Adrian Kytes vs Mystery Opponent number 456 (Tai)

Adrian raised her fist in victory as Grizzly was sent stumbling forward into the ropes, now all the hardcore champion had to do was jump back up to her feet, turn around aaaand get hit with what was probably the stiffest clothesline in her entire career right in the jaw. The brunette did a standing shooting star corkscrew press just from how hard she got hit by Grizzly, and that was before the extra bounce after she hit the mat, it was a miracle that she still had a head attached, let alone remaining conscious. "uugghhhhhh..." she groaned, trying to get used to her new life of everything being pain.

Grizzly panted as she stopped on the other side of the ring, turning and looking at the fallen Adrian with a wild grin, laughing aloud and letting out a loud roar as a replay of the clothesline was shown on the main screen, showing the Hardcore Champs body flipping around and flopping on the mat.

Going up to Adrian's body, the former Angel dropped to her knees and covered Adrian's body, hooking her leg up for a pinfall attempt.

"That's why I was a former champ youngblood!"

She yelled, as the referee started the count, hand slapping the mat.

"ONE!"

The referee managed to get to the count of "Two!" before Adrian forced her shoulder up, still somewhat woozy from taking such a massive blow to the head so early on. "I'm... I'm okay..." She panted, trying to roll away and back onto her hands on knees, unsure if she was trying to convince the ref to keep the match going or herself.

"You're not dead? Good! I was worried I'd have to call it an early night!"


Grizzly yelled, after Adrian kicked out of her pin attempt. Spunky girl. Grizzly wasn't sure what to make of her at first, but she was the Hardcore Champ, that had to be for a reason, and she kicked out of Grizzly Paw Lariat, which, while not as devastating as her piledriver, had beaten a few Angels here and there.

"You know, maybe I misjudged you!"

Grizzly bellowed, grabbing the crawling Adrian by her outfit and sending her towards the turnbuckle with an irish whip. Raising a fist up to the crowd, Grizzly followed soon after, charging toward the corner with the intent of smashing her body against Kytes with a big body splash!

"Yeah yeah... that's good... keep doing that thing..." Adrian mumbled as Grizzly picked her up off her feet and sent her careening into the corner with a forceful whip, the former cosplayer almost bouncing straight back out as her back smashed into the turnbuckles, and to make matters worse, she was now cornered and staring down a charging bear. Not a good turn of events.

Gripping hold of the top rope, Adrian kicked her feet up and slipped inbetween the top and middle ropes, leaving her standing on the apron and leaving Yamamoto with nothing to splash but the corner pads.

It was funny how fast things could change. One moment, Grizzly was on a headlong charge towards Adrian, about to squash her body in the corner for massive damage.

A moment later, Grizzly smashed into an empty corner, going wide eyed and gasping for air, bouncing off the turnbuckle and stumbling backwards before falling onto her butt, arms rubbing at her sore chest as she tried to get back the wind that had been knocked out of her!

The crowd winced as Grizzly collided with the turnbuckle, the impact shaking the ring and almost shaking Adrian off the edge as she clutched the top rope for dear life. An audible 'ooooh' as the Joshi vet stumbled and fell backwards, clutching her chest in pain. All the more time for Adrian to find her footing once again on the ring apron and plan her next assault.

It was a bit awkward, having Yamamoto be sitting down like that, if she was still standing it'd be much easier to get at her through the ropes, and if she was down on her back the Hardcore Champion could have flipped over the ropes for a tope senton, but with her sitting down she'd have to waste time getting back in the ring instead of linking directly from her dodge. Still, there was one potential option she could take.

Pulling back on the middle rope as much as she could, she used it to spring herself through the ropes instead of just going over, going low enough for what would have been a slingshot spear if Grizzly was standing, but instead was more of a lunging clothesline to the seated veteran.

Grizzly stayed on her butt, breathing heavily. She had hit the turnbuckle harder than even she had expected, a bruise no doubt forming on her chest, the former world champ wheezing as she tried to catch her breath. She couldn't help but be little worried. Big people needed their breath after all, and the bigger a person was, the harder it was to get that air back.


To make things worse, Adrian was on the offense again, Grizzly only seeing a brief orange flash before her arm smashed into her chest, laying the angel out flat!

Adrian's landing was not particularly graceful, but it got the job done and gave Grizzly a little taste of her own medicine. See how she liked being clotheslined for once. Even if the big woman wouldn't be flipping in the air off of Adrian's attack it still looked like it hurt.

Rolling back on to all fours, the Hardcore Champion started to put her hastilly put together game plan into action and mounted the Joshi vet before moving to grab her arm and twist it hard at the wrist and the elbow, wrapping her own arms around it for a painful arm lock.

"Ughh....the fuck are yo-FUCK!"


Grizzly yelled, the smaller bitch continuing to be a bitch by wrapping her arm up in some undefined arm lock, twisting and pulling at the joints and muscles, sending various jolts of pain through her arm, taking full advantage of the woman's apparently inability to get up to her feet at the moment.

She grit her teeth, trying to fight the pain in her chest, the shortness of her breath and the new armlock, knowing every second she stayed in this hold was one that did further and further lasting damage to her arm.
