SS 15 Rewind! Panther Risako Vs. Chris Morgan: Wrestle Angel Battle!

Risako's eyes became passive and unfeeling as Chris thrashed underneath her. As was to be expected, the American stubbornly refused to give. As was to be expected, she was able to resist the submission hold through sheer tenacity. As angry as Risako was, she took no joy in the knowledge that to win, she would have to utterly destroy Chris and her ability to fight back.

Ignoring the dull throbbbing in her back, she gave Chris' arm a sharp tug to give her a nice jolt of pain, before sliding her fur-stockinged legs around the trapped limb in a graceful, fluid motion. Leaning across Chris' back, Risako slide her arms across Chris' chin and forehead and wrench back, adding an STF to the American's woes. Her teeth would clench as she pulled back on her head, eager to repay Chris' assault on her back with some painful tension in her own upper spine.

Now Risako seemed determined to show off some of her in ring acumen, converting her hold into an STF while keeping Chris trapped on the mat. The crowd howled and cheered, as a lot of fans remembered that the American's first submission loss came from the same hold, applied by Minami Toshimi, the Wrestle Angel's Venus of Submissions. The image of that moment was famous, and it was being replicated here tonight, only with Risako taking the place of Minami.

The Californian gave a loud shriek of pain as the Panther pulled back on her head, using it as leverage of bend her spine and neck in ways it wasn't meant to. Still crying out in pain, Chris dug in with her free leg and pushed, while her arms pulled, the American struggling to make her way towards the ropes to break the hold. The crowd stomped and yelled, demanding her surrender, but instead of crushing her resolve, the noise gave her a curious strength, urging her to defy them, and Risako.

The ref asked her again if she wanted to give up.
"When hell freezes..." she snarled in reply as she clawed her way onward, pain radiating through the American's back.....

Risako clenched her teeth as she felt Chris squirm and twist underneath her, steadily dragging them both towards the ropes. Risako wasn't a deadly submission master like Toshimi Minami was, but she was still well-rounded enough to apply a submission and make it hurt, as Chris was finding out right now. Despite this, and despite the hollering of the crowd, the American pulled on, screaming even as she did so.

She lowered her lips towards her ex-lover's ear. "Hell," she whispered harshly, "is being in the same ring as me, Chris. Or have you forgotten that?"

She wouldn't wait for Chris to take them into the ropes. Instead, she would pull hard on Chris' chin, trying to rotate her body onto her side, before using the angle to try to grab at Chris' knee. If she managed this, then she would unhook her legs from around Chris' own arm and press a knee into her back as she tried to bend her in a bow and arrow hold, hopefully immobilizing her in the process.

Chris wasn't feeling particularly witty enough to reply to Risako's comment. In fact she was certain the only thing she would do with her mouth right now would probably give a pained howl, but the American didn't really feel like giving Risako, or the crowd for that matter the satisfaction of hearing that.

However, it seemed like the Queen of Queens intended to keep Chris trapped in hold after hold. Risako pulled at the American's chin, trying to shift her position so she could transition into another hold. Chris really didn't want to find out which one. So when the Panther began to move her sideways, the American went with it, rolling her body in the direction Risako was moving her.

Chris would attempt to use that roll to get herself close enough to the edge of the ring to stretch out and get her hand on the bottom rope, looking to cause the ref to call for separation....

Risako was taken by surprise...slightly...when Chris suddenly shifted her weight as she was transitioning the hold, rolling the two of them towards the ropes. Before she could stop her American opponent, the ref girl was tapping her on the shoulder, telling her to break. Wordlessly, Risako complied, sliding back up to her feet. Hopefully, this had worn Chris out for a bit...and if not, Risako still had plenty of other tricks at her disposal.

"Get up," she growled at Chris, grabbing a hold of the American by her hair. Before the ref girl could even call her on it, though, Risako yanked Chris up and pushed her back against the turnbuckle. For a moment they were face to face, their eyes meeting...before Risako raised her arm and delivered a hard forearm chop to Chris' chest, one that caused the crowd to all gasp in sympathy. Another one would follow shortly thereafter as Risako punished her opponent in the corner.

