Ryan and Lucy vs Daisuke and Lita. (For Maxy.)

Ryan and Lucy slammed Lita down hard into the mat, the ring giving a resounding noise. Granted it was Mr Knight that did the heavy lifting in the United Kingdom Elite, but Lucy pitched in too. And that only improved upon the effect of the suplex, memories of when they first performed that move in the indie circuit wafted back into the minds of Britain's best.

After doing the move Lucy hopped over her Brother while he was down on his back, she knew that her body was going to need some rest. Lita had slammed her about quite well as much as Ms Grange didn't want to believe it. But now that the paragon of Britain was back in the ring, things were going to perhaps get back in the favour of the adoptive siblings.

Speaking of which Ryan was now in the ring, Lucy taking up the apron outside. Mr Knight was in a semi crouched position, sizing up Lita for another attack. After casting a couple of wary glances at Daisuke in case she tried anything, the paragon of Britain would to get Lita into a vertical position from behind. And attempt to get her waist with his right arm, and her left arm over his neck to try and set up a reverse atomic drop. That could send her back to the corner of Daisuke, but Mr Knight was going to do it anyway as it might send a message.

When Lita took the atomic drop she did move back in the direction that Daisuke was in. Daisuke saw her coming close to her and she reached in to try to get a tag in. While she did feel Lita could bounce back from this she did want to get back in there.

Mr Knight grinned as he slammed Lita down with that atomic drop, memories of when he performed that move against Mariko Ishii in the tag finals entered his mind. And it had the exact same effect, Ryan had to admit that Lita kinda weighed more than she looked. Must be the muscle maybe, speaking of which the paragon of Britain looked at his own just to check on them. He worked hard to get them upper limbs, it added to the imposing image of whenever Ryan donned his formal suits.

It was a double whammy effect here, not only did Ryan inflict damage on Lita. But at the same time it tossed her into the corner of Daisuke, who as Mr Knight predicted wasted no time in getting back into the ring. And that was fine with the paragon of Britain, Lita was going to be out for a bit anyway with the suplex that Ryan and Lucy just did on her. Well hey, at least she took it better than John did during his training!

When Daisuke entered Ryan cracked a grin, thumbing his nose at her and saying "Well here we go again, now the grownups will be playing." Lucy merely rolled her eyes at her adoptive Brother's comment. The paragon of Britain however was pacing from side to side, edging towards Daisuke before suddenly trying to swoop in and grab hold of her nearest leg. Although Mr Knight could be open for a counterattack if his blonde opponent was fast enough on the draw.

It seemed that Lita, Sion, Lina, and Daisuke didn't like comment that Ryan made. "I guess that's one way to put it." Daisuke replied as she rubbed her nose with her middle finger, not liking Ryan's choice of words, thinking it was directed at Lita. While she wasn't sure if he was being serious or was joking she took offense to it as lately Lita has done so much for the group with things in-ring related, as well as their out of ring issues she was the more adult one here out of everyone she thought.

Still, she was wasn't here to ponder that as she moved closer to him as he was doing to her. She did it cautiously and jumped up when she saw him moving in for one of her legs, looking to leapfrog over him and go for his legs on the way down, wanting to trip him up and go for a kneebar if she could pull off the timing.

Ryan was meaning his little gesture as a joke, being with Lucy of course did mean that the paragon of Britain had learned to toss in the odd snark. But truth be told he didn't really know Lita outside the ring, and to be frank he didn't really care what his opponents thought of him right now. After all they had the gall to question the legitimacy of how Ryan and John obtained the Tension Tag Titles, so it was fair game in Mr Knight's mind.

The paragon of Britain was hoping to have made himself a harder target in his approach against Daisuke, but it worked against him this time. As Ryan's opponent had wasted no time in trying to cinch in him into a kneebar attempt, Mr Knight was no stranger to leg based submissions. One of his trademark finishers was a leg slicer that he had dubbed the Knightmare, a move that could inflict huge pressure on a person's fulcrum.

