear before clasping the back of Gabbie's head. Gwen ducked down to situate Gabbie's jaw directly atop the heiress' cranium and hopped up before dropping to her knees in the impromptu jawbreaker!!

Gabbie was feeling good as each knee sank into Gwendolyn's belly. Once she completely drained the heiress of her stamina, she was certain she could finish the match for good. Gwendolyn's words riled up the Canadian even more. She had a response to that, but she found herself unable to speak with Gwendolyn's head underneath her chin. She didn't realize the reason for it until she felt herself drop forward.

She only had an instant to recognize what it meant before she received the tooth rattling jawbreaker. With her knees bent, she sprung backwards when the move hit and was flung backwards, hitting the canvas with a thud.

"Guuunnnnn..."

Gabbie rolled onto her stomach, holding her aching jaw.
