Seraphim Vs. Megumi- Crimson against Crimson(Complete)

Megumi noticed she had touched a nerve, and a raw one apparently. Sera's fists slammed unerringly into her head, dazing her, then into her neck, more than knocking the air out. Megumi had twisted her body just a little in the short amount of time she had to react, which was enough to prevent her windpipe from getting crushed or her neck from being snapped. She was amazed at the power of Sera's attack.

Megumi flopped onto her side, gasping and coughing, trying to regain her wind. "Damn, what the hell happened to this woman?" Megumi thought, "She nearly killed me there. I shouldn't have said what I did, but still... this kind of violence." Megumi began to quiver in fear. Gone was her fury, knocked out of her by the same punch that nearly broke her neck. It was replaced by cold, hollow fear, the fear one gets when faced with death.

"She can really kill me," Megumi thought.

Off with her, Seraphim had no other desire then to get her off and throw her down. And after her strike, it seemed that Megumi had no strength to even stand, falling to the side as she gasped for breath. Seraphim wasn't going to give her time to rest though, she couldn't. Not after what Megumi said, and not after what she saw.

It was her... "Rachel... I told you I didn't want it to come to this." Seraphim said with a strangely soft and regretting tone, calling Megumi by the wrong name as she slowly got to her feet, standing like she was just rolling out of bed and slowly getting on her tired legs. If Megumi had a chance to look at Seraphim, she would notice the girl's eye seemed too off to be normal. The pupil had begun to dilate, shrinking and growing in size, and Seraphim's fists eagerly loosened and tightened back and forth, evn Seraphim's posture seemed different, slightly hunched foward, her hands dangling to her side like her body from the waist up was barely being supported. "I don't know why you wanted this... things weren't supposed to be like this." Speaking to Megumi like she was this 'Rachel' person she had said, Seraphim bent down, grabbing Megumi by the arm to pull her up, seeming catatonic as her red eye looked not just at Megumi, but through her, as if Seraphim was just looking at nothing in front of her, only this 'Rachel.

"I'll help you Rachel... I'll help you get stronger." Her words trailing off, a bit more monotone and clearly not herself, Seraphim would then unleash a series of two strikes towards Megumi, trying to connect a very low blow, nearly punching her in the side of the pelvis, while the second ended up as a rising knee strike right to the crotch. "I'm helping... right?" She said in a trance like daze, a smile growing to the lips of the lost girl as she attacked.

"Rachel?" Megumi thought. She turned to look at Sera. Sera seemed punch-drunk, her body hunched over, her eye dull and unfocused. She noticed the almost schitzaphrenic movements of Sera, from the fist-tightening to the dilated pupil to the almist unnoticable twitching muscles. Megumi felt a jolt of pure terror. Had Sera really lost it? Was she at the mercy of a madman?

"Seraphim, wait," Megumi pleaded to no avail. She was dragged to her feet roughly, her shoulder almost popping, and forced to face Sera. "I'm not Rachel," Megumi said, "Snap out of it!"

A solid low punch knocked the rest of her words back into her mouth. Megumi's eyes widened from the pain, but she could not react. She didn't even have a chance to cry out before the knee connectec with her crotch, striking so hard Megumi nearly blacked out. Her vision blurred, Megumi crumpled to the ground, hands clutched tightly around her waist, gasping, retching from a sudden wave of nausea.

She could see it all so clearly now. It was happening again... that fateful evening, staring down into the eyes of her deceased friend, yanking out a knife in mid spar. "Why did you bring a knife...?" Seraphim said slowly, her movement ceasing like a dear in the headlights, her tilting down as her now entangled hair from it being grabbed so much fell over the front of her face. "Why wait...? So you can stab me while my guard is down?" She then asked, actually taking a slow step back as the illusions and memories flood through like a swift torrent. She suddenly seemed to be taking defensive, but a very sloppy one at that, her attempt to raise her fists for her boxing style and then one knee for Maui Thai beginning to stagger, making her look like she was a drunken warrior more than anything.

A few moments later though, she stopped again, hands to her sides in open palms, her back slouched, and a soft murmur then escaping her lips as she seemed to be looking at Megumi, her face completely hidden from her white locks of hair. "Did I.... break you? Rachel... get up." Her words came out soft at first, like she was afraid, a startling realization seeming to come to her, like she thought Megumi, or in this case, 'Rachel', may be more than just hurt. "...Please..." She then whimpered, fans clearly confused both by what they heard, and also witnessing her tone.