So needless to say Ryan understood how serious his situation was right now, Mr Knight would wince loudly as he felt the large amount of pain surging into his lower limb. This prompted the British aristocrat to resort to his very considerable upper body strength to move his body and inch closer to the bottom rope as best he could, and as fast as he could. It was going to hurt, but Ryan wasn't going to buckle from this if he could help it.

Lina looked a little bit surprised with the end result of Daisuke's movement but it was something she liked. While not necessarily here, Lina has heard of that move taking down even the biggest of fighters and it was one of those moves that could come when you least expect it. Meanwhile Daisuke had a feeling Ryan wasn't too far from where the ropes were, but she held on any to do what she could to do him, maybe get lucky and end it there.

Mr Knight often was stoic in the ring, rarely if ever displaying major emotions. Aside from some jovial banter or displaying respect to her opponent, Ryan liked to believe he was iron like. But still Daisuke had gotten the paragon of Britain good here, much as he'd like to deny it.

As much as Ryan didn't want to display the signs of pain the swelled feelings escaped, Mr Knight's face contorted into a hard wince. Britain's Knight let out some groans of pain, the longer this kneebar was applied the worse off Ryan's leg would be. Which in turn would lower the chance of victory for the adoptive siblings, and that was something the paragon of Britain refused to happen.

Ryan was a savvy individual when it came to the ring however, a knack that he had learned through years of chess playing. The game of kings had taught Ryan to adapt a strategy on the fly, and he carried this over to the squared circle. Using his impressive upper body strength Ryan had moved towards the nearest bottom rope as quick as he could, once there Mr Knight would cling to the bottom rope. Rook saves Knight. Although the paragon of Britain knew that just because he managed to cause the rope break didn't mean he was out the woods yet, but he'd move to try and kick Daisuke back as she got up with his free leg and then try to use the ropes to himself up while he had the chance.

Daisuke saw him grab on to the bottom rope, but she held on for an extra second until she heard the referee call for the break, which she would let go without any issue. Despite that Daisuke felt that what just took place could be a difference maker, feeling it might be wise to continue working that part of the body over.

Even though Ryan got a kick in to move her back, Daisuke would reply in kind with some kicks of her own and stop where she had him in the hold just a moment ago, wanting to bring him down to size somewhat.

Lina encouraged Daisuke to stay on him as Daisuke was doing just that before Lina could even say a word.

Mr Knight knew that Daisuke smelled blood, if the roles were reversed then Ryan would have been right on it also. The ring was at times a jungle, and the wrestlers were predators trying to eat the other. Brutal analogy yes, but during the time on the indie circuit Ryan had sort of developed that viewpoint. Things were cutthroat, and him and Lucy had been tossed in there and told to survive.

Well they did after enough matches, so what if Daisuke had gotten one over on Ryan. The paragon of Britain knew that few could outlast him in terms of endurance, he had developed it as part of his moniker. His win/loss record was proof of that, but still Mr Knight would give Daisuke her due and that she got him there. Begrudging of course.

Ryan knew that he needed to fight back here, he winced when Daisuke struck him with those kicks. Mr Knight used the ropes to get as much leverage as he could, before moving forward to attack. His plan was simple, charge right at Daisuke with a clothesline. Aside from endurance Ryan's other main thing was his strength, he was the powerhouse of the United Kingdom Elite. If was able to bowl Daisuke over then he might be able to salvage something from this, Lucy watched quietly from the apron biting her lower lip in concern.

Daisuke kept on him as he pulled himself upright. Even though he went for a clothesline there was hardly much room between them for him to move maybe more than a few feet before the clothesline was thrown since she was still within striking distance. It connected anyway but Daisuke didn't have trouble getting back up as it felt like more than a simple knockdown then her being bowled over if he had more running room.


As she went to get back up she would swing an arm out to get Ryan to back away if he was still in close, but if he was some distance away and had another running attack in mind she would have something up her sleeve.
