Demand Match: Adrian Knight vs. Makoto Takeda - Date Night

The beauty of this entire attack was that Mako didn't really have to much of anything to get the maximum effect. All that really happened was her landing on Adrian's chiseled and scarred chest. Aerial attacks were more Stone's thing, but she was starting to see the appeal.

She landed on one knee and popped back up in the next second, grabbing hold of a pipe to help herself. "Running? No. Climbing, jumping, getting the drop on loudmouths? That I do." She ran after him, closing the distance and jumping towards his stomach with her knees pointing straight down - a very rough landing.

He groaned, slowly trying to push himself up to his feet once more. "Mother fu..*heavy sigh*..."Damn, that had hurt. Now he really DID feel a bit sorry for slamming her into the ground just a bit ago. That had hurt like hell, and would likely continue to do so for days.

He'd recovered just enough to see Mako barreling down toward him once again. He curled inward and dropped his elbows over his abdomen, trying to keep her knees from pounding the wind out of him. Instead, they crashed into his forearms harshly. There'd be some nasty bruises later, to be sure. But, beyond keeping oxygen in his lungs, the block did little to hinder Mako's continuing attack, or to get him in a better position.

Damn, he blocked it. She still got in some damage, but only on his arms. Not good enough. She craved body contact, full impact damage, and she was going to get it, one way or the other.

"Got your attention?" She got up off him, remembering how dangerous it was to try and wrestle around with this guy. Better to stay on her feet and make sure he stayed off his. Work him over, wear him down to the nub, then - and only then - move in for the kill.

Mako stood at his side, reared her foot back, and launched it into his ribs with monster truck force, trying to put him on his chest. That was the position where all the really fun submission moves started, after all.

This... was bad. His positioning couldn't have gotten much worse and it wasn't getting better. He tried to recover, but every time he got close to composed again, another attack came flying in. "Starting to." He replied sarcastically, ever defiant.

Luckily, the pain in his forearms was pain he could easily cope with. Not like having the wind knocked out of him. When she'd climbed back off of him, his gaze followed her as he began to set up his defense. He needed to get back to his feet, or take her down to his level. But neither one would be easy unless he could find a way to counter her without leaving himself open for a submission attempt.

The good thing about kicks like hers was that they took time to perform, and he'd already had his eyes on her. He knew he wouldn't be able to get out of the way in time so, instead, he curled his body inward and moved an arm down to block. The kick crashed against his arm hard and the force of the kick still caused him to roll over to his chest.

He knew there was little time to waste and he began pushing himself up, but he'd underestimated the damage she'd just done to his arm. "Agh, goddammit!" He growled as pain shot through his arm, reflexively causing him to take the weight back off of it, temporarily foiling his attempt at finally getting back to his feet.

She hissed as he blocked yet another blow. Still not getting that satisfying impact, missing out on a solid strike. She was doing the damage and keeping him down, but she wanted something real, here. A palpable hit before she moved on to the tapout.

Maybe she was being a little too overzealous. Afrer all, she'd knocked him on his chest and now she had his entire back all to herself. A myriad of options laid before her. There was always the classics, like the camel clutch and the boston crab, but everybody went for those. This was her hardcore debut and Adrian's first match in the AFW, period. She could bust out the fine China, go a little deeper into the quiver than usual.

She moved behind him as he wallowed about, loving the sight of him in pain. She used to think a lot of Tension girls just got their rocks off dominating guys...and she still thought that, but now she couldn't blame them quite as much. Having a guy like Adrian under control was a rare thrill. She'd savor it.

She reached down, grabbed his leg, and started to put him in a straight ankle lock, dropping down and scissoring his leg to make sure it stayed secure. She'd focused on upperbody damage most of the match, but there was something to be said for working on the bottom half, too. The weaker his legs were, the slower he'd be.

