"One!"

The ref slapped the mat, and the crowd counted with her while Taylor laid flat on her back. Adrian's weight pressed down on her stomach, her leg was bent up overhead, and all she could do was clutch her neck and grit her teeth in pain.

"Two!"

Sweat beaded off her forehead, her chest heaved. She knew Junko was nearby, losing her mind. She knew she was losing.

But only losing wasn't so bad. She drew a breath, braced herself, and kicked as hard as she could, punching one arm up in the air to break the pin just before the three-count while the crowd cheered and applauded.

"FUCK YOU!" She gasped, and tried to turn over and get to her hands and knees to crawl for the ropes.

As the first count came down, Adrian stoicly nodded along with the referee's hand. A one count was nothing major, it usually took at least one moment for someone to realise they were being pinned. The two count, now that was something, and as the former cosplayer saw the referee's hand come down for the third and final count, her heart lifted: she'd thought she'd finally done it, but Taylor was quick to end her optimism. "Fuuuuuuuck!" Adrian groaned, her mask of aloof precision cracking as she turned to yell at the ref "Come on! That had to be three!" She protested, slapping her hands together 3 times. "It's not that hard you assfuck!"

Taylor crawled her way to the ropes and used them to struggle to her feet. She needed a moment to recover, but she couldn't waste any time. She had to go after Adrian before...

Or maybe not. That's what Junko had been screaming for, don't be an idiot. She took a long, shaky breath and tried to stretch her neck. It hurt. It would definitely limit her options as to what she could do to win, but... it was only one night. She could put everything on the line, including her wellbeing, because one way or another she'd be resting soon, and she would must rather be relaxing as a winner and not wallowing as a loser.

She still had one thing going for her, though. She pushed herself off the ropes and pointed at Adrian. "Assfuck, huh?" She taunted, in a snotty, mocking tone. "Sounds like your average night with Tomko, am I right? Is that why you're so cranky all the time?" She tilted her head to the side and put on a pout. "Does your butt hurt?"

Adrian turned to scowl at Taylor, she hoped her latest barrage would have at least stop some of the trash talk, even if it was just through enough blunt force trauma to break speech centers in the punkette's brain or something so she would just... "ShutTheFuckUp!" the former cosplayer snapped as she rose to her feet, snapping a low kick out at the blonde, trying to catch her on the back of her knee.

"Gah!"

Adrian's kick buckled Taylor's leg and dropped her to her knees. "Sounds like a yes to me..." She taunted, but couldn't muster a smile. From all fours, she lunged at Adrian, striking back by smashing her elbow into the brunette's midsection. "Don't worry, I won't spank you too hard."

"Ugh!" Adrian grunted as Taylor's elbow caught her off guard, forcing the former cosplayer to double over and gasp for breath. "J-just because you have to do all the work yourself when you're with Johnny," she taunted back, trying to think of something somewhat witty or cool to say. Snappy comebacks about sexual activities was never her strong suit and this was probably something she'd have to yell at Taylor as a non-sequitor when she next saw her after the match. Maybe after reflecting on her glorious victory she could think of a decent one-liner. Screw it, she thought as she grabbed the still on all-fours Taylor by the neck and raising her own leg back, before driving forward to try and smash her knee into Taylor's already bloody face. If brain-trauma wouldn't shut her up, losing a few teeth might. Or at the very least the crunch will be satisfying enough to consider it revenge extracted

Taylor winced when Adrian's hands closed over her neck, but she was more worried about the incoming knee. She threw her hands up between it and her face, but it hit hard enough to punch straight through her hasty defenses and slam into her face. She pitched backwards and fell, flat on her back with her feet down and her knees up, arms spread out to the sides, and this time she stayed down.

Adrian smirked as Taylor fell back down to the mat "Yeah, its not easy trying to talk smack when getting beaten down, is it?" the former cosplayer taunted as she moved to grab the blonde by the legs, wrapping them arround her own right leg as she tried to turn Taylor over and back into another sharpshooter. She was feeling a little better about her back, and could really drop back this time, no more having to twist around to compensate for a lack of pressure, Adrian was going to hurt Taylor the old fashioned way.

"Nnngh..." Taylor groaned. She groggily brought a hand up to her aching head while the dull roar of the crowd droned in the back of her mind. She couldn't quite remember where she was, but it became immediately clear when Adrian grabbed hold of her legs.

"No!" She protested. Her first thought was to spread her arms out to keep from getting turned over as Adrian folded her legs over one another, but that wouldn't do. In a sudden burst of effort, she sat up and grabbed two handfuls of Adrian's dangling brown hair. Her lean, muscular body strained to pull her down so that she wouldn't be able to turn her over and break her in half.

Adrian was feeling pretty good about her chances as she held Taylor by the legs, at least until the punkette reached up to grab her by the hair. "Aaah!" She yelped as the former cosplayer fought to remain standing up while Taylor tried to yank her down, bad memories resurfacing from the last time Taylor got hold of her long hair. "Let!" she demanded, reaching down to grab Taylor's hair "THE!" she added, letting go of Taylor's legs completely "FUCK!" the former cosplayer yelled as she launched a vicious elbow shot down at the punkette "GO!" Adrian screamed as she abandoned her hold, instead just trying to erase Taylor's features with her elbow, firing as many blows as she could.
