Adrian Kytes vs Mystery Opponent number 456 (Tai)

"Yeowch!" Adrian let out as Grizzly fired back, a big bulky arm swinging into the Hardcore Champion's side, forcing her away from the time being. Still, that one shot had brought the big woman down to one knee, something that used to take Wrestle Angels about 5 minutes of match time to do Adrian had managed it in about 5 seconds.

Maybe she had an old injury that the former cosplayer had unintentionally targeted or maybe it was just her age and size catching up to her. Either way it was a good thing to know, and getting Yamamoto lower gave Adrian the confidence to jump back in the fray, and try and snare Grizzly up in a side headlock before she could get back to her feet.

"Grr...You're a quick one, aren't you!?"

Grizzly growled appropriately, having Adrian hanging onto her head, pressing the bigger womans head against her side with a headlock.

Unable to stop the woman from getting to her feet, though she was bent over, Grizzly reached around and grabbed Adrian around her midsection before trying to stand up all the way, trying to turn Adrian's headlock against her with a back suplex!

Adrian tightened her grip around Grizzly's head as the veteran... complimented her? Backhand complimented her? Whatever, the important thing was that she was in control, trying to wear down the big woman as best she could only to find out the hard way that she had inadvertently put herself right where she didn't want to be.

The arms wrapping around her midsection was the first warning sign that things were about to go horribly wrong for the Hardcore champ, but there was nothing like the sensation of her feet leaving the floor to get it through that the next few moments were going to be very painful. Tucking her head in and shuffling up, Adrian managed to maneuver herself so she landed on her back rather than her shoulders and neck, she was still left writhing in pain from the impact. Not the best of starts for Adrian.

Freed from the headlock, Grizzly rolled over and got back to her feet, smirking down at Adrian and backing up a couple steps to gain space.

With space gained, Grizzly tried to follow up, letting out a yell as she tried to jump down and drop her elbow down onto Adrian's chest!

Adrian groaned on the mat as Grizzly stood up, taking as much time as she wanted to rest. Unfortunately for the Hardcore Champion, Ms Yamamoto was not interested in just letting her lie down in peace. 190 pounds of Joshi Legend came crashing down on Adrian's chest with a painful "UMPH!" from the former cosplayer, her legs kicking up out of reflex.

Connecting with the elbow, Grizzly rolled over and got back to her feet, giving the downed Adrian a look before looking up at the crowd, hearing their surprising cheers.

"You like that!? How about one more!?"


She yelled, running towards and bouncing off of the ropes, jumping again near Adrian's body to drop another elbow drop onto her chest!

"No more for me I'm driving..." Adrian groaned out as Grizzly Yamamoto took off for the ropes with a large yell, probably trying to add injury to... injury. Either way, Adrian really didn't want to be stuck in the same spot right now but she had to time her escape perfectly. Turning her head to face the Joshi vet, she waited until the heavyweight had already committed to the jump before rolling away from her, hoping that Grizzly was going to hit nothing but mat.

Grizzly didn't see Adrian move, already in mid jump, sticking her elbow out and ready to hear Adrian's cry as she landed on her...

"AGH!"


Grizzly herself ended up yelling out in pain, the point of her elbow landing hard onto the mat, forcing a groan out of the bigger woman as she rolled back and forth, cradling her stinging elbow, lucky she hadn't, as far as she knew, chipped or fractured anything.

Adrian breathed a sigh of relief as Grizzly cried out in pain, that was one elbow that the mat could take for team instead of her. Still, she wasn't getting much done by lying down on the ground, this was time for action! Pulling herself off the mat a few steps away from the big woman writhing in pain, enough distance to jump up slightly and kick her legs out on the way down, trying to smack the Joshi vet with a dropkick in the back.

Grizzly had only just made it back up to her feet, still unsteady when Adrian's dropkick smacked right into her back, causing the bigger woman to stumble forward, close enough to the ropes to lean on them, shaking her head and shaking her arm up to clear up the pain in her elbow.

Turning back towards Adrian, Grizzly let out a loud growl and charged towards the younger woman, swinging her arm out to try and clothesline her!