His arms, the right in particular as it had taken the brunt of the damage of her kick, were aching now. It made pushing himself back to his feet that much of a chore. But, he was slowly managing it as Mako took the time to decide which next torture device to reveal from her bag of tricks. But, hopefully, she wouldn't get the chance to choose.

Sadly, that hope went fulfilled. As was made apparent when she grabbed his ankle and yanked it out from under him, sending him sprawling back down. Fortunately, he managed to catch himself on his goo... less bad arm and didn't fall flat on his face. His position went from bad to worse as she captured his ankles and clamped her legs down around his.

He gritted his teeth and a frustrated growl escaped him as he felt the pressure on his ankle build. His hands moved to her feet, trying to force her ankles to unlock as he did his best to roll his body the same direction she was twisting his ankle to try and relieve the pressure a bit.

Mako enjoyed the sounds of his pained growls and grunts as she twisted the ankle. She would have preferred to pulverize him, to be honest, but this was a good second. Without any ropes for him to move towards, submissions were even more effective than usual.

Plus, this particular submission gave her a great view of his ass. Very nice, very nice. "I'm sure this sucks for you...feel free to tap out, anytime."

This was a solid submission, and while it lacked the overall power of the standing version, scissoring his leg like this made it harder for him to escape. But not impossible, and he was making a decent go of it, trying to make her legs uncross. She held the ankle tight, but after enough prodding, she did have to unhook. She didn't let him go without some punishment, though.

She raised her leg up and drove her heel down into the back of his thigh, looking to add some more pain to the mix and further dismantle his leg. "Bad boy."

His ankle burned, being wrenched to it's limit as he struggled in her hold. Still he struggled with her ankles, trying desperately to uncross them. Goddamn her legs are strong... he thought as he finally managed to separate them. He couldn't help but think back to the crushing first impression they'd made on him just a short while ago.

"Ugh, fuck you..." He growled back over his shoulder at her, not bothering to hide his frustration. Things had been going so well until he'd let her get the drop on him. A mistake he didn't plan to duplicate.

He'd looked back just in time to see her leg rising for the kick. And he saw his opening. His own foot swept out, looking to strike her in the arm that was gripping his ankle, hoping to force her to release it.. He hadn't planned on fighting dirty, persay. But this was a hardcore match. It was all legal and he couldn't afford to fight fair by that point. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do about her kick other than hope that his kick distracted her from that course of action.

Mako chuckled at his cursing, seeing him get all flustered. she gave his ankle a little extra tweak for a response. "Love it when you talk dirty, keep it up."

She would have been fine holding onto his ankle forever - or until he tapped, whichever came first. But it wasn't to be, alas. She'd been so swept away in the moment that she sort of forgot he had two legs to work with, and his other one came crashing into her arm, right on the muscle. "Fuck!" She broke the hold on reflex, and even though she managed to land her own kick in the process, it didn't have nearly as much force as she was going for. She rolled away, cradling her arm and getting to one knee as she faced him.

"Agh!" He choked out as she tweaked his ankle once again, putting an even harsher strain on it. That was going to be sore... everything was, actually.

He was relieved when he felt his kick land squarely into the tensed up muscle of her arm. The sudden release on his ankle was like a breath of fresh air as well, though it instantly began to ache. And then her heel crashed down into the back of his thigh and he shouted out in pain. It was a good thing he'd knocked a bit of power out of the kick, otherwise he'd have been looking at a hamstring injury. Not such a desirable outcome his debut match.

As she rolled away and couched like a lioness, he scooted away a bit and finally managed to push himself up to one knee as well. He turned to face her then, breathing heavily and clearly trying to keep weight off the leg she'd just got done assaulting. He didn't say anything, but watched her, admiring her form as he watched for one of the sudden, unorthodox attacks she seemed to like. For the first time, in what already seemed like forever, he was on even footing with her again, though he'd taken more damage. If he had any hope to still win, he'd have to play it carefully. And every moment she waited gave him that much more time to recoup.