Unless Chris stopped her, Risako would then follow up by grabbing her opponent by the arm and swinging her towards the ropes...anticipating Chris countering as she bounced back, and already planning to elegantly arch back under any clothesline attempt and spin behind Chris, aiming to nail her in the skull with a hard spin kick...

The blonde Wrestle Angel had barely a moment's of respite until Risako was on her again, seizing her by her long locks and forcing her into a corner. The Panther's violet eyes met Chris's sky blue for a brief second, before she began to attack.

The first chop caused Chris to rock back against the turnbuckles as the crowd let out a loud "Woooo!" A trend that had only been going on since at least the 90's, as if she needed a wrestling history lesson. The second made the American give a loud yell of pain, a hand going to her chest to try and soothe it with a brief rubbing motion.

Hurting and off balance, Chris was taken out of the corner and then whipped towards the ropes on the far side of the ring. Waiting until the last moment on her way back, Chris swung out with a sudden clothesline, but Risako was more than familiar with the American's moves. The Asian in a display of flexibility and agility, swayed into a backwards arch, letting Chris's clothesline go over her.

Stopping, Chris turned only to be greeted by the Queen of Queen's boots, catching a spinning kick on the side of the head! The impact was loud, making the crowd go "ooohh!" as the blonde toppled backwards, lying face up on the mat!

The crowd went wild as Risako gave another demonstration of her skill and flexibility as a wrester, almost nonchalantly arching under Chris' angry clothesine before spinning around and nailing the American with a boot to the skull. There was a tremendous crash as Chris toppled to the mat as though poleaxed, dazed from that brutal hit. After some initial difficulty against Chris, Risako was in top form now, and showing just why she was the Queen of Queens. She had the stamina for crippling submission holds, and the agility and skill to counter her opponent's blows. Now she was going to remind Chris that she had power of her own as well.

Stepping over to the downed American and glaring at her coldly, Risako reached down and grabbed her former lover by the head, wrenching briefly at her long blonde hair. Ignoring the ref girl's scolding, Risako would drag Chris back up to her feet, hoping that that last kick to her temple would keep her nice and stunned. From there, she would slide in behind her, wrapping her arms just below her opponent's generous bosom, and arch back, aiming to nail Chris with a hard back body drop!

If all went according to plan, then she would keep her arms wrapped around Chris in a tight hug as she arched back, keeping her opponent's lower back and shoulders pressed to the mat in a pinfall...

Hissing in pain and protest as Risako used her hair to haul her back to her feet, Chris was still trying to recover from the hard hitting kick to her head.

She became aware of the Japanese woman's arms around her waist just before she was lifted off of her feet. Risako arched backwards, dropping Chris on the back of her head and shoulders. She then held the bridge position, keeping her pinned.

The referee quickly moved into position, yelling "One!" as she slapped the mat, counting the pin....

Risako heard the countdown begin, and held her breath, her cheek brushing against Chris' white-clad back as she kept hugging her. Her slender body remained arched in a graceful curve as she held Chris' shoulders down against the mat, hoping to keep the American down just long enough.

"TWO..." the ref girl counted.

The crowd was jubilant as the count continued. The Queen of Queens had triumphed over Chris before, and was ready to do it again.

*Is this it?* Chris wondered. *The experience, the training, and yet....is this how it ends? Beaten by her, again?*
Then she remembered the anger she felt after being defeated by Risako. Betrayed by her mentor and lover in a surprise challenge for the title that the blonde held at the time. And on top of that, coming back to her small apartment only to find that Risako had packed up her belongings and left her. Rage filled her now, as it did then.

As the ref's hand plummeted down to make the final count, Chris's body gave a sudden, strong lurch to the side, getting her shoulder off the ground and breaking the count just before the referee could reach three!

*No, Risako.* the furious thought raced through her mind. *Not after all this time! I didn't come all this way to be beaten by you again!*
