Ryan and Lucy vs Daisuke and Lita. (For Maxy.)

Lucy wasn't liking her chances, she hadn't been tossed around like this since the last time she and her Brother fought seriously. Lucy's fighting style revolved around being quick, in and out and controlling the pace of battle. This wasn't happening, and Ms Grange knew that victory was ebbing away more and more the longer Lita was in control.

Mr Knight was snarling, he was looking furious. Ryan wanted to rush in and break Lita right now, but he kept it to himself for the time being. If he needed to the paragon of Britain could always pull the extra weight, and let Lucy recover as best she could. Although the odds were certainly not good for Britain's best.

Ms Grange was trying to block out the pain as best she could, when the going got tough her Father taught her that she needed to bear it. For as long as she could, till she could no longer stand. She remained silent, throwing blind fists. A few would hit no doubt, but Lucy was finding herself stuck in a suplex hold. The blood rushing to her head as she dangled upside down, but Ms Grange used the pause to brace herself as best she could for what was about to come.

When the suplex hit the ring gave a loud thud in response, and that time Lucy let out a small and pained scream. Lita then followed up for a pin attempt, no doubt trying to seize the moment and win. The ref only just got to two though, so Lita got in a few good shots. So what? Lucy wasn't going to lie down, even if her body was injured. Ryan was halfway through the ropes, hoping to have rushed at Lita and slam his regal boots into her head. But seeing that there was still fight in his Sister, as he suspected Mr Knight relented. Lucy was going to show one way or another that she had fight in her, all she needed was a good chance. Ms Grange balled her hands into fists, determined to keep going as best she could.

Lina thought Lita had her there and looked surprised when Lucy kicked out of the pin with it only being a two count, which Lita was thinking the same but she didn't let it get to her too much. She picks Lucy up yet again and this time whips her to the corner. Getting her in position after Lucy makes contact with the turnbuckles Lita would climb up the middle rope, wanting to get some fan participation going and encouraged them to count along as she was looking for the ten corner punches. The crowd did join in as Lita began to nail Lucy up high. "ONE" "TWO" "THREE" "FOUR."

Lucy was gritting her teeth, getting more and more angry. This fight hadn't been going her way thus far, and it only made victory a more and more difficult thing to obtain right now. It was times like this that Ms Grange would hope to dig down deep, and show she was more than the British schoolgirl she portrayed herself as.

Ms Grange grunted as Lita picked her up and Irish whipped her to the corner, the momentum wasn't enough for Lucy to try and clamber up for a whisper in the wind or moonsault or anything like that. No Lucy was just going to need to roll with this, and then Lita wasn't far behind. As Lucy's opponent was trying to go for the ten punches.

The British girl winced as the blows hit her forehead, but it was time for a counter. And Lita was in very close position for a good little trick that Lucy's Father taught her. Once Lita bent down to go for the next blow Lucy would suddenly fire her balled right hand upwards, to drive her fist into right Lita's solar plexus. A strike at such a key location was sure to knock the wind out of anyone's sails, more so if they weren't expecting it.

It took the crowd a moment or two as usually happens in this case when the counting stops prematurely as Lita groans after Lucy struck her after a few seconds of just holding on to the turnbuckle bar after it connected she fell down to the canvas. Even though it wasn't good what just happened it was a safe bump though.

Lucy couldn't help but lick her lips as Lita flopped down to the canvas, a minor feeling of catharsis in the pit of her belly. Ms Grange hit a bullseye there, the solar plexus was like a small key target that everyone pranced around with. Usually a punch like that was for people who tried to rob Lucy, but Lita deserved it in her mind.

Now that her opponent had fallen to the mat Lucy had a little devilish grin now, it was time for some payback. And it would be a bitch for Lita, Ms Grange was going to try and make damm sure of that. How to go about it though?

Ms Grange turned around and remembered she was in the corner, and she was the main flyer out of the United Kingdom Elite. Lita had pretty much set up the table for Lucy to turn things around, with that in mind Britain's baby girl quickly hoped to mount up to the top rope. Ryan watching intently and with a somewhat eager look on his face. Lucy would then leap into the air, hoping to go right down on Lita with a flying double foot stomp. That'd be sure to take the wind out of her sails.

Sion rolled his eyes a bit a tiny bit at Lucy's choice of top rope move as if it was him in that situation he would have done something different to a fallen opponent, though what Lucy did do seemed to be good enough to cause Lita to groan out, covering where she was 'stepped' on.

Lucy didn't really care what Sion was thinking right now, the only thoughts running through the mind of Britain's baby girl was how good the feelings were as she slammed the air right out of Ltia's body. The minor cathartic feeling before? Was now getting a bit larger, after all the shit that her opponent put her through it felt damm good to stick right back. Ms Grange wasn't a spiteful person, but still the feeling was there.

The frame of Lucy was light and nimble, which befitted her style of combat in the ring. But even that still weighed something, more so when it was slammed right down on your belly. Ryan was giving a modest grin now, clapping to his adoptive sibling's turning the match around. Now that the momentum of Lita had been killed, it was time for Lucy to try and make something out of it. John was watching from the limo, clenching his hands into fists and biting his lower lip in suspense.

Ms Grange was going to try and wrap her arm around Lita's neck, to try and get her into a standing side headlock. Before suddenly rushing forth in the hopes of bringing her opponent down again for a running bulldog, which would not only move Lucy closer to her corner but also inflict damage onto Lita.

A moment after Lucy 'stepped' on Lita, Sion took another look at John, who looked like he was now interested. Sion said nothing but did in a way question the timing of his support since earlier he didn't look like he was paying as much attention as he appeared to be now. Daisuke was encouraging Lita to stay in it after got bulldog'd. Things looked like they were turning in favour of Lucy but Daisuke knew Lita has been through tougher.

John was hoping that Lucy was going to be okay, after all there was the PPV Summer Splash coming soon. The plan was to have Ms Grange there against an opponent, just because Britain's best had secured the tension tag belts didn't mean they could rest on their laurels after all. That was part of the reason why Lucy was in this match and not the master of creation, also Ms Grange had wanted to nip Lita's claims in the bud. Having her too injured might complicate matters, but at the same time it might lead to Lucy building momentum into the PPV.

Speaking of which in the ring Ms Grange had stopped any momentum that Lita had built up thus far, which was good. But the truth was that Lucy was still hurting a bit, and the bulldog was just part of the plan to turn things around. Namely because not only did it inflict damage onto the opponent of Britain's baby girl, but it also drew them closer to the corner of Britain's best.

Without a word and an icy glare on his face Ryan extended a hand, almost in an airy and regal like manner. Ms Grange slapped his hand with glee, Ryan leaping over the top rope into the ring after that. The paragon of Britain knew that him and Lucy must take the chance now, the adoptive siblings quickly made to get Lita up and face away from their corner. To try and do a good old fashioned double suplex, it was something that the pair had done tried and true. They did it in their first tag match, back in China on the indie circuit.

As the were going for the suplex Daisuke looked like she was going to enter the ring and defend Lita in the event the double teaming carried on after that move.  She would get about halfway through the ropes before making her decision.  If they followed up with anything she would jump right in, if not she would puller herself back through, either way nothing stopped them from bringing Lita up and over.
