Kyo Akamatsu Vs. Kara Vela

Even from the ring Kara could hear the collected gasps as the crowd reacts to her trying to drive Kyo through the mat. Even Vita and Rian can be seen wincing at the impact.

“Shit, I guess she’s taking this seriously,” is all Vita says while Rian looks a little worried.

As for Kara she never liked having to resort to brutal moves like that, but in a fight his hard she can’t afford to pull her punches. Or at least that’s what she tells herself as she takes a moment to catch her breath, and considers what to do next.

After a few seconds she figures out what to do. She knows a good hit when she lands one, and she won’t have many more chances to keep Kyo down. With a grunt of effort she rolls Kyo onto his back and crawls over Kyo’s downed form to lay over his chest, pining each arm with her legs and arms. She simply nods to the referee who checks Kyo’s shoulder before starting the count.

“Just stay down,” Kara whispers just loud enough for Kyo to hear. And the referee begins her count.

“One”

Toshio and Makie both rose from their seats as they saw their brother get ploughed into the mat. "KYO!" Makie shouted, resisting the urge to leap over the fence, kick Kara in the face and bail her brother out. Kyo knew what he was doing, she told herself, and he had taken bad hits before, but...watching from the stands as he got beat up, and feeling the tremor of the impact, was a horribly useless feeling.

"Kyo! Get up!" Toshio shouted. Kyo didn't seem to hear him, though, as Kara covered him for the pin. He remained motionless underneath the American girl as the referee started the countdown...

Vita jumped as her neighbors stood up, and half expected to have to stop them from jumping into the fight. She couldn’t blame them, seeing the beating Kara’s opponent had taken she would have been rooting for him if she wasn’t already rooting for her girl.
 
As Kara kept Kyo down she had braced herself expecting him to buck underneath her, writhe or try to slip away. But he kept still, but she couldn’t worry about him just yet. First win the match then everything can be sorted out, or so she thought. But she still instinctively relaxes her guard as the referee continues her count.

“Two”

The crowd was getting rowdy now as Kyo was pressed down in a cross-body pin, remaining motionless all the while. For a moment, it seemed as though the Samurai of AFW had had it, that Kara's surprise comeback had been too much for him to handle. For a brief moment, it looked like the underdog in this fight had actually come out on top.

Abruptly, however, Kyo's legs suddenly kicked out, his body jerking under Kara and arching just enough to get a shoulder up and break the pinfall. Kyo Akamatsu wasn't done yet, it seemed.

Kara faintly notices that the audience growing louder as Kyo lays still beneath her cross-body pin. She could almost feel the disappointment in some parts of the crowd. A big upset victory with the Samurai of AFW beaten by a newbie. A small part of Kara felt a little sad for him, even as she was getting ready to celebrate her victory. And for the brief moment before the referee made the last count it seemed like she had won.
 
The thought immediately leaves her mind when Kyo kicks out from underneath her, arching his body just enough to raise his shoulder and break the pin, stopping the ref stops a moment short of counting Kyo out. Kara curses under her breath as her victory slips away. But she can’t afford to let up now, so she stands over Kyo and reaches down to pull him up by his arm.
 
“Stay down this time,” she says just loud enough for Kyo to hear as she pulls him up.
 
She will try to driver her knee into Kyo’s stomach and if he curls up she will try to force his head under her arm and drop back in an improvised DDT.

"YEAAAAH KYO!" Makie shouted as her brother kicked out, practically leaping from her seat as she saw that Kyo was still in the fight. The audience was getting rowdy now as they saw the newcomer's potential upset victory dashed away: thus far, Kara had been doing a lot to win the hearts and minds of the crowd.

The crowd, however, was the last thing on Kyo's mind as he breathed hard, rolling onto his side. He hadn't taken a slam like that since his brutal match against Rebecca Tomoko, and even he hadn't guessed that Kara had that much power behind her. Groaning, he tried to roll, but Kara wasn't letting him off that easy. As he was dragged to his feet, he took a knee to his abs that doubled him over. "URMH!" he grunted, before his head was clamped under Kara's arm and pressed against the side of her chest.

