Satomi vs. Shizuka. One broken, one breaking in. (complete)

Satomi had to resist from facepalming herself, always stopping since she wore glasses, and instead just smacked her forehead. This girl was headstrong, it was no wonder she got hurt. She wasn't planning on really being serious about this andpush her body beyond what it should do, right?

Nodding slowly, not even having anything else to say to that aside from a sigh at Shizuka's arrogance to her own injuries, Satomi stepped to the ring, only to stop at the last second when she was asked about her inventions. "Ah... um, those are projects. Personal ones I'd rather not discuss. Please don't touch them." She said simply, her voice just a little monotone as it had been before when she ranted a litte, as if there was even a sense of warning about them. Satomi always seemed to do that when she ranted, or even at times, she would get too excited into her own work and she just wouldn't stop talking when it came to a discovery. But that was neither here nor there, and Satomi casually slid into the ring. Once there, she decided not to remove her lab coat since it was just a spar, and stepped over to the girl, not taking a stance just yet as Satomi had still not yet let it sink in that this was her first time really in the ring, thus nt being so nervous yet.

"My name is Satomi, Satomi Hakase. But if you'd like you can always call me Professor." Sticking out her bare hand that just barely could be seen past her coat, she offered a friendly handshake, cracking a smile just slightly, feeling a little better that she wasn't stepping into the ring for real just yet. "What's yours?" It felt wierd getting into the ring with someone who was nearly a stranger, and not only did this feel odd, but Satomi still worried about the girl's injuries. Fortunately Satomi's style wouldn't harm that area much, but it was still another thing to keep in her vast mind to remember.

Yui's curiosity was awakened by Satomi's 'projects'. She slowly started to take short steps towards the pile of gadgets,just wanting to take a look at one of them. However,when she was just about to reach for it,she thought that Satomi was going to turn back. And if that was to happen,she may be in really big problems. She took a few steps back and then turned to watch the match.

"Oh,my name is Shizuka! Nice to meet you,Professor!" Shizuka cheerfully introduced herself,with a sweet tone of voice as she held her arm in front of her and grabbed Satomi's hand,shaking it in a friendly handshake.

"Let's have a good match!"

Normally, Satomi was quite shy to meeting new people. The way she saw it, the less people who got involved with her life, the better. Science came before friendship, everything aside from her studies and projects was just secondary. However, this girl, Shizuka as she called herself, she seemed like a nice girl, certainly someone sweet and not the type who seemed like she would do anything to sinister to another person. Satomi had a good feeling about her, at least, when it came to her personality. She may have been kind, but she was a little too headstrong, which might explain her injury in the first place.

After shaking hands, Satomi glanced back for a second, nervously biting the edge of her lip over leaving her 'equipment' out in the open like that. Since she had yet to get a locker here... it was troublesome indeed. But for now, she needed to focus. There was no way she could fight without a clear head.

Taking a few steps back to her portion of the ring, about five paces from the center, Satomi took up a fighting stance, one that was unique for sure. Her left foot out a bit further than the other, and her left arm up and strait foward with a closed palm, it seemed like a defensive position similiar to Hapkido, only there were subtle differences. Not to mention Satomi's eyes dimmed just a little, the olive green hue somewhat darkened like she had become possessed, and she was blocking out all other distractions.

'Determining strance... style... height... weight... muscle mass...' Her mind racing with rough calculations, trying to assess what she could from the girl, Satomi could feel herself enter her state of concentration, just like she needed for her style to work.

"Begin when you wish."

Shizuka didnt even bother in taking an offensive stance. Yui decided that she will be the one acting as the ref,as there is no official ref around. She eyed at both girls,standing there in the ring,and after 3 or 4 seconds,she announced the beggining of the match.

"Now! Start!"

Shizuka didnt lose her time and rushed towards the scientist with a confident look in her eyes. She held her arm out to the side and attempt to connect a powerful clothesline to her opponent's bigger chest. It made her feel kinda jealous because everyone seemed to have bigger breasts than her.

