Demand Match: Adrian Knight vs. Makoto Takeda - Date Night

Okay, Mako was a proud woman, but even she could admit when she was in a bad situation, and this definitely qualified. She'd never been the most limber of fighters, and Adrian was stretching her to the breaking point. Raising the pain to new levels as he pulled back, nearly bending her into a perfect L.

To make matters worse, he was starting to hook her legs. Into what, she couldn't guess, but it was reasonable to assume she wouldn't like it.

So, then. Escape was a top priority. Right now.

As she was yanked upward, Mako tried to use the new position to her advantage. She reached up with both hands and grabbed at his golden hair. She loved his look, hated to risk damaging it, but she couldn't think of another way. The only chance she saw was to grab his hair and yank him off, and that was exactly what she went for.

He grinned, having gotten the ankles hooked and held her there for a few long moments, trying to wear her down further before making the final maneuver to set up his signature submission. This had been a lot easier than he'd anticipated. But then again, perhaps she'd actually been giving it her all during their spar. It was hard to be sure, but he didn't really believe in winning a fight by luck. He made his move and began his attempt at positioning his knees into the small of her back.

But his training and experience hadn't prepared him for the schoolyard bully tactic that was about to be used. He eyed her as he felt her petite fingers grasping handfuls of hair. "Are you fu..AAGH!" He growled in pain as she pulled, sending sharp waves of pain through his scalp. The shock of the sudden sharp pains forced his hold on her neck to weaken, almost to the breaking point. It was clear The Rack would have to wait to make it's AFW debut. He concentrated on trying to maintain his position then, freeing her ankles as he tried to retake the rear mount position in hopes to re-affirm his sleeperhold again.

It only half-worked, but that was far better than nothing at all. She hadn't thrown Adrian off - not yet - but she stopped whatever it was he was trying to do, likely sparing herself a good deal of pain. Mako wasn't out of the woods, but she could see the light up ahead. She hated hair-pulling in fights, but she was pretty sure she'd hate being snapped like a twig even more.

Adrian was still riding her like a rodeo, and as much as she enjoyed the proximity, this wasn't a position she cared for with sex or violence. She was getting some fresh air, but he was moving back in before she could even draw in three gulps. Fast, this man was. But was he fast enough?

Mako bucked hard to the side as he moved for to reapply the choke, seizing the only opportunity she could see and praying for the rest.

Well, not praying, but...

His teeth were clenched together tightly, trying to cope with the pain and reset his hold once again. His scalp was on fire, but he was nothing if not tough. He rode it out, literally and figuratively. "Goddammit let go!" He growled as he tried to pull her tighter into the sleeper once more. However, they were both sweating profusely, making skin to skin contact rather slippery. The hold was becoming very difficult to hold onto while she yanked on his hair.

As he was resetting the choke, trying to lock it in, she bucked up and his grip slipped as he fell over to the side. One arm remained around her neck, trying to hold onto the choke as much as possible, but it was left unlocked as he struggled to keep his position atop her back. He thought he'd had her for sure, but she was proving to be as tough as she claimed. Which happened to bring a bit of a smile to his face.

If Adrian he wasn't anything else, he was a stubborn fucker. People told her she was persistent, but she doubted even she could have held on like he was managing. He was like a starving bulldog with his first meal of the day, and the next time he got her down, she seriously doubted she could get up again. Assuming, of course, that she escaped this time.

She was making some good progress on that front, even thought that was getting harder and harder with the lack of air. Her groans turned into growls as they fell to the side, and if she ever had a chance in hell of breaking free, this was it. "You...first!" She took one hand off his hair and brought it down to shoot two quick elbows into his side, hoping it would take enough fight out of him for her to pull away and get some fresh air.

He struggled, holding on as tightly has the strength sapping heat of the boiler room would allow. Every time he got close to re-securing his hold, she made some other move that let her slip just a bit more free instead. "Not a chance!" He fired back. And yes, he was incredibly stubborn. It was one of the things that had made him a good fighter.

They both fell over to the side, pinning an arm and leg under her body-weight. Being literally soaked with sweat, and a little added help from the two sudden elbows that rocketed into his ribs caused his grip to finally slip free, releasing her from his choking grasp. His breaths were coming heavy and uncomfortable in the hot air. What he wouldn't have given for a bit of air conditioning just then. He pulled his arm free from under her and began working to free his leg so he could go back on the attack.

Fuck, he could have the leg if he wanted it. Mako wasn't going to put up much of a fight for it, that was for sure. Tempting as it was to press the attack, the truth of the matter was that Mako just did not have the energy. She'd spent far too much time getting choked, and now she was oxygen starved. She needed a reprieve, even if that meant giving him time to recoup, too.

She rolled away from him and ducked under some nearby pipes, retreating into the shadows. Stealth wasn't her style, but neither was getting pounded, either, and if she had to make a concession somewhere, it would definitely be with the former. For once, being a pipsqueak would come in handy, since there was just enough room for her to maneuver.

As she rolled away, he pushed himself back up to one knee, breathing heavily. He was drenched in sweat by that point and quite tired. Sleep would come easy tonight, he was certain. It was frustrating it didn't come as easy to Makoto either, but she'd managed to escape his hold before he could complete it. With deep breath and a sharp exhale, he stood fully.

As he wiped away the hair that was stuck to his face, he was surprised to see Mako slinking away into the shadows. "Wait, where the hell are you going?" He asked, moving that way curiously, but he'd lost sight of her in the shadows of all the various pipes and machinery. "Giving up already then? You could have at least tapped to make it official, y'know." He called as he searched for her, keeping a close eye on his surroundings.

Oh, he was making with the smart-assery. Cute. She had a little something for that.

She had the advantage here, an easy free shot if she played it right. The only question was how to get that done. She couldn't work her way around from her position, and if she came at him straight on, he'd probably block or just dodge, which would end up with her tasting the floor, again. Above, though? Above had some promise.

She took off her shirt, going down to her sports bra underneath to get as much air on her skin as possible. With that done, she took a deep breath and made like a monkey, climbing up the pipes and working her way up about five feet, trying to stay quiet as she went. She caught sight of Adrian, took aim, and launched herself towards him, looking to dropkick his chest from above.

"Damn... I sure didn't expect you to be the running type." He admitted, seeming genuinely disappointed as he searched for her. And here he thought he'd found a girl that would be able to keep up with him. Shame.

He turned and started back the way he'd came, only to see Mako's form flying down at him. It was too late for him to throw up an effective block or even try to dodge and her feet collided with his chest solidly, sending him sprawling backward. He growled in pain as the bare skin of his back scraped along the metal as he came crashing down onto the metal-grate floor. Not to mention the metal floor didn't exactly have much give.
