Ryan Knight vs Makoto 'Mako' Takeda

Standard match rules.

In the back the British born wrestler known to many as Ryan Knight was getting ready for his latest match, quite recently he'd teamed up with his Sister to battle the Takeuchi siblings in a tag team match. To be honest it had felt good working alongside her once again, like they had done back in China. Truth be told Ryan missed those days, just him and his family. Wandering from one ring to the next to get his lessons done during matches, that time he dislocated his shoulder during a match. Heck they felt so long ago, but in truth that was about a year or so ago.

Mr Knight had done a little looking up on his opponent, apparently she was a sort of biker chick. That already set alarm bells ringing, he knew people like that weren't one to "Fight with honour." so to say. But Ryan had no fear, he'd merely fight and overcome. After all he'd been no stranger to adversity in his life, heck his monster of a Father was probably worse than this person. So yeah, Ryan was up for throwing down with this girl.



Dressed in his classy, yet usual attire. Mr Knight made his way to the entrance, he could hear the humming of the crowd. He got a mixed reaction to be sure, Mr Knight and to extension the UKE were no strangers to controversy. But Ryan didn't care much for the thoughts of nay-sayers. They were just looking to stir up heat after all, so why bother pouring gasoline on the fire that he was?

Upon entering the ring Ryan bowed to the audience, before moving to the nearby corner. He removed and folded the top part of his costume, sliding it under the bottom turnbuckle. The young man then began performing some light stretching, if his opponent was like how he thought it was. There could be no beating around the bush, he'd be ready to throw down.

Her first match. Ever. Mako had gooesebumps.

She wouldn't let the others know it, but her plans in the AFW weren't just about establishing dominance. Truth be told, she'd wanted to join Tension for a a good year. She'd been keeping track of the shows, watching the PPVs, staying up with the storyline. It was good. Nice fights, good and rough, just like she had on the streets growing up, only more legal. Bigger payoffs. The limelight. It was everything she always wanted a fight to be. Nervous? Yeah, a little. But giddy, too. Giddy like a crazed, violent schoolgirl.

Oh, yeah, and it helped that she was getting paid more money than she'd seen in one place her entire life just to beat the shit out of some stuffy British guy, too. Life was just full of pleasant little turns for her, recently.

Her engine roar, kicking up smoke behind her as she circled around the ring. The exhaust blew out into the audience, making any near the ring gasp and cough, waving it as she completed a full circuit.

The boos started up, of course. Fine with her, they were going to come, anyway.

She hit the kickstand and left her motorcycle there for the stagehands to wheel off, as she slid into the ring. She took off her helmet and tossed it out through the ropes, looking Ryan up and down. "Huh. Dressed a little fancy for a wrestling match. We dancing or fighting?"

"Figured it'd be a bike." muttered out the young man, Ryan was in a crouching position as he lightly stretched his wrists. She certainly wasn't one for lack of confidence, taking her time going around the whole outside of the ring. Ryan was glad she had confidence, he liked it like that.

When she took her helmet off Ryan stood up and leaned back on the ropes, sizing up who he was facing. She was about Lucy's height, least before she had her growth spurt. He knew looks could be deceiving, and it appeared she was doing that to him. Trying to poke at his dress sense eh?

Ryan smirked and ran his hand into his handsome blonde mane "Dress to impress love, I ain't here to dance. That's for the nightclubs, maybe later. But we're here to fight, so don't disappoint love." Mr Knight cracked his neck and shoulders, moving to his corner to await the bell.

Mako tightened up her gloves, looking him over. Frankly, she didn't see what all the fuss was about. He looked like a runaway from a Shakespeare play, and not even one of the good ones. Henry IV, probably. Why Damus even needed help, she couldn't fathom. A well-placed crowbar would do wonders.

But whatever, money was money was money.