So this was it then, maybe not her first official match, but still her first encounter since she had gotten here. It was a releif though to know it was a spar, and someone she could treat with some respect, but she didn't let this go to her head. Satomi may have been a scientist, but there were few who realized how science can be used on the 'battlefield.'

'Speed and distance... Velocity determined!' The girl was fast, Satomi would give her that, but she wasn't the type to let herself get hit, especially by something this early. Her eyes not even widened at all in fear or surprise, a rather cold gaze behind those glasses, Satomi used her hand that was already extended, needing to exert very little effort into blocking since she already had her hand out, and followed up with using both hands to support now, catching the arm into her palms. The blow was still powerful though, and Satomi had been forced back a few steps, but she still took the attack with a defensive expertise.

Attempting to grip down with one hand in Shizuka's arm, close to the wrist, Satomi used her other to attempt a sideways chopping strike underneath that same arm she caught. Satomi wasn't the type to make her own attacks, rather, she had just been prying an opening after Shizuka's charge. However, if the girl had speed like this, Satomi's mind and body would have to be in top focus to keep up.

Shizuka was pretty amazed. The scientist managed to catch and even avoid getting hit by her clothesline! But bigger was her surprise when Satomi hit her right in the arm,more precisely in a nerve. The younger-looking girl started to pull her arm,trying to make her opponent let it go so she could step back and focus on calming the pain.

"Aw! Aw! My arm!"

The moment Satomi felt a tug, she had released. The scientist didn't prefer keeping a grapple, that wasn't her style. When she did release though, she briefly shook her reddened palms, feeling a slight stinging sensation on them, but it was just something superficial she managed to shrug off.
"That was your Radial Nerve." Satomi said flatly, her once clumsly and softhearted tone seeming to vanish underneath her new visiage in the ring. For a moment, she even looked at Shizuka at an angle that made the light reflect off her glasses in a way that hid her eyes, making it just a little unsettling, especially with what she said next. "Had I gone lower towards your Obturator Nerve, you might not be standing." Cold... like a surgeon without anesthesia, Satomi seemed like she was really taking this seriously. However, fortunately for Shizuka, she took a few paces back, resuming her stance again, strictly in a defensive manner as she awaited another attack, never perfmorning one of her own unless provoked.

Shizuka gulped heavily when she heard Satomi talking about the obturator nerve. The younger girl didnt know a thing about it,but if Satomi said that she wouldnt be standing if she would have hit that nerve,it's better to be afraid. She took a few steps back,and then,after gathering enough courage to face the cold scientist again,she would go for another clothesline..But not like before. If her opponent seems to be prepared to receive the blow,she would suddenly change her tactic and slide beneath Satomi's legs,trying to end up behind of the scientist.

'The velocity is... identical. A poor tactic.' Satomi had watched the girl with a dull gaze, her eyes still hidden behind the glare off her glasses as she was ready to place her arms in a similiar position and attempt another counter. She dismissed this routine in that Shizuka was just attempting basic attacks, and working from the ground up. Satomi's theory though had been proven wrong though when the girl changed her tactic, surprisingly the young scientist just a bit.

Shizuka had been successful in getting behind Satomi. After all, her style left her legs far apart to improve her ability in moving to a defensive position and covor all her angles, but few would ever expect an opponant to actually go under like that. Not saying a word, her expression only changing to a slightly quirked brow, Satomi tried to stay defensive, not wanting to leave her back open. With her back to the girl, she would have no trouble moving foward, and hoping she could turn around against, Satomi dashed foward a few steps before she could get into her stance again, getting a small distance between her and Shizuka, hoping she could move away before Shizuka would get an attack in.

Shizuka was pretty confident that she got Satomi there. The purple haired girl didnt waste any second and leapt off the ground,hoping to land upon her opponent.

And then,all of a sudden,her opponent moved. Shizuka's eyes widened for a second,and then her descent was stopped by the mat. She hit her face and front on the canvas,not really strong,but strong enough to make her hurt. She rolled over and over onto her back and front,again and again. For the moment,she wasnt able to stand up,and that left her completely open for an attack.