Grabbing Megumi's left arm, she pulled her up, attempting to get Megumi to her feet. "I'll take you to the hospital... come on." Her words came out sluggish, and Seraphim's grip was looser, maybe enough for the weakened Megumi to escape. If she hadn't though, Seraphim would attempt to slide Megumi back in the ring, apparently becoming her illusion of the 'hospital.'

Megumi tilted her head up to look at Sera. She was hallucinating now, reliving memories of the past and seeing illusions. Megumi tried to get up, but pain shot through her crotch and she was forced to fall back to the ground. Sera's last hit had damaged somthing inside. Megumi knelt on the ground, panting, sweat dripping down her face from both the strain of the fight and the pain in her body.

She saw Sera coming close again and whimpered. Megumi's spirit was crushed, all she had was fear inside. Megumi tried to move away, but could not move as quickly as Sera when she was on her knees. Sera grabbed Megumi's arm, pulling her to her feet. Pain shot through Megumi's body, and she nearly collapsed again. But Sera prevented her from falling, supporting her. Megumi couldn't understand what Sera was doing, or what was going on in her head.

"Who does she see me as?" Megumi thought. She got rolled back into the ring without fighting back, lying on the mat when she was returned to the ring, not trying to get up.

"Rachel... I'm so sorry for this." Seraphim was entering the ring, grabbing the ropes and pulling herself in with a sluggish yank, like the only strength inside her came from her arms and legs. She seemed much slower in her movements, her body loosened and sluggish before getting back inside the ring and to the mat before slowly approaching Megumi who was flat on the mat, broken down and completely vulnerable.

"But I... I had to, look what you did to me..." Slowly dragging her arm behind her scalp and long, white hair, Seraphim slowly ran it through her locks, before turning her palm and fingertips towards Megumi, revealing she had been bleeding, most likely from being rattled and slammed into the hard floor outside the ring before. "Just like Alison... I know you were the one who did it. She's paralyzed because of you..." Her ragged and tired tone seemed like it was hardly even her own any more. The young woman who was once fueled by wrath and hatred now spoke softer, somewhat meloncholy as she was still long gone and lost in her world of memories, the thoughts scattered and some of the memories being mixed with others, creating a catastrophic world; a nightmare in Seraphim's mind that she was reliving, only twisted and bend to the point that she had snapped.

Standing just a few feet from Megumi, Seraphim slowly knelt down, brushing Megumi's hair aside so she could look into her eyes, Seraphim's single crimson one barely visible behind her white locks. [size=85:1lcfbwmy]"But don't worry..." Seraphim whispered, at first sounding like she had a mock tone of care and compassion, but the breaking into a demonic grin. "I'll stay beside you, I'll even sing for you, but first, you need to sing first." Standing up strait, Seraphim raised her right arm, clenching her fist and readying her elbow, even taking her other hand and pressing it against her fist to add some extra force behind her elbow. Letting gravity do the rest, Seraphim went back and down elbow first, aiming to drop it into Megumi's upper chest and breasts. "Sing for me!!"

Megumi listened to Sera's crazy talk, trying to make sense of what was happening. She knew that Sera had gone through some traumatic events in her past. Had something Megumi said forced Sera to remember? Megumi opened her mouth to protest, but found that her voice had vanished. She could not speak for the fear that controlled her.

Megumi attempted to try and move away. She managed to get her left arms, then her right, moving. Her left leg moved as well. Her right leg, however, protested in pain, no doubt still recovering from the painful blow Sera dealt to it. That, combined with the dull ache in her lower stomach and crotch, prevented Megumi from moving more than a few inches before Sera was on top of her.

"Oh no," Megumi thought. She saw Sera's elbow prepared for a strike, then Sera came down, aiming directly for the center of Megumi's chest. Megumi knew that she might not survive that hit. But what could she do? She had no chance of either dodging or blocking it. It was too late now.

The elbow struck home, hitting Megumi in the chest. Pain, white hot pain, flooded Megumi's entire body. Her eyes blurred in a red haze. Megumi could hear herself screaming, right before she passed out.

