Ryan and Lucy vs Daisuke and Lita. (For Maxy.)

Lucy expected Lita to kick out that pin attempt, if that had actually worked Ms Grange might have just laughed her head off there. Might make a nice GIF she supposed, if there were cosplayers of Ryan and John out there then a GIF seemed tame in comparison. Hell it seemed tame to Japan in general.

Mr Knight stayed stoic, and silent too as he surveyed the battle so far. Casting the brief glance to Daisuke to make sure she wasn't trying anything, not since the Takeuchi siblings had Ryan teamed up with his Sister. They used to back in the days when they went around the indie circuit, often in street clothes. It helped figure out what worked best and what didn't with their styles in the ring, John didn't have that though. But he was a quick and adaptable learner, something that the master of creation took from being an artist.

Ms Grange quickly hopped back to her feet, thumbing her nose ala Bruce Lee. She believed that her point had been made, now Lucy was intent on getting back to the task of battling Lita. But the offer of a test your strength? It made Ms Grange raise her left eyebrow, she had done this before of course when sparring against her Brother. She usually lost given the height and power differences, but it taught Ms Grange how to at least hold it.

Cracking a smirk Lucy offered her arms for the lockup, gingerly taking Lita's hands for it. Once they took the strain Ms Grange would ground herself as best she could, digging in her legs to try and make sure she stayed put. The British girl bit her lower lip slightly as she got herself ready to see what Lita had to offer!

Lita knew what she was doing and went at it with Lucy as the others looked on. Putting legit effort in it as Lita wanted to show her dominance, not wanting Lucy to one up her. While it was not her intent to do this going into the hold something popped to her head as she went at it with Lucy. After some time of the two ladies struggling for control Lita would bring her knee up, aiming for the lower part of Lucy's chest. If that connected she would then grab hold of Lucy, lifting her up and putting her on one of her shoulders, setting up for a running powerslam. That would sure be one way for her to show Lucy and everyone else what she can do.

Lucy was doing something unknown to her, well not fully unknown. But it was done in spars and not in a proper match, and so Ms Grange hadn't fully gotten to grips with it. Her Brother had done so sure, but that was only because he was the main powerhouse of the United Kingdom Elite.

So needless to say Ms Grange was going to pay the price for it, she was putting in effort of course. But was only focusing on doing that, to try and show she wasn't some little British girl. That she was strong in her upper body as well, so Lucy wasn't prepared when Lita suddenly brought her knee up. Hitting the British girl in her navel, which only helped in taking the wind out of her sails.

Ms Grange winced, and knew that she was open for attack. And was paying the price, as Lita got her prepped into a running powerslam. Lucy had been placed in this situation before when sparring against Britain's paragon, who was standing on the apron with an icy glare. The British girl braced herself for impact as best she could, a loud grunt of pain was heard escaping from her lips as the pain went into her. Perhaps Britain's baby girl shouldn't have gone for that lockup, and just dropkicked Lita in the chest. As right now Lucy was reeling and open for punishment as she tried to nurse her back.

After connecting with a powerslam Lita shot back up and let out a mighty roar. She was getting fired up now and she knew she had to make things really count now. Lita went to pick Lucy up off the mat and lifted her up again. This time though she would lift Lucy above her head, pressing her a couple of times as if she was nothing more than a weight bar one would find at the gym before simply dropping her to the ground, letting her fall face first. Lina was liking what she was seeing, as was Daisuke and Sion as well. Daisuke was ready to get back in there, but she could tell Lita was just getting started so she let Lita continue.

Sion took another quick glance over to see what John was up to.

John was watching the match now, keeping his gaze focused on the two people in the ring right now. When the running powerslam occurred he knew that was going to stop whatever Lucy had in mind in the bud, he shook his head slightly in dismay. After all Lucy's gameplan was constant offense, and going from that usually meant she'd be stopped dead in her tracks. Still he knew that Lucy was tougher than she looked, she'd weathered through worse.

At least the artist would like to think so, in the ring though Lucy was wishing she was dishing out the attacks. The power of Lita was something Ms Grange had underestimated, and Ms Grange was now paying the price. Her back was saying that it needed to rest, or at the very least try and do a turnaround.

The British girl was trying to focus on numbing the pain, to make it lesser. Even as Lita picked her up over her shoulders, treating her like a weight bar that her Brother would press. Speaking of which Britain's paragon had a look on his face so grave, that it could kill if looks were able to. Rampant thoughts of twisting and turning Lita and Daisuke inside out were wafting into his mind.