Then, everything went upside down before he was DDT's hard to the mat, the impact causing him to jerk before sprawling still on the mat. "Uhhhh..."

Kara’s knee finds its target and drives straight into Kyo’s abs. Without missing a beat she forces his head under her arm and drives him into the mat again.

‘He couldn’t get up from a hit like that,’ she reasons to herself. ‘Then again he shouldn’t have been able to get up from that last hit either’

She takes a moment to catch her breath, before rolling Kyo onto his back. She looks around and sees he’s set up right in front of a corner buckle. She isn’t much of a high flyer, but she can’t deny that it would be a great way to end the match once and for all. She runs towards the corner post and climbs up with the grace of someone who clearly doesn’t do this often. If allowed to pull it off, she will leap through the air and try to land on Kyo in a body splash.

Upon seeing her brother laid out flat on his back, Makie leaned forward in her seat. "Kyo! Come on, get up!" Her eyes widened as she saw Kara climbing the turnbuckle, and realized at that moment just how much trouble her brother was in. "KYO! YOU'VE GOT TO GET UP!" she almost screamed.

Toshio was soon adding his voice to her own. "YOU GOTTA GET UP BRO!" he shouted. "YOU'VE GOTTA MOVE!"

All of this shouting was lost on Kyo, who could hear nothing except the dull ringing in his head. He groaned, his head tilting woozily from side to side as he tried to focus past the ringing. Both his head and upper back were in pain after that DDT: he had to hand it to Kara, she knew how to use power moves well enough.

His glistening chest rose and fell, and he opened one eye just in time to see Kara standing atop the corner post, uneasily bracing herself against it. Alarm bells rang in Kyo's head: as Kara sprang forward and leapt at him, her fit body momentarily giving an impression of airborne grace, Kyo would try to force himself to move, to roll away and hopefully avoid the body splash...

Kara felt a little unsure of herself as she got to the top ropes, but that hesitation subsides as she sees Kyo laid out bellow her. She hasn’t done moves like this in a long time, but she could see how Vita loved to try daredevil stunts like this.

She took a moment to steady herself, and more jumped from the turnbuckle than leapt from it. But she surprised herself with the grace she managed to put into such a simple move, or maybe that was just the adrenaline talking.

As she fell she heard someone yell, vaguely as the air started to blow by her face. Her eyes darted to the ringside where she saw Vita for a brief moment, pointing towards the ring. She had enough time to look back down and see Kyo rolling out of the way and leaving a very empty and hard landing spot behind.

With a crash she lands on the mat, her body smashed against unyielding canvas instead of a soft person, and her tits smooshed against her chest. She rolls over to her side, nursing her aching breasts which got the worst of her crash-landing and screaming what started as a curse but got stretched to one long "FUUU-!". It takes her a moment to remember that Kyo is still in the fight, and pushes past the pain, trying to get to her knees and eventually her feet before Kyo does.

Kyo's body ached as he rolled, feeling his sore shoulders and ribs burn in protest as he threw himself sideways. It was worth the effort, though-- he heard Kara shout a sudden and loud expletive, once which was cut short by a tremendous crash. He felt the impact reverberate through the mat next to him, and he knew at once that Kara's big splash had missed. No doubt that had to hurt...which meant Kyo now had time to recover.

Flopping onto his front, Kyo breathed hard and began to push himself upright, sweat dripping from his hair. It was a slow process, given the number of times Kara had ragdolled him into the mat, but that couldn't be helped. As he breathed through clenched teeth, he saw Kara fighting to get up as well, looking no better than him. She managed to roll up to her knees just at around the same time he did, and if her eyes met his, then he would hold her gaze as he stared her down.

"You're good," he managed to rasp. He had no idea if Kara would hear it from this distance. As he finally got up to his feet, he restrained himself and circled rather than rushing in. Although he knew he shouldn't be holding back against Kara, he wanted them to be able to resume their fight on an equal footing.