The fans roared with approval as Seraphim came down on Megumi, striking right into her chest and crushing her breasts, leaving just about every part of her beaten now. When Seraphim was down though, she didn't come up either, lying with her back against the mat, right beside Megumi as she turned to look at her now unconscious opponant. Or rather, as Seraphim saw i, her 'sleeping friend.'

Seraphim said softly, almost in a whisper as her face was less than a foot away from Megumi's, looking at her as her eye still seemed to move around sporadically, pupils still not remaining normal either. The ref would begin to come over to the two, checking for a knockout, but he stopped when he realized Seraphim didn't seem to be finished, the unstable minded girl reaching out to cup Megumi's chin softly. Her hand held it very gently, no intent to harm it seemed as she lulled the knocked out girl's face to the side, the two facing one another as Seraphim parted her lips, and then-

"Go to sleep my darling, close your little eyes..."

She started to... sing? It was gentle too, once again revealing a side to Seraphim that didn't seem as harsh ad brutal as she gave off, her melodic voice as sweet as an angel's in harmony.

"Angels are above us, peeping through the skies."

Seraphim would then take the time to pick Megumi up, tucking her hands under the girl's arms from behind, carrying her a rather painless way, dragging her from her grip under the girl's shoulders, taking her to the corner of the ring.

“God is in his heaven, and he watch doth keep…”

Seraphim then left the girl against the turnbuckles, her own mind seeing it as a hospital bed as Megumi was placed in a sitting position, both arms straddled upon the lower ropes, like a ragdoll to hang there.

“Time for little children to go to sleep.”

The one-eyed girl would back up to the other side, looking like she was preparing for something, perhaps ready to run at any moment after she finished her song, letting out a soft chuckle after harmonizing the word ‘sleepâ€, and her head even lulling to one side to the other for a moment. Megumi would have a few moments to recover during the time she was dragged and placed there while Seraphim backed away, but it wouldnâ€t be much longer before Seraphim would unleash another strike if her deranged state provoked her with another twisted and distorted memory.

Megumi was completely limp in Sera's hands. A trickle of blood dripped out the corner of her mouth. She did not hear the gentle singing, nor did she really feel Sera drag her over to the corner. Her mind was shrouded in darkness, completely shut down after the excessive pain Sera's attacks had inflicted. She only woke up when Sera placed her against the turnbuckle, her arms open to the sides.

Megumi opened her eyes a sliver. Her vision was blurry, but she thought she could discern a person standing in front of her. Then the person left her field of vision. Megumi couldn't piece any of her thoughts together, and couldn't understand what was happening. All she knew was that her body felt so tired. She closed her eyes again, leaning against the turnbuckle, not moving.

"Raaaaa-cheeeeel~" Seraphim said the name with a sweet melody, many fans swearing Seraphim would then say 'come out and plaaaaay~' since she sounded just like something out of a horror movie. Seraphim remained there for a moment before finally her head straitened, and she raised her left arm like a wet noodle before flexing it into a fist, most of her body still loosened except that one arm. Fans were biting their nails as they had a feeling they knew what would happen next, the helpless Megumi left to take whatever beating Seraphim could inflict, all expecting that fist to meet a deadly painful mark.

"I can't let you go after what you did Rachel. IT WAS UNFORGIVABLE!" With her battle cry, still lost in her insane world, Seraphim begun her charge, her fist raised and aimed to batter, possibly break open Shizuka's skull with the awesome blow behind her punch. If Seraphim's normal strikes were painful enough, one could only dream how much agony and devastation she would cause at full charge.

Closing in, Seraphim's assault went strait for Megumi, throwing the punch towards her with such awesome force, the crowd even flinched as they expected to see Megumi's skull break open.

But instead, there was no sound of impact, only silence.

If Megumi would open her eyes, having never taken the strike, she would see Seraphim's fist lingering no more than an inch from her forehead, the pale, traumatized girl trembling from head to toe, her other hand covering her face as she was hunched over slightly and her fist shaking some before it was released and fell to Seraphim's side. "Oh my god..." Seraphim said with a shaky tone, looking now at her hand that nearly destroyed Megumi's face. "..What the Hell am I... doing?" Seraphim hadn't done any more to Megumi, actually beginning to back off as one hand still clutched the side of her head, confused and in shock to see she was no in the ring and ready to do some serious damage to Megumi. Last she remembered they were outside the ring.... weren't they?