"Okay, first off, don't call me 'love'. Or 'mate'. Or 'lass'. Or anything else from any dialect you may or may not be familiar with. It's Mako." She finished adjusting her gloves just as the bell rang. "Secondly, I wouldn't make any plans for a club visit later. You're going to be busy for a little while. Insurance claims, x-rays, doctor visits, stuff like that. Just so we're clear - I am about to wreck your shit. "

"Oh really? Does your rudeness know no bounds? Although far be it from me to turn down a challenge, you have courage. I like that." Ryan said, he could tell this girl was here to throw down. But Ryan wasn't about to take smack like that lying down. True he might dress and act like a Knight, but make no mistake. He was just as powerful and skilful as one, he wasn't one to be beaten easily.

"The gauntlet has been thrown down, do try your best Mako-san." Mr Knight said simply, the match was underway. And he was all business now, his gaze stoic and icy. His body tensed and ready to move, both arms ready to grapple.

When the bell rung Ryan wasn't going to beat around the bush with any fancy moves, he figured someone like Mako was going to be rough based on her appearance. So he'd just do what he did during that match he had with Lucy against the Takeuchi siblings. Ryan would rush in to try and grab Mako by the arm and back of the neck, and just fling her across the ring.

Mako just shrugged it off. She would have lost count of all the people who called her rude if she gave enough of a damn to count in the first place. "I give approximately zero fucks."

The bell rang and Ryan went into action, coming at her with his poofy dress and girly hair flitting about. Mako was expecting him to go for a tie up - wasn't that a rule or something? Apparently not, because instead of testing strength, he just flung her around the ring and let her bounce off the ropes, coming right back to him.

Instead of resisting the momentum, Mako poured more speed into and rushed back towards Ryan, leaping up and to the side right before they collided and swing her arm out with a jumping clothesline, getting some good air for her size.

Ryan was expecting Mako to come out fighting from that toss, and she certainly did. She was fast, nearly as fast as Lucy was. He kinda expected that from her, Mr Knight was planning to go for a clothesline himself as he moved towards her.

But he wasn't planning on Mako going for one herself, that attack hit the young man. Although he was hoping his attempt connected with her midriff, if only to try and keep the momentum from going to her too early in the matchup.

"Guh!" Ryan sharply let out as he hit the mat, rolling away from Mako soon after he landed and attempting to get back to a vertical position. It had just begun and Mr Knight wasn't one to stay down if he could help it.

Mako took his clothesline in her chest as they collided, but fortunately she didn't have too much in the chest area to attack. Being as flat as a polished board came in handy, sometimes.

She fell to her knees and he fell on his back, immediately starting to get back. Smart - on his feet he had the height advantage going, down here things were mostly even. All the more reason to keep things horizontal as much as possible.

"What's wrong, Ryan?" She jumped to the side and tried to straddle his chest. "Would think a guy like you'd be used to taking it on his back." She tried to get a good position and rain a couple of close-range punches right into his jaw, drill his head straight into the mat and tenderize those pretty boy features a little.

Ryan let out a few grunts of annoyance, it seems that Mako wasn't too eager on Ryan getting back up. He was half way getting up by the time she got onto him, taking those punches to the jaw. But he'd been no stranger to being hit, his old man smacked him around when he was just a toddler. So he wasn't going down just like that, no sir.

"Tch!" Mr Knight muttered out, he then tried to grab Mako and wrap his arms around her as he stood back up. But he wasn't planning on no bear hug, no he'd attempt to drive her into the nearest corner. And start delivering some knees to the chest, Mako wasn't the only one who could start throwing out blows.

Mako found her size was an asset when she used it right, but she couldn't ignore the drawbacks, either. She was a Kawaii sized fighter taking on full-grown men. That was bound to be a problem.

For instance, it was all too easy for Ryan to keep pushing up and lift her with him, like had all the heft of a stuffed teddy bear. He went running and slammed her hard into the corner, draping her back over the turnbuckle while he hammered her with one, two, three hard knees right into her stomach.

Not bad for a guy in a poofy dress.

She grabbed his hair with both hands as he drilled her and gripped his hair tight, then slid down the turnbuckle, trying to drive him head right into the top rope as she fell on her butt.