When Lucy got dropped down onto her face she couldn't help but let out a little yelp, on instinct Ms Grange checked her nose for blood. Thankfully there wasn't any, yet and hopefully not. But still that little thing could cost Ms Grange valuable time, seeing as how Lita was still fresh. But whatever she had in mind she better do it quick and simple, else it would grant Ms Grange more of a reprieve.

After Lucy made contact with the mat Lita turned back to her and lifted her up just as Lucy was checking for blood. Lita would then grab hold of her from behind and look to execute an overhead belly to back suplex, wanting to launch the girl over her head and back down again.

When Sion checked he saw John don't nothing out of the ordinary this time, which was good so he didn't keep an eye on him for longer than a couple of seconds before looking back towards the ring.

John was leaning against the door at the head of the limo, his arms folded as he watched with a slightly bit lower lip. Part of him had really wanted to be in the match, to prove that he wasn't just some toady to Ryan. And hopefully win and prove people wrong, but he abided by the judgement of Mr Knight. He wasn't just his boss the guy was his best pal too.

Lucy meanwhile was feeling a bit like a chump right now, and she really hated that feeling. It was something that could be common here in Tension, given how Ms Grange's male opponents were taller than she was. But that only made Lucy want to rise above that, and Lita was taking the pace of the fight more and more into her team's hands.

Britain's baby girl knew what she had to do, get back to her corner and tag Ryan in. The paragon of Britain was still fresh, and no doubt eager to slam both their opponents into the mat. But Lucy's slight distraction proved fatal for her, as she tried to get back up Lita got her from behind. For a belly to back suplex, it wasn't a move too often used against Lucy. Her Brother was more of a German suplex man himself, the elevation wasn't enough for Ms Grange to try and flip back onto her feet. And Lucy was slammed right onto her back once again, the pain coming in now even worse than before.

Ms Grange could only groan and then try to roll onto her belly, using one hand to slam the mat in frustration. That was it she swore, Lucy reckoned it might be time for a comeback. Or at the very least something to take the momentum away from her opponent. The British girl waited and bided her time for whatever came her way next.

Lita then lifted Lucy back to her feet, but wouldn't give Lucy time to enjoy the return of her vertical base as she fired in some kicks to Lucy's midsection before trapping her in close, looking for a t-bone suplex. Daisuke grinned as she saw Lita using Lucy for target practice before her follow up. Lita.

Lucy was hoping that she had gotten at her peak in the ring, at least what she thought it was. But it seemed that wasn't the case, she hadn't had a match since that Avalanche debacle against Gail in the land of the Swiss. And training still didn't compare to actually doing it in the ring, and Ms Grange was paying that price it seemed.

Mr Knight saw the grin that Daisuke had and gave her the iciest glare possible, seriously if Ryan already didn't look iron enough he sure as shit did. But something was troubling him inwardly, it wasn't like Lucy to get slammed around like that. One single mistake had resulted in her looking like a mere jobber, Ms Grange was tough sure. But she couldn't take as much punishment as Britain's paragon could, it might only be a matter of time. A loss was something Ryan refused to accept, he swore inwardly it wouldn't come to that.

Lucy was getting back up to her feet, and Lita's sudden jerking of her body left her open for some kicks to her chest. Ms Grange hadn't been this hurt so quickly since that one match she had in Summer Splash, something she swore not to remember. But when Lita tried to go in for a T-bone suplex Lucy made sure to try and fight back, delivering a couple of fists into Lita's side.

Ms Grange knew that she needed to try and put up some fight for now, and try to bide her time and hope that Lita got cocky. And gave Ms Grange something to exploit, one mistake cost Lucy and it would cost Lita if she let it. But the combo attacks were enough to allow Lucy's opponent to execute her T-bone attack, and it left Lucy groaning even louder. Although she was going to show her defiance by making sure to narrow her eyes to slits.

Lita grunted when Lucy struck her, but in the long run it just made her want to plant the girl with more authority, or at the very least be more determined if the amount of force was the same. After the impact Lita shouted out "That's it!" she wanted to put this match to bed while she still had the upper hand. She would grab hold of Lucy one more time and set up for what would appear to be a regular suplex, but instead she would go to stop her mid-air. She would hold her upside down for several at least five seconds before bringing her down on her back.

If Lucy didn't find a way out of it and tasted canvas Lita would then go for the pin.
