Strategy: Fitting a woman of her stature and title, Saori fights straightforwardly and relentlessly, looking to overwhelm her foes.  Packing quite a punch, she usually focuses on heavy striking attacks early on to wear down her targets before using bigger moves like throws and slams to finish them off.  A bit on the clumsy side, Saori does not have much luck when it comes to submission holds.

Personality:
Hot-blooded would by far be the best way to describe Saori, when it be in combar or in social situations.  Actually very friendly, she likes to bond with others through intense activities, such as heavy drinking, competing in games, or, most commonly, fighting.  Rowdy, and with quite a booming voice, she naturally draws attention to herself and can be the life of a party.

A lot of that, however, is just on the outside, as Saori possesses quite a maiden's heart, and worries alot about her femininity and appeal as a woman.  She acts that way both due to the way she grew up, something fitting a woman of her image, her own natural temperament, and also in part to maintaining her stage persona.  Even though the way she acts can be considered counterproductive, Saori still dreams of settling down and starting a proper family.  She'll absolutely never admit it, but she is intensely envious of her parents, who both created such a fine household, despite their hot-blooed and simplistic personalities, and hopes to be able to emulate them.


Past/History:
Born to a father in the SDF and a policewoman mother, one would have expected Saori to have grown up in a strict household, although in reality it was probably the exact opposite.  Quite rowdy and hot-blooded themselves, her parents basically would pass those traits onto their daughter quite successfully.  Quite the tomboy as a result, young Saori often got in trouble or occasional neighborhood scuffles, though rather than punish her, her parents often laughed it off, practically encouraging that behavior even further.

It was possibly because of such an upbringing that Saori's growth spurt changed her into quite the impressive figure, already dwarfing her somewhat small parents by the time she was in high school.  Despite the fact she fit the poster look and attitude of a typical delinquent, Saori was still performed quite well in her studies, possibly out of desire to become like her parents.  Even right after graduating high school she aimed to follow in one of their career paths, had they both not forced her to seriously look into other options first, stressing she become her own individual.

Of course, after having lived with such a single-minded goal, it was pretty difficult for her to come up with anything, until she just happened to catch the eye of a local talent agency.  Both big and beautiful, and even with a fitting personality, Saori filled the niche idol role they had been looking for.  Despite her initial reservations, she eventually decided to accept the job, and to her surprise found it rather enjoyable.  It was a bit embarrassing putting on a character act in front of huge audiences, but since it was basically her natural persona Saori adapted quite quickly.  Being a pretty far cry from what they were expecting, once her parents had finished laughing it off they were very supportive as well.

It wasn't long before her manager presented Saori with another very similar and very fitting career for her: pro-wresting.  Feeling a bit restless after a lot of idol work, she readily took up the offer and it was there that she really found her true niche.  Basically keeping her exact same character role, Saori's job now came with the bonus of her getting to fight other girls, satisfying her more hot-blooded side.  A small promotion made of pretty much nothing but pretty girls and part-time idols, it was hardly intense, but enjoyable nonetheless.  Spending quite a few years there, Saori of course remained at the top of the pack because of her size and athleticism, and even developed her new "Tiger" theme and persona.  Of course, she couldn't stay there forever, and they time finally came when she needed to move on.  Going over a bunch of other potential wrestling leagues with her manager, out of the blue a mysterious individual showed up at their office, recognizing Saori's talents and offering a spot for her at the AFW.  Though her manager was wary of the far more hardcore nature of that league, warning Saori only made the rowdy girl more eager to give it a try, seeing it a something that was far more fun than what she had now, not to mention the extremely lucrative contracts they would both get.

Just as with everything else she'd done in her life, Saori charged in without hesitation, eager to find a new home for "Tiger Takatsugi".


Fun Facts:
-Though she can certainly hold her liquor, there still exists a point where Saori will break down and lament her dreams and inability to find a good man.  When out drinking with her manager, she often half-jokes that they should get married, but he, a scrawny man, shoots her down and jokingly replies he's a lolicon, gay, 'married to his 2D waifu', or something of the sort.
-She adores cats, which was pretty much the whole reason she picked a tiger motif, still trying to remain faithful to her 'tough girl' image.
-Though inherently unafraid and rather supportive of 'skinship', Saori gets very flustered when things get overtly sexual, as she is quite inexperienced in that field.
