SS 15 Rewind! Panther Risako Vs. Chris Morgan: Wrestle Angel Battle!

Despite the screams of the crowd, Risako wasn't moving as she lay spread-eagled on the mat, her hair forming a violet corona around her seemingly unconscious face. The most diehard of her fans began chanting "RI-SA-KO!" and thumping their seats in unison, but it still did nothing to get a reaction out of the Queen of Queens, even as Chris knelt against her and wrapped her up neatly for the pin.

The tension was thick. Was this it? Had the Phenomenon from Heaven finally bested the Queen of Queens?

"Two!" the ref girl's hand hit the mat for a second time.

The crowd wasn't the only one caught up in the tension of the moment. Chris's heart was pounding in her chest. Retribution and vindication was just one count away!

The fans continued to rally and cheer Risako, despite the fact that Poseidon's Hammer had landed, and to them, looked like it had almost turned the Panther inside out!

Risako made no reaction as the countdown reached two. She remained motionless on the mat, halfway folded up by Chris as the bigger girl kept her wrapped up for the pin. For the briefest moment, even Risako's staunchest fans realized that this might be it-- that Risako had been beaten, knocked out cold by Chris' brutal forearm blow.

Their faith was quickly rewarded, however. With a sudden gasp of air, Risako arched her upper body upward, twisting sharply to get a shoulder up. A dazed and pained expression was on the Asian's sweat-streaked face, but she was still in this fight, and that fact caused her fans to erupt into cheers.

Chris began to feel a sense of relief, and completion. Finally at long last, triumph. But, that feeling as short lived.

Risako threw her body to one side, getting a shoulder off the mat! Chris sat up, her eyes open wide in surprise and disbelief. The crowd was cheering in relief and exhilaration, their combined voices seeming like it would shake the roof from the building. The blonde pounded the mat once in frustration as she angrily looked at the dazed Risako. With a growl, Chris got back to her feet.

Fine. If you want to take some more pain, I've got just the thing for you, Risako... she thought as she looked down at the Queen of Queens for a moment.

Reaching down, the Californian pulled Risako back up to her feet, holding her by a handful of hair and looking her in the eyes.
"Ever since our days in Wrestle Angels, you've always held yourself above me. Well, allow me to do that for you...!" she declared loudly.

With that, the blonde would try to hoist the Panther onto her shoulders, facing up towards the ceiling, looking to apply an excruciating torture rack to the Japanese wrestler's tender back!

Risako hungrily sucked in air, her head still throbbing from the concussive force of Chris' blow. Everything around her seemed like one dazed blur, dully vibrating in tempo with the drumbeat of her skull, and the most she could do was kick her legs numbly against the mat as she tried to get some energy flowing back into her body. She had almost forgotten about that nasty clothesline of Chris', and clearly she had spent a good amount of time perfecting it.

At that moment, her scalp burned as her hair was yanked, and she gave a sharp gasp as she was suddenly pulled shakily up to her feet. She managed to open her eyes fully...just before the powerful American hoisted her up onto her shoulders and pushed down on her chin and knee in a back-breaker.

Risako's eyes widened as agony spiked down her back. "AAAAAH!" she shrieked, her limbs flailing uselessly as she was curved down against Chris' broad shoulders. After all of the punishment Risako's back had been enduring this match, Chris' move felt like it was now bending her like a wishbone. She closed her eyes, fighting off tears of pain, even as she heard her fans screaming in the background.

Chris felt a slight bit of...something as she hoisted Risako up onto her shoulders and the Japanese woman gave a shriek of agony. Regret maybe? Sorrow that things had gotten this bad between them? Whatever it was though, it was slight compared to the feeling of satisfaction as the blonde's strategy fell into place. After spending a good part of this match working at Risako's back, Chris was finally able to use a hold that tore away at the Asian's wounded muscles.

"It's over Risako!" Chris yelled out to make herself heard over the crowd as they yelled and screamed in the Panther's favor. "You know how strong I've gotten! Give up, or I swear I'll break you in half!"

Risako's breathing became ragged as her spine felt like it was on the verge of snapping. Her slender body was arched further as Chris torqued the hold further, her purple hair draped like a cloak across Chris' shoulder as she was stretched in this dominant hold. Risako looked for all the world like some trophy draped triumphantly over Chris' shoulders...and the thought irked her. As painful as this was, however, she knew exactly how to escape from it.

She cut her scream of pain short with a clenching of her teeth. "Ifff....you...think...this'll...put me down..." she managed to hiss at the American, "...thenn....you've...learned...nothing."

In an instant, Risako's elbow shot out, slamming against Chris' exposed skull. If this managed to stun Chris and weaken her grip, then Risako would suddenly push her upper body forwards, aiming to pull her chin free from Chris' grip. From there, she would throw herself forwards and twist in midair, grabbing at Chris' wrist and snapping her legs around her arm to take her down in a flying armbar!

Chris narrowed her eyes as she heard Risako's words. Some people should know when they were beaten, and the Californian was about to mention that to the Panther. But before she could, Risako's elbow crashed into the tip of her head! It was a hard, sharp blow that caught Chris by surprise, sending her reeling.

Her foe capitalized quickly, her legs snapping around one of Chris's arms, while the other limb found itself in a punishing armbar! The sudden reversal brought the crowd back to life with a loud cheer of the Queen of Queens as now the American let out an agonized shriek as she sunk to one knee in the center of the ring, Risako still on her shoulders, but now, Chris was the one in teouble!

Risako was breathing hard now, sweat running down her forehead as she sat perched on Chris' shoulders, pulling back hard on her arm and hyperextending her shoulder painfully. It had been close-- a few more seconds, and Chris might have done some serious harm to her, not that Risako would ever have tapped. But now the tables hard turned, and it was her turn to make the American suffer.

She shifted her weight suddenly, hoping to flip Chris onto her back. If she managed that, then she would cross her legs across Chris' arm and tighten the armbar, closing her eyes as she poured all of her strength into the hold. "Give up, Chris!" she shouted. "Give up before I tear your damn arm out!"

The Panther's weight shifted, throwing off the Californian's center of balance. Chris was toppled over, onto her back, where Risako could really get the control and leverage she needed to lay in with her armbar.

Chris prided herself on having civilized behavior and speech, no matter what the situation. It was a rare thing to hear the blonde raise her voice. So when she drummed her heels against the mat in agony and let out pained yell of "Ahhhh, shit!" it was a sign of how desperate things had gotten for the fallen Angel.

She could feel tendons and ligaments in her left arm being savaged and torn, and the agony was extreme. But Chris would never yield to Risako. Not now, not ever. Although, the American wasn't willing to wait and test that resolve by having the Panther break her arm. Grimly, screaming in pain, Chris kicked her heels into the mat, using them to turn her feet towards one of the sides of the ring. Agony coursed up through her arm the whole way as the crowd roared against her. But Chris drew resolve from the noise, strength to defy them. Her foot fell onto the ropes after she got close enough to use her tall frame to stretch a leg towards them!
